She should have said Jesus was surely tempted to fear, but he did not. He was tempted in all points as we are yet without sin. Jesus said “fear not” and he only said what he heard the Father saying. Jesus would be unjust to give us an instruction we could not carry out. Jesus did not fear because he was perfected in the Father’s love.

      TALKING ABOUT GOD....
      Jesus Christ KNOWS
that the Creator is the True and Sovereign GOD who authorized and sent him from heaven to earth to preach and teach the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead" to imperfect, suffering, and dying human beings
      as written in Matthew 22: 37, John 17: 3, Luke 4: 43, and John 11: 25, 26
TALKING ABOUT the VALUE anf IMPORTANCE of the AUTHORITY snd TEACHINGS of JESUS CHRIST...
      Jesus Christ KNOWS
that submissiveness and obedience of imperfect, suffering, and dying human beings to his authority and teachings about the "Kingdom of God" and "Resurrection of the Dead" as written in Matthew 28: 18, Luke 4: 43, and John 11: 25, 26
      will
definitely bring them honor and the Creator's favor and reward of ETERNAL LIFE and existence without sufferings, pains, griefs, sickness, and death on a safe and peaceful earth without liars, deceivers, perverts, traitors, and murderers as written in Revelation 21: 3, 4, 8.
TALKING ABOUT LIVING and EXISTING on EARTH FOREVER...
      the Creator KNOWS
that all human beings will just become worthless and useless dusts on earth after their deaths just like the animals as written in Ecclesiastes 3: 19, 20 ; 9: 5, 6
      but
all his loving, kind, and respectful worshippers who died recently and thousands of years ago like Abel, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Job, Naomi, Ruth, King David, Jesus Christ's disciples and followers, and many others
will not remain as worthless and useless dusts on earth forever,
      instead,
in the right and proper time and as written in John 11: 25, 26,
he wiill let Jesus Christ RESURRECT them back to life so they can all happily and abundantly live and exist on earth forever as submissive and obedient subjects of the "KINGDOM of GOD" or His Kingdom
and fully enjoy his and his Christ's eternal love, kindness, goodness, compassions, generosities, favors, and blessings for eternity under the the loving and kind rulership, guidance, and protection of Jesus Christ as his Chosen King and Ruler of the heavens and the earth as written in Revelation 11: 15.

We will have to ask God why women can’t preach. The scripture is what says a woman should not be in a leadership role over men and that’s from God not man. Now 100% we may not always understand why that’s the case but if God said it, then it is so. I am a woman and many times ppl have said to me I should preach because I know scripture. But I only know scripture because I study the word and God has given us the Holy Spirit for understanding but that doesn’t mean we should be in a leadership role as a pastor over a church over men. I do believe women play a role in the kingdom of God, I believe we can teach scripture in a Bible study setting but I don’t believe we should lead a church. But let’s face it, some of these men leading in these churches should not be in a leadership role either. If ppl follow the book of Titus on what a pastors role should be, some of these men would be discounted too. God raises true pastors, men choose themselves, and the way we distinguish who is worthy to be a pastor is for us to know scripture so these false teachers can’t deceive us. We should Study the word to show thyself approved, that’s the only way to know the truth is from God’s word.

Amen sister and you’re right not everyone behind the pull pit is called to be a pastor. The people that said you should preach don’t know the Bible. I teach the Bible and people constantly ask me why aren’t I a pastor, and I simply reply because God did not tell me. Like you said I study the Bible like all Christian’s should do because it’s an important part in having a relationship with God. But so many people call themselves Christian’s but never even open up the Bible and may not even be saved it’s sad God bless 🙏🏾💜✝️

@@Xavierdredeuce I pray really hard for ppl to pick up the word and make it a daily part of their life. Lives can’t change with the Spirit of God showing ppl how to change and no one can get this in a 30 to 1 hr sermon once a week. That’s why so many ppl claiming Christ are struggling so hard today because not enough of the word is in them. We just have to keep praying and being a living example and I believe that is what will draw ppl to God’s word (but of course God is the one that draws, we are just part of the tools He used to draw the lost). Some of these churches teaching all of this rhetoric is the very thing making the world not want Jesus.

@@joshuacooperseo Well I will say not all women talk like these ladies (I am one of them), but I wholeheartedly agree that women shouldn’t be pastors over a church. These ppl follow the example of 2 Corinthians 5:12, “that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart.” I believe most of them want you to be seen, but God’s spirit cannot be operating in them when they themselves don’t follow scripture. We have to keep praying for these false teachers to repent and stop allowing all of this nonsense to take place. Yes God allows it, but I know He doesn’t approve of it because all of this madness clearly is going against His word. But scripture has warned us all of these things would take place the closer we get to Jesus’ return. So our duty is to pray and be a living example to others who Jesus Christ really is.

The words I've lived with and by for 58 years from parents raised in the '40s:
11Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. 12But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 15Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
Glad to say the very same words I will happily one day die with. Praise Jesus.

@@ursdoingbus.Godswayare there men in the children’s Sunday school? Is your mom evangelizing the same as a pastor preaching on the pulpit? Women should serve the Lord with submission. Women do not have place in the church to lead or pastor/teach men, or hold authority over men. Women need to sit down and be mothers to their children by teaching them the word of God and serving their husbands. Mothers can teach their sons scriptures but that doesn’t mean they have to go out there and start a church and become pastors. Women have won souls for the Lord everywhere but God’s word is clear on women and their role in a church.

We (generalizing) are always trying to put ourselves on equal footing with God. This is reminiscent of Eve eating of the fruit to “be like God”. These women are trying to humanize Jesus as if He was susceptible to sin as we are so we can be equal to Him. On the series “The Chosen” I believe they’re doing the same: accentuating his humanity so He can appear to be just like us. We must never forget His deity; that while physically on earth was God wrapped in flesh.

Well, Jesus had feelings and emotions just like any other person, He was human. He had ‘fears’ and ‘emotions’ just like anybody else would. But, Jesus ‘overcame’ those fears and emotions by His ‘Faith.’ Because of His faith Jesus overcame discouraging emotions and fears. If Jesus had no fears then He could not ‘relate’ to humans and our characteristics. In the Bible Jesus spoke with God in prayer shedding tears like great drops of blood, asking God to take the ‘cup’ away from Him(Luke 22:42), Jesus at that point experienced fear, however, Jesus overcame that fear by having faith in God.

I'm trying to understand what tempted means. So, temtation is the sin? I'm thinking, temptation is exposure to sin. Just because Jesus exposed to sin, doesn't mean He commited sin. As a man He had access to all emotions, but He didn't have to use them. He could be strong where I would be scared. He could smile, when I would
    cry...

    • @tic8259
      @tic8259 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

I think you are right. Temptation to me is like a road that split into two paths (fork in the road). It presents a challenge but ultimately you CHOOSE which path to take. You can choose to indulge in the temptation (the path that leads to sin) or choose to resist the temptation (the path that leads to holiness). So temptation is not sin. It's how you react to the temptation that can lead to sin.

An example is Hebrews 4:15 "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin."
Jesus was tempted but did not sin.
Also Heb 2:18 "Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted."
Jesus helps us in our weakness (due to temptation).....so we don't have to sin

With Jesus it'd probably be he too could look at a woman and find his creation attractive, but it never follows that next step of desiring to sleep with her! So he could see what we see without ever giving in! That's how I believe he can relate and understand what we go through 🙏🏿

Jesus was tempted in all sin which from my reading of Matthew 4 implies all major categories of sin, which are the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. He passed every temptation that Adam failed. In the garden the fruit was eaten because it was desirable to make one wise (pride of life) it looked good ( lust of the eyes) and it looked tasty (lust of the flesh) these are the same tests in Matthew 4. So it’s not every possible sin it’s every category of sin. The book of John says that those 3 things are all that’s in this world. So it does not mean Jesus endured every sin

I love your channel brother Corey, and I agree with you on many topics, but I would need to respectfully disagree with you ONLY on the point regarding Jesus and the temptations that he faced. According to the Bible, Jesus was tempted in every way that we are, yet he did not sin. If the Bible says every way, I don’t think we can definitely say what he was or wasn’t tempted with because the Bible doesn’t state every temptation that Jesus faced. I believe the Bible is saying that He was tempted with the “normal” temptations that is common to all humans. Hebrews 4:15 says, "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are-yet he did not sin." This means that Jesus experienced all normal human motivations such as hunger, thirst, weariness, sexual desire and loneliness. Being fully God and fully Man, He faced the same kinds of temptations that we face, such as pride, greed, lust, anger, envy, and fear. He probably also faced the unique temptations of his messianic mission, such as using his divine power for selfish purposes, avoiding the cross, or compromising with the world. However, he resisted every temptation by relying on the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and prayer. He showed us how to fight temptation, resist sin, overcome sin and live a holy life. The Bible does record places that describes Jesus’ emotional state. One of the most intense moments of his earthly life was in the Garden of Gethsemane, where he prayed to the Father before his betrayal and crucifixion. The Bible describes his state of mind as “overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death” (Mark 14:34) “in anguish” (Luke 22:44), and “deeply distressed and troubled” (Mark 14:33) Some suggest that he may have even sweated blood, a rare medical condition caused by extreme stress or anxiety.

The take my cup from me line that Jesus said could be that he didn’t fear the actual crucifixion but he cup he’s referring to is the cup of inequity which is Fathers wrath, I don’t think it was the physical pain he feared but part of his wrath is the absence of his presence and since he loves Father so much that it was something he wanted the cup taken from him

I mean what happened in the garden when Jesus was sweating blood and praying that if it possible that the cup could be taken away; was that fear? But I know that he also said that if it be the Father’s will he obeyed and went to the cross. I’m lost on this. Thoughts?

I think when the Bible says that Jesus was tempted in every way, is for me implying that he was tried in every way because to feel temptation the Bible said that we are tempted by the lust of our own heart so obviously Jesus won't have any lust in his heart so when it says that he was tempted in every way to me I see that as he is he has been tried in every way but not feeling the temptation of any of those trials... For the Bible also says that God can't be tempted nor does he tempt anyone but everyone is tempted when he is drawn away by the lust of his own heart. Sorry I repeated this in two different forms lol

Wait wait wait, let’s put the lady to the side as 1 Timothy clearly addresses that. I want to address the Jesus temptation issue. I DO believe the Text means He was tempted similar to the post 40/40 fast attempt by the devil where Jesus resisted. I believe the period not covered of His life in the Bible is when almost all this other temptation happened. We know that The Word says we war not with flesh & blood. Given that, it stands to reason that the spirits of lust, fear, murder, lying, sin etc. tempted Jesus AND He resisted it ALL! Remember, it's not the being tempted that's sin, it's the giving IN to it! BOTH sin AND death tempted Jesus...neither one stuck THAT'S why HE, and by the transitive property like in math of grace, WE have THE VICTORY!!! 😁🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

      It's a wrong view.
There are scriptures that indicate Jesus became fearful.
On the night of his arrest, the scriptures indicate he was in anguish over what he would suffer. They also reveal he was in such agony that angels came to strengthen him. Moreover, his sweat became as drops of blood and the most reasonable or likely cause of his Hematohidrosis was psychogenic.
      *_LUKE 22:42-44_*
That means he was under so much STRESS about being out to death in that manner and possibly dying as a convicted criminal it caused the rare condition.
The scriptures also state that Jesus was TROUBLED and the Greek term includes to be fearful or dreadful.
      *_JOHN 12:27_*
I’m guessing since you all are redefining Jesus’ manhood we should all act as if he never cried too.

I understand, but at the same time calling someone a stupid Christian doesn't show humility. You can disagree that's fine. But not everything is black and white. There are certain nuances in everything. When we talk about Jesus being truly/fully man can we assume that he went through puberty? Although the text is silent on that. The text is silent on alot of things. If Corey has all knowledge on how the hypostatic union works then Amen to him.

It is my position that what I heard her say that was absolutely wrong is that Jesus was living in a human body.
Demons lived in human bodies through possession.
Jesus WAS a human. Jesus didn't reside in a human body like he was possessing a husk or outer shell body.
Jesus was a human being. He was a mortal man which is how he could DIE.
If Jesus wasn't mortal and didn't die then no one has salvation through his sacrificial death. If he never died then he was never resurrected.

MANY, MANY have miscontrued this scripture of women speaking in the church. MANY have taken it out of context/misinterpreted it. Yes, even you, Corey. It's NOT that women should NOT speak in the church. It's that ANY PERSON who speaks for God should be led by the HOLY SPIRIT. There were many women who LED in the Bible, by the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT and some, because the MEN would NOT do what God called them to do. This woman here is CLEARLY TWISTING THE SCRIPTURES, and that's a NO, NO.
    A little history..
Back in Paul's time, women used to sit separately from the men when they gathered together to hear God's word. The reason was to keep intimate relationships from forming between them. Also, while separated from the men, women would yell out during the service, across the aisle, asking their husbands/men questions of what they did not understand, interrupting the entire service. This is why Paul said for the women to ask (her husband) questions at home. Nowadays, there is no need for that because anyone who is willing to follow Jesus can accept the Lord and his Holy Spirit and be lead by him so that there is no need for a woman to go home and ask her husband. She can seek the Lord and when she comes to present a word from the Lord, she is LEAD by the HOLY SPIRIT. She would NOT be up there talking FOOLISHNESS.
    Be blessed by these words.
To God be the Glory ❤.
