I think the problem is she claims God called her to be a Pastor, yet she seems so lackadaisical about God's Word in Revelations. God will equip every Pastor he calls to teach every book in the bible. She called herself to be a Pastor, that's her issue.

No. It is a right decision. We must know what we say. She can say, that there are 1.000 oppinions about the end times. And probably more. And she can and may list some or several or all of them. But if she says: „I am for 366, but 777 has a point too.“ Or „In the premillenial dispensionalism is very sexy, that you can take very many things very wordly and exact, but…“ Then she would be a religious agnostic. Granted, Revelation is a wild beast of a book, open to many interpretations. However if a "pastor" refuses to even speak on it to me that to me is going against Deut 4:2 and Revelation 22:18-19. Sure, the book isnt physically being removed. But it is being omitted.

I used to be an avid follower of JM and I was a ministry partner. I'm really disappointed in her and I pray she repents. If she has the nerve to ask for money to support her "ministry" she needs to do her part and STUDY to show herself approved so she can rightly divide the word of truth. But then again she ain't supposed to be a pastor/evangelist over men anyways. And yes I said ain't!
The Orthodox have even more books than the Catholics . . . but they also tend to avoid teaching Revelation. (That's why Revelation has no Greek majority text: if you don't use it much, you don't copy it much!)

I am not a follower of Joyce Meyer, but I think you need to know that she is not a Pastor. She is a teacher. There is a difference. Now, I don't say that to from that vantage point of should women preach/teach or not. I am just pointing that out. Joyce Meyer isn't a Pastor, and I am confident she would tell you she isn't as well. Secondly, I have no problem with anyone, man or woman, who feels that it is best for them not to preach or teach on a book of the Bible or a Bible topic that they do not believe they understand well enough. Those who minister the Word have a grave responsibility to teach people correctly. I have been a Christian for nearly 44 years, and have been a pastor and currently have a teaching ministry. I have many topics I teach on, but there are some things I don't teach on (I may down the road) and that's Okay, because there are other people who are better qualified in those areas than I am. Again, you have a good ministry, but be careful not to fall into the trap of needing to come up with content, which is what this video feels like (more content). I hope you hear my heart and I wish you nothing but the best as you share God's Word.
For the most part, I agree with you. However: 1) there is NO difference between a pastor and a teacher. They are one and the same office- the language refers to them as pastor-teacher. So if she is a pastor, she automatically becomes a teacher too. 2) while those who are asked to help with Bible studies or small groups’ lessons may not have as much knowledge as the shepherd, and therefore would not understand as much, that doesn’t fly for the head. A Pastor ought to have very solid knowledge of all major doctrines and teachings of Scripture. That’s why Christ (through Paul) handed down the criteria an elder ought to meet, among which is the “ab(ility) to teach.” Joyce can’t get away from that unfortunately. And we ought to hold her and others like her with strict accountability.

You don't have to be a Pastor to be able to teach the Bible, otherwise everyone in the world who teaches the Bible on TH-cam, Facebook, in Sunday School, with a blog, and in every other setting would be a Pastor, and you that is not the case. To put my response in perspective l think there are certain fundamentals we must address: 1. Does JM believe in the infallibility of the word of God in 2 Tim? 2. Does JM believe in the REALITIES of the book of REVELATION? 3. Prompted by the Holy Spirit, has JM EVER referenced the book of REVELATION in ANY of her messages spanning over 5 decades? 4. It may interest you to know, I think you already know this, JM has a study bible that includes the BOOK of REVELATION. Surprised? Jesus warned us these things would happen before He returned, and we are seeing these things happening now, so the time is growing short. Why shouldn’t a pastor say, “I don’t teach on anything I don’t know anything about?” What i could take from that is humility as opposed to the arrogance of some teaching what they do not know because what is left is an opportunity to learn and THEN be equipped to properly exegete the text.

Most that teach Revelation teach it incorrectly by add to or taking away from the book and there is a curse for doing that. Such things like the pretribulation rapture, which is fallacious. 1) there is NO difference between a pastor and a teacher. They are one and the same office- the language refers to them as pastor-teacher. So if she is a pastor, she automatically becomes a teacher too.
2) while those who are asked to help with Bible studies or small groups’ lessons may not have as much knowledge as the shepherd, and therefore would not understand as much, that doesn’t fly for the head. A Pastor ought to have very solid knowledge of all major doctrines and teachings of Scripture. That’s why Christ (through Paul) handed down the criteria an elder ought to meet, among which is the “ab(ility) to teach.” Joyce can’t get away from that unfortunately. And we ought to hold her and others like her with strict accountability.

You don't have to be a Pastor to be able to teach the Bible, otherwise everyone in the world who teaches the Bible on TH-cam, Facebook, in Sunday School, with a blog, and in every other setting would be a Pastor, and you that is not the case. It is, for want of a better word, quite refreshing, like an oasis in the desert, to know that in the great apostasy that is sweeping through the US, God still has a remnant. Regardless of what our biases towards Joyce Meyer, I hold that your interpretation of THIS MESSAGE is, respectfully, off the mark.
I usually desist from drawing up inferences from abridged messages. It is likely the content creator extracts a part that supports a pre-established, subjectively opinion and then seeks to communicate same by a distortion.
To put my response in perspective l think there are certain fundamentals we must address:
1. Does JM believe in the infallibility of the word of God in 2 Tim?
2. Does JM believe in the REALITIES of the book of REVELATION?
3. Prompted by the Holy Spirit, has JM EVER referenced the book of REVELATION in ANY of her messages spanning over 5 decades?
4. Does JM believe, particularly in the RAPTURE of rhe SAINTS, the SECOND RETURN of CHRIST, the ETERNAL DAMNATION of Satan, Demons and Sinners, the MILLENNIAL REIGN of Christ, REWARD for Overcomer? Etc. ( These are fundamental doctrines espoused in REVELATION).
Corey, if you have studiously followed the teachings of JM you'd admit without hesitation that the answer to these questions, and more, are in the affirmative.
Therefore, if the response is affirmative does it not contradict what this abridged clip seeks to portray?
And for the avoidance of doubt, her position on the second coming of Christ is unequivocal, "BE PREPARED". Don't get carried away with postulations as to the proprieties of times; Pre-tribulation, 'In-tribulations, Post-Tribulations etc.
Finally, I also think you misconstrued her "I don't understand" to mean, "I don't read and therefore CAN'T teach". Your interpretation, respectfully, is in error. JM has taught extensively on the end times. (You can check her videos on the subject matter. A few will suffice here: Are we in the END TIMES and, I think thories on the END TIMES). It may interest you to know, I think you already know this, JM has a study bible that includes the BOOK of REVELATION. Surprised?
Here are my final thoughts, I think, its fair l am allowed to hold an opinion that strongly differs from everyone's, JM has a wonderful Christ-centered ministry that's a blessing to MILLIONS around the world. I also think, given your first and second videos that God has called you as a remnant to address the malaise in the body of Christ. EVERYONE WORKING TO EDIFY THE BODY!

Do I believe we are in the time of His return? When Israel became a nation again in May 1948, to me this signaled the beginning of the last Abrahamic generation which is 100 years (Abraham was 100 when Isaac was born). I remember a book entitled "88 Reasons Why Jesus Is Coming Back in 1988". I bought and read this book, but did not take it seriously because I believed it was the Abrahamic generation of 100 years Jesus was referring to because He was talking to His disciples who at the time were all Jews. Since then many false prophets have come up with other dates, but so far none have panned out.
Jesus said all these end times events would happen in this last generation, so expect increase and intensity in BAD weather and natural disasters, wickedness, sexual immortality, and world wide epidemics, economic collapse and food shortages resulting in inflation, wars and rumors of wars. Jesus warned us these things would happen before He returned, and we are seeing these things happening now, so the time is growing short. But Jesus said we are not to fear these things, but to look up for your salvation draws nigh. He is able to keep us until the day He calls us home. Will He come in 2048 or even sooner? Even though He might tarry so that the full number of Gentiles are brought into the fold, do not grow weary in doing good and remain true to your calling. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

The Holy Spirit will teach you how to understand it; I understood The Book of Revelation at a very young age; I simply ask GOD for wisdom; I began having a thirst for knowledge, which led me to wisdom.
I know quite a few worldly preachers who in 55 years never teach or preach Revelation. That's because their heaven is here and now.

Now one thing about the author of Revelation, not only was he a disciple of Christ he agreed with the teaching of Jesus that The Sabbath was made for all human beings before the very existence of sin (Mark 2: 27 and 28) and it's this brother's considered view that unless The Sabbath is accepted and understood as Christ The Lord and Creator intended The Sabbath to be no one will ever appreciate the last book of Revelation in all its fullness and so Joyce being not a Sabbath observer could never fully understand The Revelation of Jesus Christ unless she was willing to become a Sabbath observer as Jesus intended all human beings to observe The Sabbath of The Lord in the first place.

I have a friend that went to an Evangelical free church for five years, he personally told me the pastor would not teach in the book of Revelation. The pastor admitted he didn't understand it. So yes it happens.
