  • While selling a business should be a carefully planned transition, it is unfortunately common for entrepreneurs to sell first and manage the money later. After receiving wealth from selling your practice, what can you do with the money that you get? How will you manage the massive amount of wealth in order to avoid making risky decisions?
This week's The Dave Kittle Show episode, Dave Kittle welcomes back Anthony Maritato. Anthony (Tony) Maritato is a licensed physical therapist and private practice owner since 2001. Tony is the founder of several small businesses which he started from an idea and grew to seven figures before selling them.

-Millions don’t seem that much anymore because of the inflation around us.
-An accredited investor is either an individual whose gross income exceeded 200,000 dollars in each of the last two recent years or a joint income with a spouse or partner exceeding 300,000 dollars for the last two years.
-As a practice owner, you get so hung up on the day-to-day that you forget to appreciate what you’ve got. You should step back, appreciate what you built, and allow yourself to feel good about that.
-Most of our buying decisions are based on our emotions.
-We live in a time where a single individual with no employees can scale a business to a million dollars a year.

As a current physical therapy student and an aspiring clinic owner, this is VERY insightful. It definitely had my wheels turning for future ideas I can adopt into my practice.
So glad I came across this video. I will be subscribing and sharing!

I love this idea! My son has a rotationplasty (RP) and we have to pay extra, OOP, to stay in a hotel in MD for weeks at a time to attend a rehab clinic that has experienced PTs to work with my son. They are experienced here because they are next to the The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics, ILLC at the Sinai Hospital, where doctors are doing RPs weekly to #savealimb. If these PTs had their own channel and I could show our PT at home, who never seen a RP until my son came in their door, THAT WOULD BE AMAZING!

We hope more therapists will take Tony’s lead on this. As you said, by publishing more video content from inside the clinic, it can help a lot of patients/clients and families out there.
