@SpeedyGonzales -- would you please consider putting together a video of how you develop a load for your short range benchrest rifle?

I heard this last year and enjoyed it so much that I decided to listen to it again. Speedy did a wonderful job and so did his guest, EC.

I am a 73 yr old shooter just starting in long range. I listen to many but especially Eric. Again, I am just beginning and I don’t even reload for myself. I just bought a Savage 110 Mdl. 10 in 6.5 Creedmore. I mounted an Arken scope and intend to shoot long range. Although I am on a budget and have to ease into the long range, I am hungry for information.

One question I didn't hear... what is your acceptable SD/ES. You say low, but what is the highest acceptable SD/ES for you?

When talking about bullet seating ,what do you mean when you talk about tipping a bullet. I know when I load bullets I find all the tips on the bullets are different . So this is how I understand it. Find your jam , measure that bullet seated depth, then back it off 0.20 thousands from that length. wright that info down .And then start reloading your prepared brass, and no matter what the total length for each bullet ,you must not change the set length of die after setting it back the 0.20 from jam. Because as I understand it the cup in the die touches the ogive of the bullet and not the tip .Am I understanding it wright.

Tipping a bullet refers to using a pointing tool as far as I understand it. Maybe that's not what you meant
