The fact that they nerfed the Sword of Aeons makes the choice of destorying it easier. On the original Xbox it had a damage number of 500, instead of the 230 in later versions.

And of course i can't fail to mention my favorite outfit in the game and it's the same outfit i always used when i would play this as a little kid and that was the Assassin outfit .
I absolutely love this game. Played it out 3 times, but always end up playing the good guy.. idk why, but i feel like there hasn't been a single rpg ever since this game that could capture the amazing combat, the feel or the immersion of this masterpiece. The spell progression, the choices, the good/evil aspect.. it's all so well done!
I can honestly say this was one of the most entertaining videos I've seen in a while. Love your commentary/jokes. Really hope you get more views/subs, cause you deserve them!
I enjoyed the random low end shouting of like "HE WAS EVIL ALL ALLOOOOOOOOOOONG!?!??!", the sarcasm just felt so well deserved. Also the subtle references to other memes you would drop in were great. Glad to know you are a DBZA fan. That bit at 28:10 had me cackling a bit. Great video. Can only imagine what other RPG games you would do this to. =)
Game logic. Games pacing and story implies that time is passing at a relatively normal speed. We only spent 1 year inside the prison and yet I was old well and truly before that. Probably has a lot to do with me skipping a lot of days by sleeping to abuse the shop mechanic among other things. Outside of speedrunning I think most people are at least grey before the end.
Man this video is great, and I knew that right about 44:35 with the close up of Poe and the emphasized quote. Got a belly laugh out of me when I wasn't expecting it
If you bring the wasp summon to the Chamber of Fate (where the first big fight v Jack happens), place the summon just right and assassin rush into it, you'll clip under the stairs and get the Sword of Aeons less than 1 hour in. Kinda funny that Jack stops you in the prison, sees you got the sword he wants, but ignores it.
I did this for a magic only character I did a while back. Having the mana aug early made it a lot smoother. I also love the idea that you can pass up the sword after Jack, but assuming you used it a ton it'll still say it's your favourite weapon even though you don't have it. Just confuses the game lol.
The first game I played where choices you made mattered, blows in combat gave you scars etc. That first playthrough is a core memory in my gaming life!
Ive watched this video so many times, the editing and humor is absolutely on point. Id love to see fable 2 and 3 covered in the same format, as well as other games. Great job mate!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I don't have plans currently to do Fable 2 as it's pretty rough getting it working on PC (why haven't they ported it yet?!) But I'm almost done with the next vid in this style. Similarly made.
I still like playing this game once in a while, just like Black and White and more or less Beyond good and evil. It has one of the best soundtracks ever and the humour is just great.
Of all the times I have played this game (and I've played it a lot) I have never used assassin's rush. Let alone against Whisper. After all these years, I'm still learning new things about this game.
It's a very broken skill in multiple ways. One of the biggest exploits I forgot to show in the video involves the it. You can use Summon to call out a minion (preferably the wasp), but if you summon it while up against some doors, the wasp is stuck half way inside, so you can asassin rush the wasp, and go through the door/wall and sequence break some events. Like getting into Twinblades Camp without needing to do any of the tasks. The biggest exploit is doing the same trick in the chamber of fate. You can actually assassin rush to your wasp and fall underneath the chamber and grab the Sword of Aeons, which is stored there throughout the game. Teleport out and BAM you've got the super OP sword from the very beginning.
This game was my first rpg and really solidified my love for them. Ive been working on a fable sleeve and my jack tattoo is honestly my favorite of all of them. The mask is just so iconic to me
I saw the title of this video and instantly spoke out allowed "Agreed!". Thanks to the age rating and my mum, I wasn't "old enough" to play the game when it came out, but it still interested me and I spent a lot of time watching others play it. Finally, a couple of years later, I was old enough and I got hold of a copy for the pc. I remember taking turns on the pc with my brother with separate play-throughs (who is almost 6 years younger than me, thanks mum for being consistent with age ratings). We had so much fun discovering new things, being competitive over deaths, gold and such, and really just teaching each other how to play the game as we learned things ourselves that this game will always be a corner stone in gaming for me because from then on rpgs was the genre I predominantly played. It is a masterpiece and I still go back and play it on steam every now and then. It's still in my top 5 rpgs ive ever played. RIP Lionhead Studios. We miss you!
I'm not a RPG player but Fable is one of those games that left me with emotions that lasted forever. I consider it a masterpiece. Peter Molyneux is genius game designer.
This was a really entertaining video. Your narration and jokes definitely reminded me of when I first played this game as a young teenager. The game brought me back through "memory lane" doing the exact exploits to the game you just did. Also, if I remember correctly you can do one of the story missions over and over again, so you can max out your abilities before you fight "Jack of Spades".
I watched and followed this game in my youth b4 release, so excited, but when launched an played, i was never more bored out of mind by a game. Especially an RPG.
I've heard the Essex accent a bit, but isn't this one just put on a bit too thick? Seems like they're aware they're trying to make her sound as horrendous as possible, innit?
This brought back so many memories, I played a ton of Fable ages ago. Once the story was done I would still continue the save just to be in the world. As for the plate sets, there are two sweet matching helmets: the Holy Warrior Helmet and the Daemon Warrior Helmet.
Glad you liked it! Since releasing this one I've done similar videos for Destroy All Humans (2020 remake) and Darksiders 1. Working on another as we speak.
@@Beelz55 i am currently watching that one! But fable really left a mark on my childhood so this was awesome to watch and the commentary was really funny. You should also try to do fable 2 etc. I’ll be waiting on similar type of video’s bro. Keep working hard!
Thank you so much dude! I've actually never played 2 or 3. I never played 2 because I skipped out on getting a 360 and it was never ported to PC officially. And I just never wanted to play 3. First I watched The Salt Factory's "as good as I remember?" stuff, and now this. REALLY wish I could find my copy of the game. I found my Fable II copy, and have enjoyed going through it well enough, but the original Fable is where I started and love more.
amazing job man, i used to play fable a lot back when i was a child. it was my favorite game back then and see this video bring me a lot of good memories, best of wishes and keep up with the amazing content u produce!
I truly miss this game. My days of force pushing guards around when bored are long past. Infernal wrath was fun too.. but I sure did love that force push. lol Once you get it, its game over. I also miss my Sword of Aeons, so pretty. I heard they nerfed it in TLC though.. shame.
Was a really fun game. I remember faking being sick so I could stay home to play it. The weirdest thing I remember is trying to kill a bandit with the Force spell. I managed to knock him out of bounds onto a rock where he spun around in midair until his head popped off.
I completely forgot, my friends and I all played this together when we were young and we made a meme out of Jack, when he says “Finish the Ritual Maze!” And does that weird long finger point downwards. Oh god did I ever laugh. Anyways. Loved the video. Thanks for reminding me about my childhood.
God I love Fable. It holds such a special place in my heart. The setting, music, ambience are all just so damn perfect. No game has been able to get as close to it. The closest was Kingdoms of Amalur
You're the second one to compare this little vid to something Barny has made. Huge praise and I'm nowhere near worthy of that sort of comparison. I was following you for only a month now, but gotta say THIS is easily on the level of The Spiffing Brit's videos. Deserves millions of views imo!
Damn that's some pretty high praise, thank you very much
@@Beelz55yeah the editing, comedic timing and pacing made the hour go past without any fatigue
Lol for real the teleport dash made me feel so OP i just spammed enemies with that non stop and felt like such a bad ass assassin character while doing it. And of course i can't fail to mention my favorite outfit in the game and it's the same outfit i always used when i would play this as a little kid and that was the Assassin outfit .
What an homage to a great game, thank you so much for this love letter.
Very enjoyable video. You played totally different than I do which made it very entertaining
Fable was one of my greatest games ever played. Staple of my childhood. But this video was epic. You’re a great story teller. Thanks! Loved it!!!
I can honestly say this was one of the most entertaining videos I've seen in a while. Love your commentary/jokes. Really hope you get more views/subs, cause you deserve them!
Thank you so much. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The dissonance between the box art and the character models is one of the greatest crimes against humanity.
57:37 "What will you do little brother?" she says while like still in her teens
while you already some seenile old fart
@@Beelz55it's skill learning what ages you
@@miguelruiz4613 Also makes a lot of sense. After the arena I basically aged 200 years.
Man this video is great, and I knew that right about 44:35 with the close up of Poe and the emphasized quote. Got a belly laugh out of me when I wasn't expecting it
this deserves way more views. its like a perfect mix of mandalore and sseth comentary. would love to see more
If you bring the wasp summon to the Chamber of Fate (where the first big fight v Jack happens), place the summon just right and assassin rush into it, you'll clip under the stairs and get the Sword of Aeons less than 1 hour in.
I love your editing and explanations with humor. Brilliant. Fable was such an iconic game growing up so it's awesome to see your perspective.
wow, your video is a masterpiece, the narration is awesome, i have learnt some exploits and bring the old memories back. thx you, dear Beelz. +1 sub
Glad you enjoyed dude!
I do have to say, your......editing style is the best! Loved the video, made me laugh at your reactions throughout the entire thing.
Ive watched this video so many times, the editing and humor is absolutely on point. Id love to see fable 2 and 3 covered in the same format, as well as other games. Great job mate!
I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I don't have plans currently to do Fable 2 as it's pretty rough getting it working on PC (why haven't they ported it yet?!)
But I'm almost done with the next vid in this style. Similarly made.
Ok, I didn't even know you could just say "Sorry" to the guards and they would accept it, and I've played this game like a hundred times.
I still like playing this game once in a while, just like Black and White and more or less Beyond good and evil. It has one of the best soundtracks ever and the humour is just great.
Oh mann, I forgot about Black and White
I remember playing this as a kid, I didn't know any of the exploits though, it's really cool to look back at it and see how great this RPG was
This game was my first rpg and really solidified my love for them.
I love that this is my favrotie series of all time. I'm happy that no other franchise has done to my heart what this game has done.
I watched and followed this game in my youth b4 release, so excited, but when launched an played, i was never more bored out of mind by a game. Especially an RPG.
This was hilarious and entertaining from start to finish. You have great talent
Barney scarab lord vibes from this video. Awesome job man
I've had a few comments say similar things. It's pretty badass to have such a comparison made about my video. I'm glad you enjoyed and thank you!
Being from the UK, "the most annoying voice you've ever heard" is what people from Essex sound like and what wish them all a very bad day
I've heard the Essex accent a bit, but isn't this one just put on a bit too thick? Seems like they're aware they're trying to make her sound as horrendous as possible, innit?
This brought back so many memories, I played a ton of Fable ages ago. Once the story was done I would still continue the save just to be in the world. As for the plate sets, there are two sweet matching helmets: the Holy Warrior Helmet and the Daemon Warrior Helmet.
This game was my childhood. Watching this made me really want to play it again 💯💯💯
This game is such a gem that I can not put it in words. Great video
This was awesome, a great Nostalgic trip for me. WE WANT MORE, WE WANT MORE!!
Didnt play much of 2 as it didnt live up to the bar 1st set, wonder if you have and were going to do a series on Fable
Thank you so much dude! I've actually never played 2 or 3. I never played 2 because I skipped out on getting a 360 and it was never ported to PC officially. And I just never wanted to play 3. Initially I want to move on to some other games to do similar vids for, but may decide to check out Fable 2 further down the line if I'm able.
I had no idea how to open that demon door at the start. I beat the whole game thinking it might be a metaphorical light within the character, but no.
Clicked on this thinking i'd watch a few minutes of the good parts. Watched for an hour instead, liked and subscribed, this is hilarious.
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed! I'll be doing more videos similar to this one moving forward.
This was so well done! Keep up the great work! Earned my sub for sure!
This is one of the best TH-cam videos I’ve watched in 2023, went to your channel for more, doesn’t seem like this is your normal style, I’ve subbed though, and look forward to seeing something more like this pop up! Would love to see fable 2! Fantastic content my guy!
Definitely want to do more like this moving forward. Was a lot of fun to make! And thank you for he huge praise.
First I watched The Salt Factory's "as good as I remember?" stuff, and now this. REALLY wish I could find my copy of the game. I found my Fable II copy, and have enjoyed going through it well enough, but the original Fable is where I started and love more.
A masterpiece is always a masterpiece.
This game will always have a special place in my heart. It’s beautiful as much as it is fun
amazing job man, i used to play fable a lot back when i was a child. it was my favorite game back then and see this video bring me a lot of good memories, best of wishes and keep up with the amazing content u produce!
I truly miss this game. My days of force pushing guards around when bored are long past.
Infernal wrath was fun too.. but I sure did love that force push. lol
Once you get it, its game over. I also miss my Sword of Aeons, so pretty.
I heard they nerfed it in TLC though.. shame.
dude I'm fucking dying at the inside of a nose line, that's the funniest fucking line I've heard in yonks
7:24
Was a really fun game. I remember faking being sick so I could stay home to play it.
The weirdest thing I remember is trying to kill a bandit with the Force spell. I managed to knock him out of bounds onto a rock where he spun around in midair until his head popped off.
Really like this video ^^ good job beelz. Leaving a comment for the algorithm so more people can see it
"thing no die if no swing right?" - 2023 man of culture
This game was what made me love rpgs. Thank you for putting a spotlight on it:)
never played fable but always heard a lot about it. It must have been amazing to play this as a kid! thanks for the video it was a great watch.
One of the best videos you made in my opinion I cannot wait for more in the same style!
*eats 11 live baby chickens* demon door: That was wicked
I completely forgot, my friends and I all played this together when we were young and we made a meme out of Jack, when he says “Finish the Ritual Maze!” And does that weird long finger point downwards.
Oh god did I ever laugh.
Anyways.
Loved the video. Thanks for reminding me about my childhood.
44:30 Dude mad respect for using music from the JSRF soundtrack. That album slaps as hard as that game itself does
I never thought id see this on your channel. Thanks for replaying my childhood haha
Fable was my first rpg at 10, used to wait til my parents were away to visit the brothel lmao, great video you got my sub
It is, for sure! Thanks for this great appreciative video :)
I remember the day my father bought me this wonderful game. I was 13 years old, now I'm 31. One of the fondest memories of my childhood
Never got to play this one sadly, but i do have fond memories of playing the second one till the sun came up when i was a kid. :) love Fable
God I love Fable. It holds such a special place in my heart. The setting, music, ambience are all just so damn perfect. No game has been able to get as close to it. The closest was Kingdoms of Amalur
Fantastic video and I loved all the comedy comments along the way.
I have been watching you since skull series. This is your best work yet. I had hard Barny64 vibes. Keep it up man it was amazing
You're the second one to compare this little vid to something Barny has made. Huge praise and I'm nowhere near worthy of that sort of comparison. My goal is to do more videos like this where I can explore more genres and things I've enjoyed and some I've never touched. Glad you liked it dude!
Without a doubt this is the vid I'm the most proud of.
@@Beelz55 Keep doing what you are doing. You have came so far
First video of yours I’ve ever watched and I subscribed immediately. Looking forward to seeing more content like this.
Thank you very much dude! This is the first video like this that I've made, but I'll be working on more. I'm glad you enjoyed!
Had a funtastic time, Beelz! Thanks for the quality content.
I love this type of content man. So good.
I'm glad you enjoyed it dude!

One of my all time favourite games. Probably my beat it a dozen times when it came out
28:11 that tfs “i can see the future!” Caught me off guard 😂
Oh nice its beelz
Used to watch you for skul and other roguelites, i do enjoy your form of video essay.
All the best buddy.
