- Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Salvations Edge Raid - Final Boss Fight "The Witness". Just a video of our first clear of the Salvations Edge Raid on Contest Mode.
Very happy to get this done. We took a big break after the first day, and a few people had to leave during the second. But we got the clear in the end. The raid is brilliant, very well done once again to Bungie. I'll put a full compilation up shortly too.

Verity is actually fairly simple once you understand how each mechanic works and what you're trying to get. I could try explaining if you want
Witness mechanically is simple, it's just damage phase that's gonna suck balls
@@Ramattra567cuz of dodges? They’re not that hard. If you’ve played excision at all, the dodges during DPS are almost identical during excision.

Honestly at this point in Destiny's life I didn't think we'd ever get a raid encounter that was as cool as Riven, glad to see I was finally proven wrong. This looks like the wildest boss encounter I've ever seen in a raid and is a prime example of what has kept players hooked to Destiny for so long. Recently played WoW and went through some raids and none of them compared to how much of a spectacle D2 raids are.
Try spending 10 hours on it. Then you won't find it cool.

There’s a 12 player mission after were you fight them again for the final time. In total the witness has like three different boss fights.

In the last like month gunsmith sold shoot to loot and explosive payload vulpecula... 2 times. Sucks you missed it both times. Lots of channels posted about it when it was there.
Too bad it isn’t craftable. All weapons should be craftable imo.

First off, sick raid! Second idk what machine gun you’re using but it sounds almost like the pkp pecheneg from MW3 (the OG one). Lastly, what’s the point of excursion, if the raid also has the witness? Or was it like a copy in the excursion and the real witness is in the raid?
The 12 player mission happens after the raid. The guardians weaken him and rip his control from the light away in the raid, and the 12player mission is us finishing him

Eso changed his warlock for his hunter, definitely, hunters are meta
all characters are good right now. he just wanted solid damage without having to use any heavy, because his using heavy for add clear. But hunters are very good right now with still hunt.

Easily the hardest raid so far. Ugh, the LFG discord is going to be a mess. "Must have 100 clears, KWTD, must have emblem, will check raid report" followed by kicks a few seconds after you join.
Lmao I'll never understand why ppl hate or clown on those tryna get shit done. U can watch/read guides to kwtd and some ppl really don't wanna waste any time holding someone's hand when there's other lfgs that offer teaching
@@iversityy4566 For a new raid, lfg’ing for ppl that KWTD is fine tbh, that’s understandable. It’s checking ur raid report and wanting multiple clears prior that’s absurd. It just came out, pretty much nobody will have any clears yet. And tens of thousands are trying to get their first clear. Asking for ppl that already have clears should be something done like a week or 2 after, not 2 days after.

Nobody makes an lfg that asks for multiple clears on the 1st day or rn and actually means it💀 and as for how long u should wait to see those lfgs, why is there a "right time" lmao. There are some ppl who learn things within minutes such as myself who are already joining witness kwtd or kick lfgs and we're all doing fine

Because of the perk shoot to loot. you can pick up orbs and ammo by shooting at them.

Where did your team place? I know it was at least in the top 30, but likely a good bit higher than that. Im gonna guess even top 10.

Are titans viable in it ?
I’ve honestly only seen a ton of hunters and 1 warlock for well. I heard aztecross had a Titan on the team, but on contest, it looks like a no mostly.
For contest not optimal but outside contest anything will work
i played titan during the full thing and swapped to hunter during witness.
titan def viable but hunter just cooks currently when it comes to dps, also there are alot of tormentors in this raid and those just die when they meet the goldie
The damage check at witness basically made 4+ Nighthawk Still Hunt Hunters a NECESSITY, which is super lame if you ask me. Hopefully Master mode gives us a challenge while not being so insanely restrictive.
Titans are good up until the Witness; they don't have a decent long range dps super with high dmg. Most teams ended up swapping. Not my boy Cross though, he was tried and true lmao.
