- Probably the BEST Italian property I have toured! This week's One Take Italian Property Tour is a classic Tuscan LUXURY wine estate in the heart of the Chianti Classico region of Tuscany. It is absolutely sublime.
In my opinion one of the top wine areas in Italy. Chianti Classico. That's what I like! My name is Nick Ferrand and these are my One Take Italian Property Tours. This elegant Tuscan wine estate is situated is an extremely private position with far reaching views over Chianti vineyards and the unspoilt Tuscan country side. Beautifully renovated and well maintained, this amazing Italian property has 11ha of Chianti Classico, olive groves, rich orchards and stunning formal Italian gardens.
Situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico half way between Florence and Siena, this property offers private country living, as well as easy access to two of Tuscany's most historic cities, Firenze and Siena and all they have to offer in the way of culture, theatres, restaurants, Italian fashion shopping and airports.
Main House
The oldest part of the main house dates back to the 13th century and still features many original materials such as terracotta floor tiles, beautiful vaulted ceilings, open fireplaces, all of which add to the abundance of character this property offers. The spacious reception rooms situated both on the ground and first floors, exube historic importance and are perfect for entertaining. The property for sale measures approx. 840 m2, and is composed as follows ;
Ground Floor: kitchen, dining room, billiards room, lounge, laundry room.
First Floor: The stairway leads into a charming "morning lounge" with fireplace. The central lounge area gives access to five bedrooms and four bathrooms (three are en-suite). The master suite enjoys an abundance of natural light due to the french doors leading to the private balcony.
Halfway up the stairway to the first floor, there is a single bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
Guesthouse
Adjacent to the main house and connected via a beautiful courtyard, the guest house offers a charming living room with fireplace, kitchen-dining room, two double bedrooms, studio and three bathrooms. The property also offers staff or guest quarters by way of two apartments, each offering one bedroom and one bathroom.
The Gardens & Grounds
The property sits amongst a beautiful Italian rose garden, surrounded by olive groves and stunning Tuscan views.
The pool area, close to the house, but is completely private and secluded. The grounds also offer a Tennis court, open garden area and various panoramic terraces.
The Estate - Vineyards & Cantina
There are approx. 11 Ha of land, 3 of which are currently Chianti Classico vineyard and the estate has rights to plant a further hectare making a total of approx. 4 Ha of vineyard. The wine cellar, built in 2002 is a good size and fully equipped with production facilites.

Love the “mature landscapes- I mean LOVE them. They add so much to the property! Here in the good old USA, people can’t wait to rip out plantings and start over.

I got excited seeing La Massa on boxes in the cantina. My favorite Chianti being Giorgio Primo produced not too far from there. I talk about the wine because I am still utterly speechless upon viewing what truly is the best of the best you have ever presented. There is nothing to say that you have not said already. I found this video to be more numbing than calming because it was like a dream seeing it. The land of the gallo nero. Greve in Chianti is always a stop for me to see one of my favorite butchers, Antica Macelleria Falorni. Each week, your videos hammer home the question…..”what am I still doing here?” Thanks again Nick for a wonderful Saturday!

Dear Nick, I believe this is for me the most stunning property I have seen, showed by you. This part of Italian history strikes me in its surroundings, gardens, terraces, its stonework, tiles, wooden beams, antiques, ........ it is all perfectly restored, tastefully decorated, with amazing furniture, beds, etc. Like you many times stated: it is ABSOLUTELY amazing !!

Clooney has a property on Lake Como in Northern Italy. The local chamber of commerce calculated that just the fact he had roots there is worth €130million (pa I believe) to the region as a result of enhanced reputation, tourism and property prices... Italians love him.
@@davidmullens2464 Ed sheeran and George lucas have done the same for Lago Trasimeno in Umbria - we bought there 6 years ago and George Lucas’s project was kept secret by the locals for as long as they could so as not to impact his and his families privacy but also local values which are starting to climb.

This villa is spectacular, picturesque and impressive. The interior is simply charming full of history and decorated with perfection. The exterior landscape is breathtaking and there are so many spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The fireplaces are EVERYTHING!! Well, you certainly out did yourself with this one. I am in lov3e with this house. That stone ceiling, oh my. Just can't believe anyone would ever sell this gorgeous property. I couldn't make up my mind which bedroom to sleep in. Would have to play musical beds. That place is stunning. Only thing that would make it better is it was haunted. So much stone work and the beams, to die for! The doors, magnificent. I love this one.

Hey Mr.Nick!!! I absolutely LOVE it when you giggle with delight at the workmanship in these homes. Your enthusiasm for your work is just contagious and this is one of the main reasons I tune into your channel (not to mention the beauty and gorgeousness of the Italian countryside). I'll probably not be able to afford a doghouse in this region of the world no matter how many lifetimes I could save money, but your videos are eye candy and a mini-vacation all on their own. It was very interesting to see so much interior stone that was bare. That door which was carved to mirror the frame is fantastic. Those views aren't bad either. Soooooooooo astonishlly unique wook of Art. The time they put Into decorate in such a exquisite detail and taste. Of course and the money must cost to create this home. I appreciate that life has given me the opportunity to appreciate the beauty within objects and be able to see homes so beautiful decorated and layer out. And yes a place that l can not afford eventhough l wish l could. But still is so great to see it.

This is an amazing property and the current owners must to so proud of their achievements. The house is sublime and each room has it’s own character and personality. The furnishings are perfect and the aspect as you walk into each room and then outside is so amazing.

Wow, just a huge wow! Words are just inadequate to describe this place. The stone ceilings in the main entry way were beautiful, I have never seen anything like that before. Another historic home filled with history. I loved how you showed some of the detail in the doorways and the structure of the barrelled ceiling in the entry area. The views are amazing!
