Especially since they've announced another, they're stories that needed some serious dusting off. Feels like literal empires have risen and fallen since I've played these. 😂

Fable 2 is my favorite of the franchise and the best one in my opinion. More customization, better art design, more options overall for role-playing. I spent HOURS playing this when I was younger.
For me, the change to the combat annoyed me. The removal of spells and how the new magic system made the spells play mostly the same bugged me. I also didn’t like not being able to strafe while using ranged weapons.
2 was always my favorite as well. The first game was meh to me, mostly because I actually followed it pre-release, and heard all of Molyneux bullshit hype, and was both naive, and the games industry was early enough, that I believed it. So Fable 1 was very underwhelming. 2 was at least a fun game in its own right... 3 was once again very underwhelming. I never quite understood why Fable 1 is remembered so fondly and 2 isn't... Honestly, I think it's nostalgia goggles. Now I'm not saying Fable 1 was bad, merely that it's not the masterpiece some treat it as, nor is Fable 2 the travesty those drunk on nostalgia act it to be.
Another interesting story detail, honestly a borderline easteregg, is that when Lucien shoots you the second time and you're in the childhood sequence (what I call purgatory) Rose makes some comments that hint at the origin of you and Rose. I can't find it and I don't have time to go back and play through just to find it again, but Rose mentions your parents are on a trip and that there are bandits on the road to Bowerstone but that your dad will probably be able to handle them, or something along those lines. To boil down this little conspiracy theory, you, Rose, and your parents used to live on a farm outside of Bowerstone, but on a routine trip your parents were murdered by bandits and never came home, leaving Rose and Sparrow orphaned and forced to make their way to Bowerstone to survive, likely being taken there by the Gypsy's who travel through Bower lake and occasionally let the two stay with them during the winter. The detail that I really like about this is that it's totally possible that the bandits that killed our parents were Thag and his men, and if this theory is taken to it's logical end, that means that our first mission in Fable II was inadvertently avenging our parents, and that's my head canon regardless. If I end up going back to find her comments I'll edit this comment with her exact quotes
Dude I’ve played and replayed fable 2 a billion times and never thought about that. I always looked at that as a dream sequence brought on by the music box or tower. You had a chance to live in a perfect life where you weren’t orphaned. I never thought, “hey. Maybe this WAS your childhood at one point.”
Theresa used to be part of a bandit camp, it's possible it was her gang that killed your parents. She plays both sides of the story. She tells lucien where to find rose and sparrow, she informs him of where to find hammer and consequently causes the abbots death so hammer has a reason to become the hero of strength. This is all so she can get the spire.

What really hurt me in choosing Sacrifice is finding my dog's gravesite with the inscription on a tombstone that reads: "He died as he lived -- by your side." So sad that I HAD to choose Love.
Great video! :) 2 things: 1: you can actually resurrect your dog with one of the DLC. Kind of ruins the main ending, but yeah. 2: in the town with the Arena, you can actually give Barnum 5k gold as an investment before the prison quest. When you get back, the town is heavily expanded and you get extra gold back
I cannot explain how influential the fable franchise was in my childhood. I played them sooo many times as a child and even replayed recently and still enjoyed it just as much. Fable 2 was definitely my favourite, it was a fun and accessible game that had a really fun and vibrant stylistic world that i love. It will always be the most nostalgic and beloved franchise for me and im really keen to see if the new game captures the old magic, i will legit buy an xbox just to play the new one if its good.
Despite it's flaws, which are numerous, Fable II is a criminally underrated game/RPG in it's own right. It was charm incarnate and had some of the most beautiful and original game environments of it's generation. Still waiting for a PC port and some mods to iron out all the flaws!
This game did the best job at emotional investment. I was sad to see Hammer go at the end. I was sad when Rose died, and hated Lucien. I was actually worried when I read the note when she resurrected. My dog being shot bothered me. The whole thing was good at this. Of all the Fable games, II was my absolute favorite.
I hated the dog my entire first play through. Annoying barky animal. I spent quite some time playing post game without the dog and came across a demon door that requires you to do a series of dog tricks and it brings back the ghost of your dog. He’s happy to see you. I swear to god it broke my damn heart seeing the spirit of the dog I hated, the dog that sacrificed its life for me, come back into reality for a moment just to help me again. I was amazed that I was moved. I hung out by the demon door for a while just to spend time with him again. Every playthrough afterwards you can bet the dog got fancy collars, fully trained, and I’d play ball with him. Yes I would throw the ball off of cliffs, but that still counts.
You know son, I've got a lot of fond memories of this game. It was the first time I have ever played an evil character as a first play trough, roleplaying the protagonist as a little girl who's mind and moralities are broken after losing her sister (and banging her head falling from a tower) and decided to never, ever do anything for anybody other then herself. It's hilarious the extent this game rewards you for being a complete meanie head, haven't touched the game in more then a decade but I still grin thinking of farting, laughing and middle finger...ing in the face of the starving prisoners in the spire begging for food. Good times. And good video son, I'm proud of you 👍
Man. I’m 34 years old so for me fable 2 is super special to me. I think it was Xbox 360 2008? And even more special was the initial fable on Xbox. I may go thru a glory run of all these old games that made my childhood. Ahh I’m almost crying 😢
Fable 2 is a game that will always stick with me. I played it as a child, and found the game to be fantastic and bright just as I found it almost scary, especially the second half. The game starts so bright in the first half, but just keeps getting greyer and greyer in the second, really made the consequences feel dire. I also cannot forget when I played it when I was older, had a child in game for the first time, and upon returning to them in the second half of the game I was greeted by their pleas to not leave them again. No other game ever made me feel the emotions Fable 2 was capable of making me feel.
trivia.. at the evil temple, the eating of crunchy chicks is a homage to an exploit where you needed to show an evil act to a demon door. you could trick the game by opening your inventory, and eating 5 crunchy chicks.. worth -5 alignment each, to a total of 25 which was on par with murder.. this was also referenced in fable 3 as you attacked by evil chickens
I tried so hard to be evil in this game to see the differences, but I never could. Even now I can't bring myself to be evil in a playthrough. I love everyone in these games so much. That said, just because I always end up being good doesn't mean I don't hoe around with half the town while I save up for a nice house so I can wife the furniture store shopkeeper
This is my favourite Fable game. Still hoping it eventually gets a PC release. Vortex spell (tornado) was great to pick up and hold enemies while you then pop them with gunshots.
I would frequently become the chaos wizard/bard, decked out with a Flying V lute and leather jacket. Making bandits throw up and clean their own vomit while I’m dishing up sick jams on there buddies.

If you wanted to go full magic (without time slow cheese) you could make use of the summon spell for free meat shields, the tornado spell, or the force push. I actually didn’t bother with time slow in my magic play through. If you didn’t you should really try the summon spell out. It doesn’t just summon the little dudes. It summons the recently deceased prioritizing the most powerful first. Having a squad of balverine ghosts is just easy mode.
Little minor correction, If you play Fable: The Journey you learn the real reason why Theresa lived so long was because she tried to use The Spire and it didn't work as intended. She was using Sparrow and Lucien to rebuild and restore the mana of the Spire.
Man this looks so much smoother playing it on backwards compat. A few years ago I had a craving to replay this game and bought an old 360, felt like the game chugged along at 20fps most of the time
I think my only issue with your thoughts on the good-evil system is how you’re always looking for a reason for something to happen. I think that’s the point of the evil play through in this game, you do evil things for no reason other than because you’re bad. There doesn’t need to be ulterior motives like trying to get power or revenge. There’s just evil people in the world, it’s how it works
I love both 1 & 2. One was a ground-breaker and number two was probably the most rounded and well-thought-out sequals of all time. Didn't like three as it felt too limiting - plus I didn't like the setting. The only thing missing is an anniversary version of two. Surprised they haven't milked that cash cow yet.
3 had issues, but I felt it did some good things. The Road to Rule system may have been limiting, but it made the combat more difficult. Especially on the PC versions hard mode. The co-op was also much better IMO. The story was also the best imo as it avoided being a copy while doing something new. Also they didn’t overdo the bloom lighting and the framerate felt more stable. Unfortunately, everything else is a step down.
I love your videos so much. I tend to listen to these type of things during my job, which is long haul stuff. Just letting you know your work is appreciated and will rewatch these dozens of times before the end of the year.

I remember earning millions of gold just doing the blacksmithing mini game. Then proceeded to buy every property earning tons of money passively. Good times.

I feel like Fable 2 is a victim of the realization that because 90% of the players will do a good playthrough on their first run, the studio, with it's finite resources, will invest a lot more in to the good path than the evil one because that's what the producers would demand from a business prespective.

When I first completed Fable 1, I thought it would be cheeky to take the Sword of Aeons and simply walk out with it instead of fulfilling the prophecy and killing the sister. But the game didn't stop me. I kept the sword and my sister. In theory, Fable II canonized this third outcome.
I'm replaying the series. I'm currently in the middle of 2. These games will always hold a special place in my heart and childhood. Despite all the disappointments
Good work son, great video. Fable 2 is my favorite fable game, so many things I love about it. The setting, the jank, the choices being more gray and of course the spire sequence is by far one of my favorite “you won’t be back for a while” quests in a game. Loved seeing Lucian being midway through his quest just like you to see how far both have come but not quite ready to settle the score.
My mom always tells me about how at one point while I was playing this game, I kept swearing at the screen because this woman wouldn't stop following me around I said her full name aloud I wasn't allowed to play the game for some time after that I have no memory of this, but she keeps insisting it happened. The only reason I believe her was because I know now that there are "adult entertainers" in Bloodstone, a concept I wasn't familiar with when I was 8 (I'm pretty sure I was doing an evil playthrough so it could've been Olde Town I guess)
I remember this game when I was younger. one of the first 360 games I played and I loved it. I would love to go back. It was one in my youth that made me question what is right and the ending. Oh man I remember being upset from it. But I could not be selfish in replacing what was lost.

I genuinely love Fable: Lost Chapters and Fable II so much. I'm currently working on converting the aspects of both into a dungeons and Dragons type table top game. Where the campaigns take place after FLC and essentially rewriting the future where the Guild didn't burn down. And the Gods: Avo and Skorm were once human who ascended Godhood. Avo a Paladin of Light and Skorm a Tyrant who enjoyed killing.

Great video, I'm excited to watch the third later today :) And about the "Evil Char punish the dog" part, my take is: An evil person don't see themselves as evil. They think they are right in their ways and everyone else is just wrong. So if the dog is helping you out, it makes no sense for you to punish it. It makes much more sense (at least to me) to praised the dog, since it is helping furthering your(evil) goals.

I even pre ordered it as a kid back in the day and got the special edition dvd with the dev dairy in it, i'd watch that thing for hours on end. I always enjoy the property management side of fable. Although the first game did lead the player into slaughtering whole towns just to buy up the property and then using your I'll gotten gains to donate at the temple and become holy once again...
I decided to replay Fable 2 months ago and it was really fun to look back on childhood memories and being more interested in the lore aspect. My fighting strategy now that I’m older is to spawn in those ghost/familiar things and while my enemies were distracted, charge my skill attack and kill them.
I may have truly spent more time on Fable II than I have any other game. It was incredible. Fable III is probably the biggest personal letdown I've ever experienced in gaming. I can't wait to watch your video on it and better understand what happened.
I also named my character Blade. He spent his life helping people, lowering prices for the businesses and homes he owned, and chose Sacrifice. His story ends after he moves into Castle Fairfax and gets married to a woman named Catherine.

I just recently bought a series s for that very reason, along with the new fable coming out sometime in the future. I’d highly recommend it especially since all fables are on gamepass 👍🏻
To me, Fable 2 was the best of the games. I liked the first one but Fable 2 irons out some of the things that made me dread certain missions in Fable 1. I liked the sometimes grey moral choices, I wasn't going in to be good or evil, just to make personal choices for every situation, and it works. The eerie farm dream at the end of the main quest or even the demon door with the winter house works very well for me, the atmosphere can really be on point in this game! The NPC characters are good, even side quest characters like Chesty, and I enjoyed the increase in character customisation. This is the Fable I keep coming back to, that I still play from time to time, It's been years since I touched Fable 1 and I haven't played 3 since it came out...
I know that folks love Fable 1 but I can't imagine a Fable game without a dog! Hence the reason I've played Fable 2 at least 10 times. Maybe I'll play it one day though.

Theresa felt severely underused in Fable 3, so the feelings are either annoyed with her for not being honest with you like she was your parent in 2 or "why are you even here, T?"
I must say despite the first one being the best for me because of the nostalgia Effect it has for me i must say Part 2 is for me the best playwise and Storywise. The ranting the fighting the quest everything is so great.

The colours in Fable 2 correspond to the buttons used for attacking. I guess they thought it makes more sense to have strength to be blue, since you press the blue button to do strength stuff and the red button to do will stuff.
Simply color correspondence with the controller. 😒 Yeah, I thought it was kinda lame to not keep Strength coded red and Will blue. This is one of the things I didnt like about Fable 2, even if its nitpicky.
I spent two hours trying to kill the final boss with my fire will that I had put all of my skills into only to realize they wanted me to use lightning when the game glitched and no one would continue with their lines. I didn't play again for a while. 😂

I love the Fable series for the sole purpose of Character creation that evolves your character throughout the entire playthrough, in every Fable game ive done multiple playthroughs, making Strength only, Skill only, Will only characters with different moral compasses An evil fire only Pyromancer hero in Fable 2 who didnt care about money or fame but only cared about burning the world down, unbiasedly killing both the innocent and the guilty, the horns and red will lines fit this character perfectly. A rich, greedy, pompous, uncaring, regal, Reaver type pistol only Skill hero in Fable 3 who's whole purpose in life is to live for himself and himself alone An all good Skill only rifle wielding Ranger who lived among the Gypsies in Fable 2 rescuing innocents from bandits and monsters An all evil bandit clan leader who didnt use weapons, only his fists and sheer strength to murder innocents, kill an endless army of guards and hulk out using specific strength enhancing magic in Fable 1 (this was by far the hardest playthrough) A Strength only Great hammer male Bandit leader who's moral system is mostly good but hes also corrupt, focusing on destroying other bandit clans and leaving innocents alone but hes a womanizer, alcoholic who jacks up the rent prices for max gold in Fable 2 An all good Will user in Fable 3 who lived among the nomads, living a simple life in the snowy mountains as the guardian of the mountains The character archetypes you can make in these games are pretty much endless, giving so much game replayability and adds challenge in each playthrough, its great fun!

In the game if you let lucien monologue at the end Reaver will shoot him. also on knothole island DLC if you look at the graveyard. you can bring back your dog.
About the experience-orb gathering, I figured it would be like taking a breather after a fight to concentrate on the things that happened and how they could be improved. Could be done while jogging too, I guess.

Great video! :) 2 things:
1: you can actually resurrect your dog with one of the DLC. Kind of ruins the main ending, but yeah.
2: in the town with the Arena, you can actually give Barnum 5k gold as an investment before the prison quest. When you get back, the town is heavily expanded and you get extra gold back
If you don't get the dlc you can still visit your dog through one of the demon doors
I cannot explain how influential the fable franchise was in my childhood. I played them sooo many times as a child and even replayed recently and still enjoyed it just as much. Fable 2 was definitely my favourite, it was a fun and accessible game that had a really fun and vibrant stylistic world that i love. It will always be the most nostalgic and beloved franchise for me and im really keen to see if the new game captures the old magic, i will legit buy an xbox just to play the new one if its good.
Despite it's flaws, which are numerous, Fable II is a criminally underrated game/RPG in it's own right. It was charm incarnate and had some of the most beautiful and original game environments of it's generation. Still waiting for a PC port and some mods to iron out all the flaws!
I doubt we will see a PC port of this game.
This game did the best job at emotional investment. I was sad to see Hammer go at the end. I was sad when Rose died, and hated Lucien. I was actually worried when I read the note when she resurrected. My dog being shot bothered me. The whole thing was good at this. Of all the Fable games, II was my absolute favorite.
I'm still salty you never get to see Rose again if you choose to bring her back to life
I hated the dog my entire first play through. Annoying barky animal. I spent quite some time playing post game without the dog and came across a demon door that requires you to do a series of dog tricks and it brings back the ghost of your dog. He’s happy to see you. I swear to god it broke my damn heart seeing the spirit of the dog I hated, the dog that sacrificed its life for me, come back into reality for a moment just to help me again. I was amazed that I was moved. I hung out by the demon door for a while just to spend time with him again.
Every playthrough afterwards you can bet the dog got fancy collars, fully trained, and I’d play ball with him. Yes I would throw the ball off of cliffs, but that still counts.
You know son, I've got a lot of fond memories of this game.
It was the first time I have ever played an evil character as a first play trough, roleplaying the protagonist as a little girl who's mind and moralities are broken after losing her sister (and banging her head falling from a tower) and decided to never, ever do anything for anybody other then herself. It's hilarious the extent this game rewards you for being a complete meanie head, haven't touched the game in more then a decade but I still grin thinking of farting, laughing and middle finger...ing in the face of the starving prisoners in the spire begging for food. Good times.

Man. I’m 34 years old so for me fable 2 is super special to me. I think it was Xbox 360 2008? And even more special was the initial fable on Xbox. I may go thru a glory run of all these old games that made my childhood. Ahh I’m almost crying 😢
Fable 2 is a game that will always stick with me. I played it as a child, and found the game to be fantastic and bright just as I found it almost scary, especially the second half. The game starts so bright in the first half, but just keeps getting greyer and greyer in the second, really made the consequences feel dire.
I also cannot forget when I played it when I was older, had a child in game for the first time, and upon returning to them in the second half of the game I was greeted by their pleas to not leave them again. No other game ever made me feel the emotions Fable 2 was capable of making me feel.
trivia.. at the evil temple, the eating of crunchy chicks is a homage to an exploit where you needed to show an evil act to a demon door. you could trick the game by opening your inventory, and eating 5 crunchy chicks.. worth -5 alignment each, to a total of 25 which was on par with murder..
this was also referenced in fable 3 as you attacked by evil chickens

I tried so hard to be evil in this game to see the differences, but I never could. Even now I can't bring myself to be evil in a playthrough. I love everyone in these games so much. That said, just because I always end up being good doesn't mean I don't hoe around with half the town while I save up for a nice house so I can wife the furniture store shopkeeper

This is my favourite Fable game. Still hoping it eventually gets a PC release. Vortex spell (tornado) was great to pick up and hold enemies while you then pop them with gunshots.
I would frequently become the chaos wizard/bard, decked out with a Flying V lute and leather jacket. Making bandits throw up and clean their own vomit while I’m dishing up sick jams on there buddies.
I was at the store the MORNING this game dropped. Played it so so much and loved the world.

You can ressurect your dog on knothole island. At the Cheeters Krypt. So you can pick sacrifice but still have your dog for the rest of the game.
If you wanted to go full magic (without time slow cheese) you could make use of the summon spell for free meat shields, the tornado spell, or the force push. I actually didn’t bother with time slow in my magic play through. If you didn’t you should really try the summon spell out. It doesn’t just summon the little dudes. It summons the recently deceased prioritizing the most powerful first. Having a squad of balverine ghosts is just easy mode.

Little minor correction, If you play Fable: The Journey you learn the real reason why Theresa lived so long was because she tried to use The Spire and it didn't work as intended.
She was using Sparrow and Lucien to rebuild and restore the mana of the Spire.
Man this looks so much smoother playing it on backwards compat. A few years ago I had a craving to replay this game and bought an old 360, felt like the game chugged along at 20fps most of the time

I think my only issue with your thoughts on the good-evil system is how you’re always looking for a reason for something to happen. I think that’s the point of the evil play through in this game, you do evil things for no reason other than because you’re bad. There doesn’t need to be ulterior motives like trying to get power or revenge. There’s just evil people in the world, it’s how it works
I love both 1 & 2. One was a ground-breaker and number two was probably the most rounded and well-thought-out sequals of all time. Didn't like three as it felt too limiting - plus I didn't like the setting. The only thing missing is an anniversary version of two. Surprised they haven't milked that cash cow yet.
3 had issues, but I felt it did some good things. The Road to Rule system may have been limiting, but it made the combat more difficult. Especially on the PC versions hard mode.
The co-op was also much better IMO. The story was also the best imo as it avoided being a copy while doing something new.
Also they didn’t overdo the bloom lighting and the framerate felt more stable.
Unfortunately, everything else is a step down.

Fable 2 is absolutely the crown jewel of the series
I remember earning millions of gold just doing the blacksmithing mini game. Then proceeded to buy every property earning tons of money passively. Good times.

I feel like Fable 2 is a victim of the realization that because 90% of the players will do a good playthrough on their first run, the studio, with it's finite resources, will invest a lot more in to the good path than the evil one because that's what the producers would demand from a business prespective.

When I first completed Fable 1, I thought it would be cheeky to take the Sword of Aeons and simply walk out with it instead of fulfilling the prophecy and killing the sister. But the game didn't stop me. I kept the sword and my sister. In theory, Fable II canonized this third outcome.
I'm replaying the series. I'm currently in the middle of 2. These games will always hold a special place in my heart and childhood. Despite all the disappointments
Good work son, great video. Fable 2 is my favorite fable game, so many things I love about it. The setting, the jank, the choices being more gray and of course the spire sequence is by far one of my favorite “you won’t be back for a while” quests in a game. Loved seeing Lucian being midway through his quest just like you to see how far both have come but not quite ready to settle the score.
My mom always tells me about how at one point while I was playing this game, I kept swearing at the screen because this woman wouldn't stop following me around

I have no memory of this, but she keeps insisting it happened. The only reason I believe her was because I know now that there are "adult entertainers" in Bloodstone, a concept I wasn't familiar with when I was 8 (I'm pretty sure I was doing an evil playthrough so it could've been Olde Town I guess)

It was one in my youth that made me question what is right and the ending. Oh man I remember being upset from it. But I could not be selfish in replacing what was lost.

I genuinely love Fable: Lost Chapters and Fable II so much.
I'm currently working on converting the aspects of both into a dungeons and Dragons type table top game. Where the campaigns take place after FLC and essentially rewriting the future where the Guild didn't burn down. And the Gods: Avo and Skorm were once human who ascended Godhood. Avo a Paladin of Light and Skorm a Tyrant who enjoyed killing.
I was zoning out last night walking around my house listening to this on my computer in the background when I heard you say "Hey dad." Then I just started chuckling for a few moments.
Great video, I'm excited to watch the third later today :) And about the "Evil Char punish the dog" part, my take is: An evil person don't see themselves as evil. They think they are right in their ways and everyone else is just wrong. So if the dog is helping you out, it makes no sense for you to punish it. It makes much more sense (at least to me) to praised the dog, since it is helping furthering your(evil) goals.

I always enjoy the property management side of fable. Although the first game did lead the player into slaughtering whole towns just to buy up the property and then using your I'll gotten gains to donate at the temple and become holy once again...
I decided to replay Fable 2 months ago and it was really fun to look back on childhood memories and being more interested in the lore aspect. My fighting strategy now that I’m older is to spawn in those ghost/familiar things and while my enemies were distracted, charge my skill attack and kill them.
I may have truly spent more time on Fable II than I have any other game. It was incredible. Fable III is probably the biggest personal letdown I've ever experienced in gaming. I can't wait to watch your video on it and better understand what happened.

I just recently bought a series s for that very reason, along with the new fable coming out sometime in the future. I’d highly recommend it especially since all fables are on gamepass 👍🏻
To me, Fable 2 was the best of the games. I liked the first one but Fable 2 irons out some of the things that made me dread certain missions in Fable 1. I liked the sometimes grey moral choices, I wasn't going in to be good or evil, just to make personal choices for every situation, and it works.
The eerie farm dream at the end of the main quest or even the demon door with the winter house works very well for me, the atmosphere can really be on point in this game!
The NPC characters are good, even side quest characters like Chesty, and I enjoyed the increase in character customisation.
This is the Fable I keep coming back to, that I still play from time to time, It's been years since I touched Fable 1 and I haven't played 3 since it came out...
I know that folks love Fable 1 but I can't imagine a Fable game without a dog! Hence the reason I've played Fable 2 at least 10 times. Maybe I'll play it one day though.

Theresa felt severely underused in Fable 3, so the feelings are either annoyed with her for not being honest with you like she was your parent in 2 or "why are you even here, T?"

I will never for the life of me understand why they changed strength XP from red to blue and magic from blue to red.

The colours in Fable 2 correspond to the buttons used for attacking. I guess they thought it makes more sense to have strength to be blue, since you press the blue button to do strength stuff and the red button to do will stuff.
Simply color correspondence with the controller. 😒 Yeah, I thought it was kinda lame to not keep Strength coded red and Will blue. This is one of the things I didnt like about Fable 2, even if its nitpicky.

I spent two hours trying to kill the final boss with my fire will that I had put all of my skills into only to realize they wanted me to use lightning when the game glitched and no one would continue with their lines. I didn't play again for a while. 😂

I love the Fable series for the sole purpose of Character creation that evolves your character throughout the entire playthrough, in every Fable game ive done multiple playthroughs, making Strength only, Skill only, Will only characters with different moral compasses
An evil fire only Pyromancer hero in Fable 2 who didnt care about money or fame but only cared about burning the world down, unbiasedly killing both the innocent and the guilty, the horns and red will lines fit this character perfectly.
A rich, greedy, pompous, uncaring, regal, Reaver type pistol only Skill hero in Fable 3 who's whole purpose in life is to live for himself and himself alone
An all good Skill only rifle wielding Ranger who lived among the Gypsies in Fable 2 rescuing innocents from bandits and monsters
An all evil bandit clan leader who didnt use weapons, only his fists and sheer strength to murder innocents, kill an endless army of guards and hulk out using specific strength enhancing magic in Fable 1 (this was by far the hardest playthrough)
A Strength only Great hammer male Bandit leader who's moral system is mostly good but hes also corrupt, focusing on destroying other bandit clans and leaving innocents alone but hes a womanizer, alcoholic who jacks up the rent prices for max gold in Fable 2
An all good Will user in Fable 3 who lived among the nomads, living a simple life in the snowy mountains as the guardian of the mountains
The character archetypes you can make in these games are pretty much endless, giving so much game replayability and adds challenge in each playthrough, its great fun!
I can't believe my main Fav Son here is at 10k! 10 friggin K! When I stumbled on this channel there was 2k, and that was 5 minutes ago it seems like! Ever seen that show My Two Dads? Well, this is about to be just like that show, except there's gonna be a million dads, an absolute ARMY of dads. Or moms, I reckon, moms can have sons, too, I think. Where the heck to babies even come from, how do ya come up with one of those guys?
