So reassuring to hear you recommending the strategies we have been using to teach. Everything mentioned in this guide is GOLD!!! Only thing you could add is a structure to the ghost callouts in Verity. Teaching through lfg its where we hit the most problems surprisingly. If people are staying silent regarding what ghost goes where or which ghost belongs to their guardian it can lead to some very frustrating wipes. Great content ill be recommending ur guide to any and everyone that will listen.

Couple of actual decent tips tbh. I might use the one for encounter 2 not sure, but encounter 5 I will use the resistance tips just incase even though I am pretty consistent on the dodging.
For dissection, interact with the call out, ie, tsc, dunk tri on left statue, dunk square on mid, dunk circle on right, dunk whatever shape is doubled on its own.
For the poor soul like me who needs to hear it: In 4th encounter, even if one of the shapes you start with is one you need, you CANNOT use your originally provided shape to create the key. You HAVE to give it away every time.
10:54 we tend to only kill the subjugator on the side that has the circle/hands from the ground, as that’s the one that has to be kind of in the line of fire of the subjugator.
For dissection I would actually recommend simply focusing on ONE statue at a time. For most players on your first go at dissection you should simply try to get the correct geometry in each statue one at a time from left to right. So if your left statue is Square as the call and has square and circle in it you should get square and offer it to the left statue. Then you should get triangle and offer it to whichever other statue has triangle. If done correctly your left most statue is done. You then move on to swapping your remaining shapes between the two remaining statues to get the correct geometry. The reason this strategy is the least mentally taxing is due to you reducing the amount of information your brain is trying to process on the fly by breaking down each step in to one objective at a time.
Just to check for the 1st encounter. Whichever team gets the overload in the first round of rooms they will need to go back to the room where the overload spawned to find their starting plate and not the room they were in before the second tormentor was killed. Is that correct?
Third encounter tips arent bad but.. It might be better to just keep the same 3 teams of 2. Starter plate people always on the same starting plates left to right. Closing plate guys move around each room to match their starting plate. Out of the 3 closing plate people, 2 people will only change their spot once, 1 person will have to change twice. This comes with benefits: 1. If anything gets messed up or mistimed, each individual team can go at their own pace. 2. Starter plate only has to remember the shape that their closer partner calls out after killing tormentor and looking at conduit. When everyone is closing, just find your conduit and say "send 'SHAPE' " and they'll know to send it. No one has to remember anything about where the wires go or any of that. 3. All 3 closers can always gather the same shapes throughout the entire encounter.
Here's an 8th tip, tho IDK if it's useful: Apparently, titan sentinel shield super can block the witness's attacks during damage phase of the Titan is in the right position. Even blocks the attack that you need to jump over.
@@MICROKNIGHT3000 because its not worth the loss in damage and all it does is teach you to crutch on a titan and youll be screwed when you dont have one in your team.

There’s no reason to force subjugator spawns in third encounter. Even if you’re ready you can just keep pinging the plate until the other two runners are ready to swap. Gonna save time not fussing with more big hp bars and just killing some extra legionaries instead
6:48 can you explain please how after everyone has done the "first phase" reach the guardian death sequence if to do that you need to do 6 swaps inside and to complete phase 1 you need up to 3 swaps? I assumed you need to do phase 2 of distribution of your own shapes, as people do it you reach the critical mass of 6 swaps, that triggers guardian death and after that you return and finish swapping?
The death sequence seems to be time based. So most teams will do the first phase where they make sure their shape is the only one on their wall. Then they do the second phase after the death sequence where they give their shape to the other 2 players. If done correctly you will deposit 2 shapes before death, and 2 shapes after death. Although if everyone is super fast you can technically do all 4 shapes before death sometimes
To clear some confusion on 2nd encounter, when the plate fails, will the corresponding miniboss spawn back in? Or will absolutely nothing happen because no one has stolen favor?
If plate fails on the first pass nothing will happen, if plate fails on second pass or more then mini boss will spawn it works like that with all plate encounters in raid

this 1st part is what always confuses me… “ you always want to head in the opposite direction from your team, you’ll notice the other teams door opens top right, so when you enter your room, we want to head to the right.
Does anyone know why for the verity encounter sometimes the inside group was experiencing no knight spawns after the second phase? Happened to my group quite a few times and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong?
Ok so this keeps getting glossed over in every guide I see and I’m starting to see it be misunderstood in lfg, you MUST send BOTH of your original shapes, you cannot skip a double pass and just pass players the single shape they are missing if you already have one of the shapes you need in an attempt to reduce passes, if you only RECEIVED 1/2 of your ending symbols your key will not be created, 3 of a kind is not just a clean up strat, it is optimal for ensuring all players original starting shapes are cleansed by receiving what is needed in the least amount of easily executable moves
umm yes it was, you’re telling everyone to get to 3/3 in phase one and redistribute in phase 2 which is correct and if people follow the guide to the T they will end up receiving the symbols which correctly cleanses them allowing for the key to be crafted, the steps you provide aren’t the issue. What you and no one else is explaining, and what people are now messing up in lfg, is that receiving your 2 shapes is critical because they think the only requirement is having the 2 opposite shapes and trying to only send the shapes they don’t need directly to who does without trading both of their originals thinking they can skip the simplification assuming it is just to clean up the board leading to one shape not being cleansed and the key not being created. It’s not your fault if people don’t follow the guide properly but this one piece of info would help teams understand why it needs to be done this way and to not try to deviate for the sake of less passes that will fail the run
Insanely based comment. You are absolutely correct. Every single guide I have seen makes no mention of how important phase 1 is. They always say how it makes it "easier" but make zero mention of the second requirement that you can not end on one of your starting symbols. Each person's original 2 symbols need to be swapped at some point before leaving

Yes, this is a misconception that I myself had when I was trying to teach my first group of new raiders this raid. Phase 1: collecting your own symbols is NOT an optional step. If you try to initiate phase 2 right at the start of the encounter without collecting your own symbol first, then even if you do all the swaps correctly and end up with the correct 3D shape, the room will not let you leave. Phase 1 is not a simplification technique for lfg’s or new raiders, it is just a step in how you complete the encounter. It must be done to prevent a wipe.

I think this makes the third encounter much harder than it needs to be. Our teams have cleared it first or second try every time. It's not hard before starting to say which person you are passing with in room 1 2 and 3. It's always two people twice and one person once.

But my problem is I have a problem with mathematics and shapes, so maybe if Bungie would actually help disabled people through the rate because I am a disabled person and I think it at all but I don’t I do not see any kind of way that Bungie is trying to help disabled people get through that raid because I am walking home and it is bullshit because I would love to get some of those beautiful weapons, especially adp weapons
This raid is made for premade fireteams of 6 who know each other. The 4th encounter is just bad, not only do u have to do counter intuitive mechanics, but u have to then memorize ur whole fireteams ghosts and armor. Never will i ever do that encounter again not worth the time spent. Do 1-3 skip 4 and get a witness cp.
How is it stupid? It's literally a dummy proof method that requires very little thinking... get your own then share with the others GG you're done, how is that stupid?

@@TylerJB114 everyone in the solo rooms has to deposit (or switch/send/whatever you want to call it) at least two shapes to be able to leave when everything else is done. Therefore the smart way of doing this encounter is to make exactly two deposits per guardian. And it's always possible no matter the rng, and the only callout needed is to tell the outside trio what 2d shapes are in solo rooms.

Yes mini boss will respawn, but you can easily kill it as a team or just let your teammate who is shooting blights kill it while you head to center

How were you keeping the well, mine broke right after the first attack every time?
Well health is attached to guardian resilience. Use 100 resilience
so all of these I was already doing, except the 2nd encounter thing

I'm confused by what you mean by 'more central set of rooms' on the first encounter. All the rooms each team goes into are side rooms, aren't they?
One team goes into a door from a side of the room, another team goes into a door that opens in the corner of the room.

@sionara1337 how do you think this encounter works? It's the easiest way to actually complete it. The problem is no one actually knows why it's important
@@TylerJB114 everyone in the solo rooms has to deposit (or switch/send/whatever you want to call it) at least two shapes to be able to leave when everything else is done. Therefore the smart way of doing this encounter is to make exactly two deposits per guardian. And it's always possible no matter the rng, and the only callout needed is to tell the outside trio what 2d shapes are in solo rooms.
@@sionara1337 I get that. But how do you plan on telling an LFG how to do that? Do you expect the inside players to figure out what rotation they're on and then do a different swap based on the rotation?
Anyone who says that they can’t play raid’s because they’re solo players are cry babies, get over yourself and just talk to someone, I literally did not play raids until I just went for it, I don’t have that many runs done because of school and only playing on weekends but I make time for a few raids

They definitely raised the bar with this raid. Premades will enjoy it and people that pug are boned
