Love the property and the car was just like my first one I owned in Italy but in black, Loved the doors, but later I treaded it in for an Alfa.

this. oh my... the grounds and countryside are gorgeous. but you weren't done with bringing the wonderful were you? the house at the first step inside is simply amazing for it's lovely warm blanket appeal. 10 minutes in, when you panned the camera to that dining room and staircase, i let out a deep sigh, i kid you not. so easy on the eye and heart, and the epitome of HOME. and of course you weren't done because there's so much to this place! just one absolutely lovely thing only leading to another :) how wonderful for someone to purchase this truly amazing property and enjoy all it offers! another wow tour nick!!!! while waiting for paint to dry in my bathroom redo i had to take a break and come see what i'd missed lol

What an immaculate wow property, no surprise it has been sold. It’s in a stunning location!
So gorgeous! Everything about it is just right for anyone to step in and begin a small Guest House, or just have it as their 'private residence'. But no matter what they do, it would be perfect am sure! Just to have a Chapel and that lovely river makes it all so stunning! I think most anyone would just love to visit or stay in it when visiting even as a guest? Yes, you may need help with cooking or cleaning or some of the outdoor work, but some you can do yourself perhaps?
Wish I could retire to Tuscany. But this would only be a dream as of now.

Stunning! I love Cortona so much. It's very touristy, but has managed to effortlessly maintain all its charm. Nearby is lake Trasimeno which holds many attractions, including little islands to visit. It's the perfect area to live, the rail links are excellent, you can get to Tuscany easily, and also enjoy Umbria with all its delights. I miss travelling in Italy, and especially the Porchetta vans :o)

My favourite movie has also become my favourite house 😍
This property belongs to my high school classmate and I've been able to visit there a couple times in the last few years. A magical spot. Very peaceful, just minutes from charming Cortona, and 90 minutes or less from Florence. Each room is so cozy. It's one of those homes where every room makes you want to linger with a good book or a great glass of wine.
So why is he selling?
Like me, he and his wife are getting close to 70 years old. They're thinking it's getting to be time to head back home to the States for the "golden" years. Personally, I think living in Cortona is about as golden as it gets, but I can understand their thinking. They're not selling because of any emergency or anything, just thinking ahead. @@hugolafhugolaf

Oh The Pool must be put at 6.11 in the video. Infinity edge with fab pool chairs and Brolly. On and I would so do a Pickle ball court on the ground side where the classic car is. And I just changed the MAn cave to a recording studio for me to continue making my music and that includes updating the outside of that part that faces the pool. This is a great property and congrats on the sale.

Yes, one can rent either the main house, guesthouse or both. You will need a licence but they are quite easy to get. Beautiful property. Just the distribution of bedrooms that is different. Not enough bedrooms in main house. My question is, how hard is it to install solar power on these properties in Italy?

@@italianproperty Thank you! I already checked it, but besides the 0.5Ha garden (which now I asume is the size of the lot), I do not see any building size number. The floor plans have an "h" which normally is the floor to ceiling height.

Very expensive for what it is and where it is. A lot of sellers are adding the “COVID Greed” markup. When the lockdowns end, the bottom will fall out of this market.
Most people commenting here are not in the market and are just dreaming, so they don’t care what the price is.
