One of the other ancient chests rewards you with the Hunter lightsaber, and is in a completely optional area that you can access by using the force tame ability on the large turtle-like creature on Koboh. It has some fantastic looking parts.
Figured this out after learning the mind trick (taming animals) and walked up to him like, “No way, right?” Lots of things are easy to miss in this game.
Sam if u want to include an easy way to kill spawn of oggdo, this helped me do it in the beginning on jedi master: 11:27 before you fall through the floor, up on the cliff are 2 of the heavy raiders. Pull them down and have them follow you over the door so they fall through with you. They fought the spawn and got him down to only a couple of hits before they died. Made the spawn really easy.
You have to have the unrelating pull from the force tree but its a great investment skill. You should also look up the xp grinding strat with them its real good@gianmarcobattista2278
The answer to the puzzle door with the pull out pillars is also right behind you as you face the door. The two walls directly behind you have those skull recesses, with 2 lit and 2 unlit on either side. These lit ones correspond with which pillars to pull. At least, that was how I figured it out!
for santari's lightsaber and most other solid koboh matter walls, you can just shoot it with a charged blaster shot. (must be charged not ricochet or stun).
How to beat Spawn of Oggdo on Grand Master: Kill the droids on top of the floor hatch that opens. Force Pull the two Bedlam Smashers down from the ledge above it. Lure them both to the center of the hatch that opens, and they will drop in and begin fighting Oggdo. Make sure you have blaster stance and either dual-wield or Crossguard, for maximum range attacks. After Spawn of Oggdo takes out the Bedlam Smashers, it's health should be down to around 1/4th of it's max health, give or take depending on how the fight went. If you're careful, while they're fighting it, you can begin poking it with some lightsaber throws (dual weild) or blaster shots. After they're dead, keep your distance, keep moving, and keep poking with your ranged attacks (Charged blaster shots and duel-wield throws or ground smashes with crossguard). It helps to go in with a little bit of health taken away from one of the droids above, so you can stim and regain force to do some more. After you exhaust all possible ranged attacks, you only really need to sneak in a few hits with your saber to take the boss out. It's cheap, yes. But it's totally within the bounds of the game mechanics, and it's the only way I could beat him on GM. Still took me a handful of tries.
On points 9 and 10. You don't have to fight all 3 bounty hunters at the same time. If you use the acid pods on the purple doors each hunter is standing behind, you can open up a 1v1 fight with them instead.
Ngl I didn’t realize this so I had to fight all 3 at the same time and dear god that was a stressful fight. Got it first try thankfully but goddamn it was a close shave

You don’t have to fight the three bosses in the caves at once. When you see the circle doors with the purple electricity, you can hurl the exploding plant heads to open the doors. So you can fight each one at a time. For example, you can open one on the floor where you fight the Rancor. The exploding plant heads aren’t near these doors so you have to go find them and carry them using the Force. They don’t explode when you carry them like this. In the Phon'Qi Caverns, you can fight the Lightsaber wielding mini bosses one at a time. Just free them as you encounter, and don’t skip past them. As for the Rancor, it won’t follow you to the edge where those explosive balls are. Take the balls and Force throw them at the Rancor until it dies, and you won’t get hit. As for the Spawn of Ogdo, before the floor opens to fight him, Force Pull the Hammer wielding guys, and drop them down onto platform you’re on. Walk onto the platform and then flip back just before it opens. The two Hammer guys will fall into the pit, and do the work for you. Then jump down into the Pit, and finish the Spawn of Ogdo.

for the 9 and 10 one, u dont need to fight the 3 bounty hunters at once, u only have to fight all 3 if u don't take the 2 out u pass before hand, u just need to use the exploding lifeforms they grow to blow off the wall which they are stuck behind, where the hunter at the rancor is and the other one which i forget, and for the one near the rancor, i just opened their door got them to walk out and let the rancor take care of them

thanks missed the hidden door on jedah, not sure if this works on grandmaster but Spawn of Oggdo and the dual Oggdo force tear was really easy once i discovered that full charged blaster shot will cancel their red charge attack like the 1hit ko tong attack and the multi bite attack. also some walls can be climbed by button bashing jump to get collectables early, but the game will give you a warning you broke your game and create a separate save from before you got the collectable...still don't get how getting one of the perk slotes from the number 18 jedah puzzle buy forcing my way up it and before i unlocked force dash broke my game, but the dev's apparently didn't like me getting it early.
Funny with crypt puzzle on Jedha... I thought the hint was the lights from the opposite side of the puzzle door, still got in though XD
Skoova stev is my favorite movie reference in recent memory
Incredibly helpful! Big thank you to you
You're welcome! 😊
There are several post game databank entries in the forms of force echoes that dont show up on the map even with upgrades on all world except the shatered moon. They fill in Bode's story pretty well and dont count for completetion, but are still cool
Awesome video dude :) TY
Black Jedi robes and the shirt with the one glove and Luke’s hair. That is my getup.
I personally love Skoova and his interactions
#17 the easter egg is for the movie the Titanic. The scene where Jack paints whats-her-name where the whole "draw me like one of your French girls" quote comes from lol
I got the alignment center fast travel point on the first trip to Koboh by accident, glad I know what to do with that place now
I always end up crashing when completing that hunter's quary puzzle with the koboh matter
I haven’t seen anyone actually talking about this, but… Skoova Stev = Scuba Steve, Phon-Qui Caverns = Funky Caverns… there are more of these in the game, too. Which ones did you catch?
Soont Madas looks like a devolved Rakata, tbh
I always talked to Moran cause i found his voice nice to listen to so i unlocked that room without meaning to lol
for the 9 and 10 one, u dont need to fight the 3 bounty hunters at once, u only have to fight all 3 if u don't take the 2 out u pass before hand, u just need to use the exploding lifeforms they grow to blow off the wall which they are stuck behind, where the hunter at the rancor is and the other one which i forget, and for the one near the rancor, i just opened their door got them to walk out and let the rancor take care of them
i hate that Smugglers Tunnel Force Tear
This was super helpful
After you beat spawn of oggdo go back to domas shop and you have a fracture there where you face two of them.. took me about 30 minutes but finally beat both of them.. goodluck
Thanks very helpful
Glad it helped!
For 9:30 you can reach there with a glider(starwars pterodactyl) as well. I was too curious to wait for unlocking that skill at the time and saw the opportunity to glide there instead lol
And for the Oggdo I force pulled the two chiefs from the 3rd level and baited them onto that platform. Both of them can bring him down to half health and that’s how I manage to beat that damn frog early in the game lol also the hit box for his tongue is ridiculous. Same for rancor IK grab. Your body despite evading will magically get rubber banded into their attacks. Super annoying.
Fractured malice can go do one.
Those were pretty much the words I used
Everyone but me loves Skoova Steve. I find him long winded and aggravating.
If you open all the doors that you melt with those bomb monsters you can fight all three of those bounty hunters individually
with the fortitude perk and other two that are given by the NG+ you can almost one-shot everything included the bosses
Soont Madas kind of looks like the alien that was hunting Alex from the movie The Last Starfighter
Force Tears parkour really force me to tears 😭 😭
15:55
IT WAS THE PILLARS ABOVE??!?!!
I thiught it was the pattern of the shelves in the crypt, i pulled out the ones that were not part of the pattern and it worked
You can actually defeat the three bounty hunters separately if you destroy the gates as you encounter each one of them
Had to look it up, but Soont Madas is a Gotarite? They are really freaky.
Soont Madas - I would be surprised if this was a canon Star Wars race. It's Zando-Zan from a 1984 Sci-Fi movie called "The Last Starfighter". I'm guessing a dev or artist was a fan of the movie.
thanks missed the hidden door on jedah, not sure if this works on grandmaster but Spawn of Oggdo and the dual Oggdo force tear was really easy once i discovered that full charged blaster shot will cancel their red charge attack like the 1hit ko tong attack and the multi bite attack. also some walls can be climbed by button bashing jump to get collectables early, but the game will give you a warning you broke your game and create a separate save from before you got the collectable...still don't get how getting one of the perk slotes from the number 18 jedah puzzle buy forcing my way up it and before i unlocked force dash broke my game, but the dev's apparently didn't like me getting it early. After getting force dash the option to select between save when pressing continue disappeared.
I think if they got to the end of his story, you find out the inquisitor that killed bode’s wife. Then found that person and fought him as Cal.
Skoova Stev is a nod to Big Daddy and Scuba Steve. Not 100% sure but must be.
Soont madas is a gotarite. Your welcome Sam.
behind the mtt at Fort Kahlin, there are more Raiders to fight and I think there was a chest
Really enjoying the game it was pretty rough at first on pc but man it looks good maxed out at 4k with hdr. Seems like everyone is playing tears of the kingdom now but I’m actually enjoying jedi survivor more but will go back to tears of the kingdom when im done. I like the last 2 zelda games just don’t think their the greatest of all time like some people think. Graphics aren’t everything but its hard going back to switch after playing series x, ps5 and especially pc on my oled tv. But we’ve had many great game so far this year i keep jumping back and forth. I still need to finish re4, dead island 2 and dead space.
In the Star Wars universe holo tactics and holo chess are two very different games
Rick the Door Technician!
Gwent is awesome
item 11... they need to make the last zip line a little closer, it's right at the edge of what's possible to latch onto. It's an absolute pig of a level.
You can cheese the Spawn of Oggdo with the hammer raiders. I have instructions
when im start holotactics, game is crushing
I just started this game
