+dapillnow Ha, when you're a kid almost any action film is awesome. As long as there were some baddies and some action to distract me, I enjoyed anything my parents showed me.
Well now I finally know why I've thought this film was Carnosaur all these years. For years I told people I remember a hilarious Carnosaur film where Eric Roberts fights a T. Rex in a bulldozer. Turns out that last part isn't true, but with so much reused footage, I guess I kind of combined the films into one, but I've definitely seen them both.
Wow...I honestly thought I had brought up Raptor in the comment section of your Carnosaur Reviews... Basically Raptor - to me - is one of the most Shameless movies I've ever seen. The only movie that tops it is, "Gamera - Super Monster".
When I saw Raptor, I was thinking it was going to be a movie adaptation to a book published by Paul Zindel. The book is a way better than watching this film. But, then again, it isn't a no-brainer. lol
I hadn't seen any carnosaurs, but the vhs of this turned up at my local 2nd hand store and it was fun to watch as someone who had seen reviews of the carnosaurs but never any of the movies. That said, 2nd half of this was rough even given the lack of previous exposure. felt like a completely different movie.
BRO WAIT WHAT?!?!?! I remember renting carnosaur and the sequel AND this ALOT when I went to block buster and when I saw your review for carnosaur and saw that jeep scene I could’ve sworn that that was actually the beginning of the film and not a random scene in the middle and I also do remember the trex being pushed by a forklift. Not only that but THIS is the movie where that jeep scene is in the beginning and it’s dead ass just taken from another movie
huge Carno 1,2,3 fan. Never seen 4, put off seeing this one as its just recycled footage.. but now I haven't seen Carno 1,2,3 in long time so i might as well watch this as it will show all the good dino scenes i know and love with some new footage
Decker I would like to recommend a few movies that I think would interesting to see you tackle. "Escape from New York", "The Warriors" , "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974)", "The Terminator" series, "Humanoids from the Deep", "The Brood". You don't have to if you don't want to or can't buy them, I just thought they would be interesting.
The only way this could’ve been worse is if the original scenes were in fact not original scenes and were actually stock footage from other coreman productions They may as well have made the entire movie stock footage and not even have bothered with the new shit
It's amazing how you can scrap together an entirely new movie made up of footage from older movies ;p However, Lorissa McComas' magnificent body is almost worth the admission price
While watching this I couldn't get rid of impression that a long face heroine, who destroys evidence with brush, is actually Decker's older sister with even better hair...
No, it's not. It's 90 seconds long LOOPED FIVE TIMES. Because even after reusing half of the first three Carnosaurs, they STILL couldn't get it up to a running time that made it qualify as 'a film'. So they just took the sex scene and repeated it a bunch, probably guessing no one would notice.
Thank you for the review, this movie is hard to find. What a shameless monstrosity, stock footage glued with some boring forced scenes! Poor Eric Roberts...
Knowing what I know about these now. I saw Raptor first... Then drew the comparisons to Carnosaur(s). Roger Corman is into recycling. Environmental friendly or lazy film maker noticeably copy and pasted.
So In response to teeth being white. I think I figured it out the Teeth come from the Raptor's limbs that's why it it impaled the cop who shot it when it kicked him. The Claws are what grow in it's mouth.
13:51 wasn't the raptor already dead by the time they found him? didn't he blow its head to pieces before dying? did it come back to life and break off a tooth, place it in the corpse, and run off into the sunset?
+Soup Out of curiosity, I know of two. The Thing from Another World and The Thing. The newest The Thing is a Prequel to The Thing. So what is the other other adaptation. I would love to see another version.
Soup I have seen The Thing and The Thing... And both are really well done. Of course The Thing is the better as its the original. But they did respect The Thing in The Thing and made a decent prequel while answering some questions that could of gone not answered. They did not really make any continuity mistakes that I can remember. But it did lack the feeling of unknown The Thing gave throughout mainly because of its prequel status. Still a good movie in my eyes though. And yes, I wrote that to be slightly confusing for the fun of it and to make it a point that naming the prequel The Thing after the original was a bad idea.
The only continuity mistake is that in the Carpenter version the guys watch a tape of the Norwegians blowing up the space ship. In the prequel this doesn't happen. But the makers explain in the commentary track that they couldn't find a realistic excuse for why the Norwegians had all those explosives, enough to blow up this huge space ship, so they left it out. All in all it's not as good as Carpenter's version, but it's definitely not a bad film. I would love to see a version without all the added CGI, they went way overboard with it even though they had great practical effects made...
Decker, ya gotta check out Raptor Ranch. I think it is on Netflix. It also has a different name, which I forget. But, it has a so bad it's good thing going for it. It also has it's own dino special effects too, which are hilarious! Really, check it out! It's right up your alley. Love your reviews as always. Keep up the great work! :)
How the hell does the camera quality keep getting worse with each of these movies? It's like every Carnosaur movie is trying to one-up whatever came before it with how grainy and bland the camera work can be.
+wishmaster98 or maybe it wasnt Project Eden... i remember back in the earlier days of youtube there was a scene from a movie that used Carnosaur scenes like this movie did but there was a CG scene that has Trex that jumps on car of one of the villians but the effect was soo bad that the Trex looked like a puppet cause the body was really small and the head was huge
me watch raptor as a kid freak out because is gory grow up watch carnosaur, think thats the movie i watched as a kid remind the movie watch a review about raptor realized that the movie i watched was raptor all the time freak out of the mandela effect
I remember watching this at very young age and thinking it WAS AWESOME
+dapillnow Ha, when you're a kid almost any action film is awesome. As long as there were some baddies and some action to distract me, I enjoyed anything my parents showed me.
So true! Even more so when the baddies are Dinosaurs!
I remember having the whole Carnosaur collection as a kid and wondering why "Raptor" was just the same movie
"Coulda been the wind maybe"
Stealth increased 46

Well the first movie did have something like that-
If Decker gave this a one out of five I am guessing he never ever ever gives anything a zero
Decker, I think Deep Rising (1998) would be just up your alley.
Wow...I honestly thought I had brought up Raptor in the comment section of your Carnosaur Reviews...
Basically Raptor - to me - is one of the most Shameless movies I've ever seen.
The only movie that tops it is, "Gamera - Super Monster".
How dare you that’s movie is a master peace
11:21 That would terrify me too if I had just woken from a coma, especially after working in retail for 6 years.
Raptor: RAAAGGGHHHHH
Police man: must of been the wind
Decker: what the fuck are you a stealth game enemy
ahh i remember old enemy a.i "Could have been the wind" *Raptor bugging out 2 feet off*
Decker no! You know what what you're doing! I rented this movie on accident once and it was
*review plays*
DECKER NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

" *HELLO* "
Hey Decker awesome job on the movie review, I really enjoyed it and can't wait to see what you review next :) also I happy holidays. Take it easy
I salute you sir..another superb review.
The Eden Formula used footage from Carnosaur it was so bad.
I love Raptor (2001). It’s the best movie ever 10/10.
I think this man has gone through every mustache and beard combo with long hair.
can you do a movie marathon of Phantasm? I watch that movie as a kid and those metal balls gave me nightmares.
Well...
Looks like it happened.

You need to review Terrordactyl!!
The best worst movie ever, like Birdemic with Pterodactyls
Love that music at the end. Very nice.
This movie scared the crap out of me as a kid
It's amazing how you can scrap together an entirely new movie made up of footage from older movies ;p
However, Lorissa McComas' magnificent body is almost worth the admission price
Cougers huh? I like them cougers.
16:15 the guard has no magazine in
While watching this I couldn't get rid of impression that a long face heroine, who destroys evidence with brush, is actually Decker's older sister with even better hair...
That sex scene is almost 8 minutes. I think that qualifies this movie as porn
If this was porn then the movie would be 8 minutes and the sex scene would be the rest of the runtime. 8 minutes is just a really long sex scene.
Or a Jim Wynorski film
Wait what happened to the actress that decker went "oh my"
@@DMCMaster550 Did anything ever come of that petition?
Ok I googled. She was sick for a long time and apparently killed herself.
@@doctorsnakeeater1997 unfortunately it doesn’t look like it and the murderer is still in hiding
that santa baby was amazing
OML Is one of the actors Shawn's dad from Psych? XD
Love your reviews nice work Decker!
Have you considered reviewing Ginger Snaps?

That scene where the truck crashes is from Humanoids from the deep
Wow he could sing the fast part of rap God so fast lol
Thank you for the review, this movie is hard to find. What a shameless monstrosity, stock footage glued with some boring forced scenes! Poor Eric Roberts...
best thing in my sub box, great review as always
Why not Jurassic World or Jaws Revenge?
Knowing what I know about these now. I saw Raptor first... Then drew the comparisons to Carnosaur(s). Roger Corman is into recycling. Environmental friendly or lazy film maker noticeably copy and pasted.
Oh, so *that* is what gets 1/5. Well ... now I know.
So In response to teeth being white. I think I figured it out the Teeth come from the Raptor's limbs that's why it it impaled the cop who shot it when it kicked him. The Claws are what grow in it's mouth.
I remember watching this movie as a kid and being super confused because of all the reused scenes.
6:50 Stuart von Krumpty as Boom Mike
Plan on reviewing King Kong (Peter Jackson Version) or Jurassic World anytime soon?
Reacted to that unusual roar the same way those @$$holes at the beginning of Skyrim did. 'Eh its nothing. Next prisoner!'
Wait, what happened to her?
i just found that there is another sequel: eden formula
Nice Sledgehammer reference that's where I remember Harrison from to
2:34 I am calling it now, the Gorn did it!
Movies on the cheap can be great as you say.
But a movie that is allot of stock footage, ouch that is painful.
will you review a Atlantic rim? or transmorphers?
13:51 wasn't the raptor already dead by the time they found him? didn't he blow its head to pieces before dying? did it come back to life and break off a tooth, place it in the corpse, and run off into the sunset?
Decker can you review the Thing 1982

The mad scientist guy looks like Alton Brown.
Holy shit the dad from pyshic

How the hell does the camera quality keep getting worse with each of these movies?
It's like every Carnosaur movie is trying to one-up whatever came before it with how grainy and bland the camera work can be.
What’s sadder : being an aspiring artist that takes this role
Or
Being an actor in direct to SciFi movies thinking this will help your career?

Yeah where is there a place where a shark can kill or hurt a hiker, a flesh water shark wouldn't be able to get a river in a forest or mountain
Don't you know, vehicles are made of EXPLODIUM!!
Decker, you should of just reviewed this using clips from your other Carnosaur videos
Why don't you review the other carnosaur-related movie, "the eden fomula" aka "Tyrannosaurus Wrecks"?
