So to Chris's point, the last combo in the car was a stock block 306 built shortblock w/Dart iron heads, welded/ported truck lower with a custom made upper, manual steering& brakes, and was running FAST EFI. The exhaust was stainless long tubes into 3" stainless pipe to 2-chamber Flowmasters with dumps. It had a Liberty Gear pro-shifted T-5, 9" rear w/4.11 gears, and a full roll cage good to run 9.99. Suspension was Lakewood 90/10 struts and 50/50 shocks, cut front springs and 4cyl rear springs. Brakes were stock fronts w/5 lug rotors, and Strange racing rear disk brakes. I used to run Street Stock and similar classes, the car was beefed up with the plan of moving up to a faster class and running in the 10's which was fast in ghte early/mid 90's. I'll be happy to tell the full story in person, or in a video or reel after Fox Fest

Damn Chris, I don't what to say other than "thank you!!!". You did such an amazing job on the car and I cant wait to get back behind the wheel and do the car, and your work, proud. This was an amazing experience, you're a true professional and artist! Gotta admit just watching this video is hitting me in the feels a bit. I wish I were closer, but regardless this will always be a TIP build. You turned a ~25 year dream into a reality, and I hope my car takes its place in the Foxbody world. Cant wait to see you guys in "Detroit", and meet a bunch of new people too!

Hey Chris, was over a Hot Rod Scott's last Thursday when a rather clean orange vert came in. Full Dech package car. Black roof with a custom matched interior. Just happened to mention your channel and the whole place, the owner, the staff were all singing their praise for what you do. Not a single person had a negative comment. One thing that QA1 doesn't tell you in their sales info is that their K- member raises the engine 1/2" higher than stock. I dealt with this when I replaced the k member on my car. I needed spacer plates.
So they made your job a little harder in making that stock hood fit the raised blower.
But you killed this one, it's super clean. Great job Chris.

@@TheInfamousProject I found out the hard way lol. Couldn't close the hood on a standard Vortech V3 install because it was hitting the hood bracing. I found something online which made me call QA1 and they were like, oh BTW....
I made 1/2" plates and they sent me a bumpsteer kit for my trouble. It worked out in the end but it's info that should be out there for everyone. Builds aren't easy as it is.

What an incredible build. Every little detail carefully thought through and done with an Infamous touch. The coconut air freshener puts it over the top…one of those is always in my 88 coupe. The painted front splitter looks amazing as well. Good call on that. Congrats Chuck and Chris!
Hate to admit but I was the WTF, he put an air freshener in my car? LOL. 😂. Ive never been had them in my cars. But I have to admit that yet again Chris knows what he's talking about because the coconut does smell good. Smells like the 90s.

Thank you! I do consider myself very lucky. Lucky that Chris agreed to do my build, and lucky to own this amazing car. But it took a lot of time and hard work to get to a point where this is a reality.

I still miss my 1989 LX DECH with my .351 Cleveland and Crown Royal medium flake Blue. Take that Hatch Boy! It towed my 1998 Kawasaki 750 SXI Dbl Carb Jet-ski. That was tuned too. Miss those days but wife wanted a house to live in.

Awesome update, Chris! That’s a top notch conclusion or wrap-up to Chuck’s ‘91 GT! That being said, the silver terminator cobra in the background did also catch my attention. Are there any early or juicy tidbits that you can share with me on that potential project? I appreciate all of your hard work brother!

I had a 1990 GT the same color I think(titanium) and I also had the 93 cobra wheels on it. Your build is much cleaner though and looks really cool lowered. 👍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I hate to say it but car is too nice to drive now. Great job on the build, looks awesome.
In some ways, but it will be driven! I'll trailer to out of state shows, but its going to be used. Keep in mind that a "minty" original paint car isn't as perfect as say War Admiral, so it has a few stories to tell of its past life, but I think that almost makes it more cool. Now, that amazing engine bay is perfect, and the interior is pretty close.

The Recaros, or how the original seats were shipped back? Chris was very careful how he packed the car and there were no issues in transport. And I really like the Recaros, plus the fact they were for one of his projects makes them even more special.

Question? Why use a entena delete plate when you can Weld it shut. The original paint? And also do you know the car foxy brown and how the glass work is modern and has no trim around it. That little detail is sick!!!
