I found this video to be incredibly helpful and informative. Seeing your decision to switch up patterns/colors helps me to be confident in making my own decision to switch up when I am not getting any action. Thanks!
Thanks so much for not showing or telling us where you were fishing! The last thing we need is everyone in Utah on those small streams. (I really want to know though). Haha
Thanks for sharing this super helpful video! I hadn’t fished hoppers all that much until this summer and was determined to stick with it - little to no dropper - and it has been a blast. Even a good follow can be exciting! Appreciate the insight. 🙏🏻🎣
Great video @FlyFishFood ! Nice work, Curtis! It's amazing watching other anglers sometimes as many do not keep switching patterns, even while fishing the same run. So cool to see the fish move on the flies, almost like I was making those casts. Super video...now I'm getting stoked to get off the main and into some smaller tribs this week. Thanks folks!! 🦗🎣
Lance's Bionic Hopper is an excellent pattern especially with a Thread Frenchie tied in the correct color and correct color of bead.
YES! This is one of my favorite videos from you. Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate this content. I like how you walked us through your thought process. Also surprised that moose didn’t take the hopper.

Super fun... nice dedication to hoppers even with cheats on SoS...
OH that Take, beautiful out, tight lines
Best hopper fishing are in places without drift boats!
I've had a few SOS's in my box for 4 years. I have yet to catch a fish on it either. Yes, I have tried, several times.
I dig those SOS hoppers. Killer pattern!!

It's dry fly ALL day...... 10 minutes in.... dropper time. Lol, I think we've all done it!
Do you spit on it or rub it dude?
I’ll give you a hint, pay me to reverse your fucking flag dude!
@@wesleysmith6018 , what?
@@realityobservationalist7290 Reverse that fucking flag fool!
What is that fly box system you got there. Whoever came up with that is a genius.

Nice video, 10 footer for that small stream?
Try it. You’ll never go back. Even in tight situations and especially small streams. And if you’re used to using a 10’ rod, it’s pretty natural
Thanks for the suggestion. I appreciate the feedback.
What brand of pants did you have on?
Curtis likes Jordasche or Lulu Lemon

I smell wild fly/fish food, spit on that thang!
I'm glad I wasn't the special guest...
I love your gear reviews...but when it comes to fishing I rather watch Lance. No offence... Thanks for all your videos.
The fish are on camera, till them to get naked
Good video, but I do miss teaches input on things to teach to work for you people

I will stick with my Whits and Daves hoppers, along with weighted Joes hoppers. Rubber flies have no appeal to me.
Agreed! We don't like rubber flies either. They don't float like we want them to.
