double blade + crossguard is better imo
Dual wield + cross guard… eldin ring bloody build
For me it was blaster and dual weild. Now I'm using single and double bladed to mop up collectibles before starting NG+
I challenged myself by only using the single saber, and I'm way too good at it lol

I have always preached the greatness of the double sided stance. I'm glad you have finally used it and have seen the light. Delay your attack inputs a little bit and you do some crazy combos and will absolutely shred stamina bars. There are a couple of enemies that are usually a pain but they don't even have time to attack if you just overwhelm them with those attacks. Also the vortex move is really good at closing distance between you and the opponent and will do a fat chunk of stamina damage as well.
Double sided is how i beat the rancor super early. I stood inbetween its legs which made all the arm swings miss, and spammed the attacks with double bladed, its like a spinning arc and in between his legs, it registers MULTIPLE hits on him with each single press of the attack button. Melted his health bar
I will never get sick of people playing on Grand Master difficulty and then complaining that the game is too hard. It is hard, it is frustrating, but you made it through, didn't you? 😁
I find it quite fun, just the right amount of difficulty.
I finished on jedi master it honestly didn't feel difficult tbh. Beyond like ogdo and rancor everything including story boss was easy. Double rancor took me like 5 trys although I did rush tf out of it.

Love the vids, small tip= when you die especially with bosses, if the yellow xf and life restoration is there, then fight until you have nearly no health and pick that up. It will give you full health again and save you a stim

I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one constantly rage ranting on grand jedi master difficulty 😂 if you add the purity perk the lightsaber strikes will do SO much damage it's insane but ups the challenge (for enemies too...)
There’s also the Fortitude perk that increases lightsaber damage while making you take more damage. Combined with purity and grandmaster it’s pretty crazy. Bosses are easy but giant groups of high end droids can be REALLY annoying.

One blaster hit and it’s over, that’s why sometimes when I’m overwhelmed with enemies of different types I try out different strategies and “study” their attack patterns before committing to attempting to clear out floors/rooms. A lot of times it becomes tedious but when you finally make it out in one piece it’s so worth it and satisfying 🙏

When Dagan throws the saber around him, you need to time it so that you block it when it’s about to hit you. Then it will return to him and he’ll loose half of his block meter.

Hey Flo did you know that if you unlock the blaster parry you can send the hammer guys flying with a perfectly timed blaster shot parry
The blaster parry is so satisfying and wildly overpowered relative to regular attacks. Getting the trophy for that one was fun

All the flashbacks are events that happened between end of the first game and the beginning of this game.
Spawn of ogdo is like the 4th hardest boss id say after both ogdo bodgo and the spawn, the 2 rancors and then rayvis. Rayvis was the boss fight that gave me the most trouble on gm, the only one to make me consider lowering the difficulty but i perservered
I just finished my first play through on Jedi Knight difficulty and and Rayvis was pretty easy compared to Spawn of Oggdo. What made me rage the most was Fracture Burden and Darth Vader.

I'm playing a new game plus with the stronger enemy perk and the more damage perk and it makes the gameplay way different and I really like it, also on grandmaster. but it changes the way you play the game I really enjoy it. also on pc

Not going to lie, super battle droids in this game are probably what caused me the most problems overall in this game. They're just relentless, especially on GM with that unblockable blaster shot.

You do know that parrying in The Jedi game isn't that helpful right?
The stance doesn't let you do lots of damage. You can't really go for posture kill or do charged heavies.
Dodging and doing chip damage often kills faster.
I didn't play survivor, but it was like that for fallen order.
