Jadi Survivor: Casual (20 hours minutes) -> Speedrun (17 minutes) Elden ring: Casual (60 hours) -> speedrun (22 minutes [restricted]) -> (3 minutes [unrestricted]) There are also some 100+ hours RPGs that you can beat in a couple of minutes, but I might as well bring up an example that most people would get.

It's pressing f11, which lags the game enough to allow Cal to walk through closed doors and some walls. And yes, it is allowed and a must have for this speedrun.
I would assume fighting Bode on the copy of Tanalor that spawns for the cutscene is necessary because the game wouldn't allow you to fly to it wit the Mantis even if the array was aligned, right?

Skipping the tutorial climbing section (at 2:40), hitting a loading trigger for a new area then voiding out (at 3:17) and then completing the climbing section as intended causes the "fall timer" to be disabled until you quit out to the main menu. It's currently needed to make the skip at 4:55 work

Skip the save point at rooftops & then go far enough away, void out to respawn back at the start of the tutorial climb, and after going through the tutorial climb normally and droping down into rooftops, the game will deactivate your fall timer. Seems to be the game considering that Rooftops as the 'start of the game' as a lot of flags are tied to it (gaining XP, as another example)
@TenToAceStudios The No Fall Timer (NFT) glitch was actually found by accident during routing of the All Stances category. That was the first time we actually had a purpose to backtrack to Rooftops, and turns out the game just turns off the fall timer 😂

@alexeysavelyev a proper speed run is doing it legit but as fast as possible not jumping through walls to skip fights lol it would be more impressive getting the best time but not skipping fights
@@robsonclark6463 no, a proper speed run is completing the game as fast as you can using only what game gives you (no external tools, altho some societies allow for macros to bind skipping dialogue on a mouse wheel, like mass effect 2). Either you acnowledge usage of glitches or not does not change the definition of a speedrun.
@@robsonclark6463 it's a test of skill to see how fast you can beat a game using every tool at your disposal. If your interested there is a glitchless category as with most games that is also pretty interesting

Question - if we can reach actual Tanalorr by using the meditation point in fake Tanalorr, why do we need to activate the alignment control center?
if we don't, then Bode will not spawn on Tanalorr and we have therefore no way to finish the game
