Wheat hay is perfectly safe as long as it’s still in the green stage. If it’s turned yellow then it’s straw (which is good as bedding only) since it has no nutritional value in this state. Just depends on when it was harvested.

And that made me really sad because the down eared ones are either to expensive or toó far away. Any way i can convince my mum?
