- The Founder of Fox Body Mustangs of Peterborough (FBMP) dropped off his 1986 Mustang GT T-Top for a no-start issue. He had tried everything and got frustrated enough with it that he had it flat bedded over!

Pretty sure this is the exact problem I'm having. Replaced fuel pump, distributor, ecm and STILL no fuel injector pulse. Thank you for posting!

One of your best videos so smooth! Your testing is on point! Much love to fox clubs I got a 86 too and did not know wire harness was same but don't mess with interchanging 86 O2 sensor wire harness but I'm sure you know!

Good job. Reassuring to see the basics sometimes. I’ve had dizzy and TFI modules issues with mine in the past. It’s had every type of dizzy and module in it. High quality aftermarket, oem, and crappy aftermarket dizzy and TFI modules. Finally tried a new dizzy from Autozone and it’s been trouble free the last year. Crap, sure hope I didn’t just jinks myself lol

Hi all.I do own an 86 gt that’s pretty much stock.Original computer/internals.If you can get your hand on the old Ford rotunda break out boxes that how my mechanic fixed my idol/starting issues.They pinpoint exactly what’s wrong so no guessing.Hope this helps someone in the future 🙏
Great job Chris, checked everything all the way to the injector harness, then mr. problem was found, do you see
many injector wire harness go bad?

Mine will run but won’t start without shooting starting fluid in the tb hot or cold but runs and drives far ya shoot it with starting fluid has

Hey! Do you have a video of a Mustang 1979 with a 2.8L 171cu Cologne engine?
I have a 1986 Foxbody that will not prime. I’ve replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, starter, relay, reset the inertia switch, battery and still not priming. A couple months back it started up perfect every time, then it would only prime sometimes then it would only prime with jumper cables now it won’t prime at all. Car means a lot to me so any help would be appreciated
If you got wire the pump does it run?
Love the channel! Not dealing with a no start issue but fouling plugs 5 mins after I install new ones! Recently put heads cam and intake in the car and it ran fine at first but just got worse and worse. I've tried about everything except a tune, any ideas would be awesome! Thanks
How's your coolant temp sensor? Also 02's... Something is pouring fuel in...
@@TheInfamousProject haven't tried those yet, tried new maf sensor, new fuel pressure regulator but I'll try the ect first and go from there. Thanks

He doesn't have a clue how to diagnose a no start. Check that the ecu powers on first.

Hey i just changed my fuel pump, fuel injectors and fuel. pressure regulator and still wont start. What do you think it could be?
