As a millennial, it took me a while to sift through all the seeker-friendly hyper-grace churches with their cotton candy doctrine and weak Bible teaching (at best) to finally reach a point of understanding how to read and study scripture in its proper historical context, which was a game-changer for me. That’s what made the Bible relevant and alive. But… my heart was also converted by then, and hungering for this truth. If you’re not hungering for truth, all the sales strategies and efforts to acquiesce will not matter.

Many people who go to church are not saved. Our job is to proclaim the gospel and the Spirit will convict of sin and draw folk to Christ.

We’re living in the book of Judges. “Everyone did what was right in their own eyes.” There’s definitely a “spirit” of relativistic thinking.

About 30 years ago I walked into the living room just in time to hear a man on a religious program say, “leaders need to realize that the churches is a business and they need to treat it as such.“
For many, he won that argument because we see the state of what some call church in some parts of America and Europe.
30 years later we have this woman and her foolishness, but here’s what I intend to do as a member of the real body of Christ, I’m going to remain ROOTED in the word of God and not cater to those who don’t even want God. I will not compromise to make the Word palatable for sin. Contrary to her beliefs, the church is not getting smaller, It’s just that her lies are getting bigger. Unfortunately, some think Christianity is tied only to America and Europe, but when Elijah said ‘I’m the only prophet left, God quickly set him straight on the remnant. I’ve traveled to other countries, and I keep track of God’s movements in other places. Trust me, people will soon be making missionary pilgrimage to America in order to bring us back to the true and living Word. Many think that Jezebel is about sexuality and wearing red, but Jezebel is about usurping authority, deception and disobedience.

My uncle was a Bishop in our organization. (He passed away) His children are 80's babies. Except one he's a 90's baby. Young people draw young people. Young people where always coming to his church and receiving the Holy Ghost. And my uncle preached there's a Heaven to gain and a He'll to shun. He preached fire and brimstone. He never let down his standard!

Amen...the goal is always to spread the gospel in hopes that unbelievers will feel convicted of their sins and surrender their life to Christ and believe he died for them to be saved from the wrath of an Holy God..not condone their bad behavior and their sins and allow them to remain comfortable in their lifestyle..if doing so we are no better than them..the word of God is a double edged sword that convicts and saves not condone and makes one feel comfortable in their sin! Lord I pray for this woman because many lost and deceived people will applaud her efforts for what she's saying! God said his people perish from a lack of knowledge! Get in the word and learn whom God is for yourself and he will unveil himself to you instead of listening to all these false teachers..because once you know who God is for yourself you can easily spot unclean spirits and things that's not of God or biblically sound!

Yes, the WORD does need to be made applicable to ppls lifes today. However, this does NOT mean we change the context of the word itself. Example the Word says we are to leave an inheritance. You may not create an entire message series but you can create a program that gives ppl access to financial advisors.
We are to visit those in prisons, we can push the congregation to spread the gospel there for those willing to receive it.
We have to remember the church’s job is NOT to save (everyone) the purpose of the church is to preach the same 2000 year old gospel to as many as we can so that the few that God had appointment to be called out of their sin may be saved.
