When you're making a movie about dinosaurs who destroy a major city, but can't afford to actually destroy a major city on film... what do you do? Well, if this film is anything to go by... do something on a much smaller scale, and just name the thing as if you're doing the bigger picture. No one will be able to spot the difference!

When you're so cheap you have to buy your Dinosaur (and a Pterosaur) models from a website. At least, the Monolophosaurus is indeed a Jurassic genus...
So THAT'S the name of these species. I thought it was just knock-off velociraptors....which they technically are in these movies.
@@ДмитрийГусарев-ж8ъ at leat they still use real dinosaurs too lol. so many species, yet jurrassic park says nah lets make our own! . then just end up wtih a super trex and raptor lol. i havent seen this one though so only have the review to go off of, i'm a bit torn. it doesnt seem completely horrible. definitely bad lol. but idk how to put it.... uhh it comes off more like an oldschool kaiju/monster movie to me than a jurassic ripoff. albeit i honestly cant say if that's a good thing. . if either of you have seen it and jurassic dead let me know how they stack up to each other i think it was the last B/C dinosaur movie i saw.

20:16 It turn out that the "velociraptors" and "T-Rex" are accurately models of monolophosaurus, and giganotosaur, I guessing they can only afford the models of these lesser know dinos.

It's funny because Jurassic park started this trend by slapping velociraptor onto deinonychus

Decker's use of the word "cunt" has perfect comedic timing and is used with flawless tact.
Decker, the dinosaurs are actually Monolophosaurus, roughly 16 foot long, 6 foot tall theropod from the middle Jurassic period. And yes, as you said, NOTHING like a Velociraptor.

Really? I actually thought that they did look like Monolophosaurus, but I thought there was no way the filmmakers were smart enough to know that that was a real dinosaur genus.
I also like the fact at 20:14 they actually kept the take where the actor says Velaciropters. Feel like that was missed joke opportunity.

I think Decker is the most re-watched TH-camr I subscribe to. Always funny, no matter how many times I watch them. I especially love Decker rooting for the dinosaurs to enter the room because the women would be safer with them than the psychopath.
The DINO Bunny High scene was probably my favorite scene in this review.

I'm with you about carnivores in movies, especially when one is stalking a group of people and is apparently hungry, like after a certain amount of time it would break off and look for something easier.

Fun fact: Deinoychus is formerly known as Velociraptor, although the species is rarely ever called Velociraptor anymore. That's the reason the raptors in the Jurassic Park series are called that despite their inaccurate size.
I don't think many scientists ever actually classified _Deinonychus_ as a species of _Velociraptor,_ but when Crichton was writing the original book, he chose to call it the latter over the former because he felt it was more dramatic. I know there was at least one paleontologist who claimed _Deinonychus_ was _Velociraptor,_ I just don't remember their name, but I don't think it was ever a commonly accepted consensus.

Great as always! After the brain-melt of dinos, may I recommend a lighter review of "Buckaroo Bonzaii", "Batman: Under the Red Hood", or...wait for it..."The Girl, the Gold Watch, and Everything", TV movie that "Clockstoppers" did a great of lifting from.
Ray Wise! Props to him forever for Batman: The Animated Series and...Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2. I honestly thought his portrayal of the President in that game was actually very good.
Just to note, it is per Jurassic Park that the most effective and quickest way to kill raptors is explosions. The book used a rocket launcher.

The dinosaur models are that of Giganotosaurus and Monolophosaurus made by Dinoraul, RIP to the man, but for some f***ing reason the Monolophosaurus and Giganotosaurus where called Velociraptor and Tyrannosaurus Rex, the reason why I have no f***ing idea why

To anyone who actually cares, the dinosaurs in this movie most closely resemble Monolophosaurus, a species discovered in China. Believe it or not (and I can't believe I'm saying this) they're actually very accurate to their real life counterparts. Aside from a few issues (like how they hold their hands) they're actually quite anatomically correct. Even the size is quite accurate.
But taking them as VELOCIRAPTORS makes Jurassic Park look like a cinematic encyclopedia on dinosaurs.

For when "March Of The Dinosaurs" is complete, you should review "Atomic Twister" 2002. It's a cheesy early 2000's TV Movie by TBS with some cheesy acting, decent CGI and a plot that sort of holds up.
