My cat is like that too! I just introduced them and she just sat there with them and the other cat just sat on the bed looking like she didnt care haha
Madison Freitas It really depends on the personalities of your animals! I would never leave anyone unsupervised and our cats don’t have access to the cages but other then once in a while watching what they’re up to they have no desire to bother with them.

so I am so happy you get to stay with your bunnies all the time. I love being a stay at home mom/writer/animal keeper. It is so nice to be able to care for all the time and know what they do during their quiet hours

The only rabbit that would be friends with a Guinea pig is the Lop kind(one with the dropped ears) cuz they were litteraly bred to be friendly
Only found your videos a few days ago and I love them! I only have the one bun and she's so loving its just incredible how they bond with you, and for anyone asking about bonding with your rabbit all I can say is time, it just takes time give them there space and they will soon warm to you once they know your not a threat! And I don't know if you take video suggestions but I'd love a how to create a rabbit play area etc... Thanks for your videos Budget Bunny, a pleasure watching them! :)

Hey thanks! Very exciting! There will be handmade things like beds, hammocks, toys and treats but right now I'm also trying to source some suppliers so I can have actual products for small pets in there as well :) At this point I'm hoping to get it open sometime in July :)

I have quite a few videos of floortime with the bunnies you could check out! That being said, floortime should be in an area that you've bunny proofed to make sure it's safe for your rabbits! You'll want to give them a good section to encourage natural fun behaviours like the bunny 500s and binkies. I give the rabbits my long, upstairs hallway, the bathroom and a portion of our bedroom to run around in :) I use NIC grids I've ziptied together to form gates to section off areas like under the bed

I was just wondering how you got your cat and the bunnies (and piggies) to be so comfortable around each other. My kitten keeps on chasing my rabbit all the time. Even though he doesn't hurt him, the bun gets really annoyed and growls at him quite a lot.

Hahaha, our little Parrotlet has run across the floor chasing our golden retrievers before! They didn't know what to think!
Protection - even in the safest hutch a determined predator may find their way in. Rabbits can literally be scared to death so even if a predator can't get in but is around it may cause your rabbit to have a heart attack. There are many illnesses and disease outdoors - in the UK myxomatosis and VHD, not to mention fleas, ticks, mites, botfly, mosquitos can easily spread disease etc, climate depending on where you live can be extremely cold in winter and too hot in summer....just to name a few!
So For your new job what will you be doing? :D For your shop will you be selling rabbit and rodent supplies/accessories? I would def buy from you especially since you live in Canada!

TwinkleStar33ruffie They have no reason to be. They've all grown up together and my cats have no instincts whatsoever lol.
I have guinea pigs and they are not afraid of cats either when they meet one, although their previous owner's cat launched itself at their cage in order to try to catch and eat them.
I don't see why would guinea pigs be necessarily afraid of cats, because cats are not their natural predator ^^ Guinea pigs are more afraid of everything that comes from the sky...or humans !
I wanted to say, this is the first cat I ever saw eat hay ^^

My cat is afraid of my guinea pig, but my guinea pig ADORES my cat. My cat likes to sleep with him sometimes, it’s so cute!
I have an 11 (almost 12 in a couple of days) year old cat and a (around) 10 month old rabbit who both spend each day outside. Whenever the cat, Bella, comes up to the rabbit, Peter, and he's in his cage he will thump at her, but if we let him out for a walk he will go right up to her, wanting to play. Why is this? I'm not sure if he just feels cornered in the cage (which he has to stay in because we live on a busy street and there are rabbit sized gaps under the fence) or whether its because he's worried that the cat will do something to his "rabbit friend". He has a stuffed toy rabbit which his is very territorial about even with us.
Heehee I've been awful with the shop so far! Too busy trying to get the house in order, update the website and get some videos up! I'm going to have to start really planning my day ;)

Hi I have two female guniea pigs and one female rabbit I love them all so much ❤️my rabbit tries to hop in my guinea pigs cage there floor cage she just started that but I don’t let her stay in there
It just depends on the personalities of your pets. We have a third cat that couldn't be up there during floor time because I knew she would try to hunt them.
I have a video on trimming your rabbits nails that may help. Bunnies can be quite fidgety so the first few times you may want to wrap your bunny in a blanket, have a friend or family member hold them securely and bring one paw out at a time. You can also bring to your vets the first few times and they can teach you and do it for you until you're comfortable.

Hahaha no! Only Cali, the stray we rescued last year which is why she was confined to another area of the house. She's a real hunter that one! And very playful!

I don't treat my hamster unless my vet tells me to. When I did have to treat my previous hamster when we actually had the mite outbreak in our house I was to put one drop of revolution on the back of her neck.

I honestly wish I had video of it! It was so funny! I was keeping a close eye on Chandler because Charlie and Indie were hogging the bed and Chandler barely moved and Indie was like a bolt of lightning! And yes I'll be scheduling and planning tonight over some green tea :)

do you know how to treat sore hocks? my lop has it on both feet very small, i have a fluffy blanket on the floor and towels and mats everywhere, but it seems to get worse every year :(
My rabbit was a boy and he use to play with a girl guinea pig and were very nice together and even got to stay on the same picture
