I've struggled to understand why they don't see anything wrong with this, but when you are not operating in the call of God in your life, this is what it can lead to.They should not be in the pulpits trying to lead anyone, this is bringing negativity to the church, and they can't see it.

I listen to you all the time, I don’t always agree, but I absolutely agree with you. This is not the way holiness looks like. The Bible say the saints will judge the world. Misery loves company. Thank you Cori we have to be the salt of the world and look at the cities where the church is weakening. The cities are starting to rot with crime, homosexuality, same sex partners, disorderly teens. I could keep going. We are supposed to hold the church and members accountable. You see obedience is better than sacrifice. These folks need to repent the world is laughing at Christianity. But the Bible tells us people will be begging to Hear the Word of God it will be hard to find because when God wants something hidden no one will find it. Judgement so Cori God is hiding His word from these Egotistical so called preacher, decons and these churches that love giving themselves titles, positions to exalt there self to be comfortable in there sin....

As followers of jesus, we are constantly to be growing in some things and out of other things. There will not be any secular artist for music in happen. Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is I heaven. 1 Peter 4:17-19 judgment MUST begin at the house of God. I too agree that just because you are gifted in one area does not mean that you are to pastor a church.

Scripture instructs us to do everything to the glory of God, yet pastors like Haddon and Murphy make church about us. There is no "special ministry" given by God that nurtures self-indulgence! God seeks those who worship Him in spirit and truth. A New Year's Eve church gathering should be centered around engaging in activities of worship--singing, praying, and hearing teaching that renews our minds and inspire our hearts to abide in faith, hope and love while diffusing the fragrance of the knowledge of Christ wherever we find ourselves in the upcoming year. The carnally-minded continually seek after RELEVANCE for self while the spiritually-minded true worshipper desires REVERENCE for God. If our goal is merely to keep our minds entertained while exciting our flesh then we might as well stay home and worship ourselves! Our focus when gathering for times of worship should be to excite the pleasure of God.
