Man I ran into Oggdo shortly after landing on Koboh. After the first two days of misery I thought the game was just supposed to be that hard so I didn’t quit. I beat it basically with no abilities and dual wield stance. Pure hell.

@@OD427 I jumped down after making the B1s fall down and after he was waddling back to his spot I dropped down and notice it prompted to let me open the door, cheesed him and don't regret it.
It took me an hour to beat on jedi master. And when I attempted to take out both the spawn of oggdo boggdo and oggdo boggdo himself. I spent 3 hours trying to beat it, and I just caved and turn down the difficulty for it to give me nothing 🙃

I use crossguard and dual stance. I really didn't like dual stance at first, but once you get used to it, it is very very good.
I struggled against this frog boss over 2 hours and that was just the jedi master difficulty. I recommend you to ignore him for now otherwise you will get brain damaged out of rage and frustration. There is even a place where you can fight two of those at once so good luck on that

Just force pull the two human guards down to the trap door. Then let the human guards fight him for you. No honor among frog monsters

Dual stance is my favorite I probably used it 90% of the game. Especially if you can master the auto parry shit is OP after that
Same dude. I'm using cross guard and blaster for my new game + play through, but dual stance and bouble blade was OP
My biggest problem is that with auto parry If its an unblockable Then i don't have enough time to dodge it
I found dual stance good for the bosses, I Beat Rayvis Dagan and Bode with the 2 blades.
The other pseudo bosses I found the cross guard was good, but the blaster stance for the Force Tears was great
All in all, all the stances have uses but I didn’t really use the single sabre. Maybe on a new game plus I will:)
I just cheesed spawn of oggdo. I pulled down the 2 bedlam smashers from above the drop spot and before the platform opens and they walk over it I just jumped out of it and fought him after they took half his health😂. Also it’s gonna be easier once you get another move shortly later in the story
i meant to do this and everytime ive done it they got him to 30% health except one run they actually somehow ended up killing him for me. i was gonna just not save cos i wanted the XP u get from oggdo but then i died TT_TT
@@JadedLabyrinthYT Exact same thing actually happened to me, I used the Reddit user's method of pulling the Smashers down with me (which by the way; not easy to get both, or even any guarantee of victory either) and then on the 4th successful try, they just bodied Oggdo Jr and then bodied me. Thankfully he's a boss, so it counts even if I didn't get the kill, or died after.

Pro tip. Look around for for force essences. Some give you a permanent health bonus. I remember having a lot more hp by the time I was where you are just by exploring looking for those. Even without investing in the health skill tree.
I had like 7 or 8 stims at his progression. I am in awe that he has the skill to just not care lmao
For anyone unsure, the guys with lightsabers and grapples are not Jedi or Sith, nor are they Bounty Hunters (usually) they are Raiders who are trained by Rayvis specifically to replace the Jedi and beat them with unconventional tactics and equipment, they have no force sensitivity and all of their Sabers were stolen from the many Jedi Rayvis has killed.

I personally prefer the double sided stance because you run into a bunch of gun fire and it's great for deflecting those back at them, it's amazing for crowd control, and even in 1v1 it overwhelms enemies and absolutely shreds their stamina bar especially when you get the cyclone upgrade. That's what I use 99% of the time and then dual wield stance for very specific things.
can confirm that Crossguard stance, and blaster stance is suuuuper fun. It's what I used, and I pieced up everything. Even the 150 droid trial.

7:59- Lmao that’s funny! It’s very funny and very cool at the same time that they added a technique that fans have been talking smack about since the prequel‘s came out! Because if a enemy swings his lightsaber towards yours and your blade shuts off and back on after their blade has already passed (depending on the count in the form their using) their blade will keep going in the direction they swung from and and you will be able to either continue to the original target you were aiming at or switch it to another direction because you obviously knew what you were doing and therefore can anticipate the lack of force hitting it!!! This character didn’t use it to his benefit yet and the element of surprise is gone now but it’s still a good tactic that most can’t prepare for!

Once I got crossguard it was over. Favorite stance. It rewards good timing and the upgrades just make it so much better

if you like the blaster stance (my beloved) there are 2 perks that can drastically improve the damage output of the blaster itself. Won't tell you where they are, so exploring is rewarding ;)

there are two hammer guys at the top, force push both of then and they will fight ogdo for you, they will left it with a lot less health and then its just a couple of hits to defeat it

Crossguard is so good for the big animal enemies and little like bounty hunters and lightsaber bedlam raiders but ive found with main bosses it isnt as good because of the slowness, double blade and dual wield is best at least for me when fighting dagan. Crossguard works real well for rayvis.

5:46- I get way people love the puzzles but when I first got back into video games and pretty much any time I do jump on a game (at least for me) it was so I can shut off my brain! Not make it work harder lol I think that might be a big reason why once I get to a puzzle (depending on it’s difficulty) I will struggle until I’m finally willing to turn my brain back on!!!

I use double blade and dual wield. I like the fluidity of the combos with the double blade stance, and dual can give me that power if I need it. Crossguard is too slow for me lol

Those mogu's on grandmaster are basically minibosses without a health bar. It's not just you, they are annoying as hell at the beginning.

mat3 you need to max out the mind trick skill tree or whatever then when you have two beasts you can trick them into fighting eachother
@Floverse, I beat Spawn of Oggdo a while ago on Grand Master. The idea is to not parry him at all. The normal attacks should be evaded and then hit him after. Evade and repeat. Don't parry as this does nothing to his block meter 😭
See Idk why but after completing the game I now favour to using the normal single blade stance

11:58- I know you know now but this one is actually supposed to be stronger than the last! I know this question will seem like it’s attached to the statement but it’s really not and I’m just curious about it. Are you actually a Star Wars fan? Or are you just a video game fan? Either is OK. I’m just curious because if you are a SW fan then I would suggest when you get to a new planet in the next game/games (depending on if it’s part 3 of this game or just a whole different storyline entirely) that while you are in route for the planet to pause the game and do a bit of research on said planet (unless you already know that one) and check out how violent the flora and Fana is before stepping off the ship!?! Majority of the time the writers of these games do the same thing so it’s pretty accurate with the information that already exists! In some rare occasions they put a species on a planet that their not native to and it really doesn’t help much with other names charters but I would think any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Just saying
