- Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Salvations Edge Raid - Encounter #1 "Gain Access to the Monolith" / Substratum. Just a video of our first clear of the Salvations Edge Raid on Day One with Contest Mode.
I'll have all of the encounters up on the channel from our first completions. I'll add more details later on for a sort of mini guide / how to.

My team was stuck here. We gave up for now. This is by far the hardest raid I have ever seen (judging from the first encounter alone). Holy moly

There must be an unspoken rule that in any raid or dungeon or team activity, Esoterrickk does not speak. Like he has a spokesperson that speaks for him and you must know and accept this to play with him.

This encounter alone was longer than fucking RoN
Almost 4 hours later, i still had no idea what was going on... And racers were up between the 2nd and the 3rd encounter.
This raid got HANDS, man.
Gonna sleep now, i hope tomorrow i can clear contest mode.. How much time do i have left for contest btw?

At least i can say i made it past this encounter after 7 brutal hours... Im definitely not gonna attempt it today at all.
So, for some clarification, do totems have to be shot when depositing resonance onto the plate or does it just automatically go in. So far shooting it has worked but it seems to be inconsistent
You have to send the conduit signal to the totem room, shoot the totem with resonance buff, then stand on the plate when it's trying to overcharge. You'll know you got it right when the totem closes
@@darkwing272 yeah, we were getting the totems to close by how we were doing it, we just weren't aware of the exact method, pretty visible on the video now that I've scanned it over a few times. Thanks mate

Can anybody give a step by step guide to how to do this encounter ?
Up
2 teams of 3
each team clears a sequence of rooms
killing overload spawns tormentor
killing tormentor turns on a plate
do this twice
both teams will have a charged plate on opposite sides of the map
2 people per team send the charge back and forth between two plates 1 person clears their adds
little pyramids will spawn everytime u send a charge between plates
youll need at least 1 and maximum 3 to finish 4 obelisks (1 per plate)
finally dunk as many resonance buffs in the middle platform as possible

does shooting the totem takes one resonance buff?..or are you sending that buff to the other side through the plate?
Does everyone have to collect those resonance pieces?
This raid isn’t for the weak I just spent 15 hours on the first encounter. My team know the mechanics but can’t execute the 3 cycles. Today was my last day as a Guardian.
