THE NEW SEB NEO-X, MEETS SPEEDY GONZALEZ IN A BENCHREST TEST. "THAT'S ALL, KEEP'EM SMALL"
I appreciate both of you for sharing your knowledge with the rest of us. It means a lot to people like me. Thank you both!
Do you think you will be starting your Patreon soon. While I’ve been machining for 35 years and building rifles most of that time I’d be interested in learning from someone with your experience and reputation
Can’t wait for that pronouncement to get broke out at a match. Ricky Bobby needs to be there for support
Looks sweet! Super clean theads
Sweet!
Sometimes a master needs to make sure the apprentice is listening….
I hear Mr. Gonzalez…
Man that is some nice looking work!
I've always been interested in trying this. I just have no idea where to start. Are these bullets for short-range bench rest? Are you making any berger LRHT counterparts? Thanks for making these videos!
So it's been five months, how are you liking the new machine ? We need an update video.
Just curious, would you suggest one of these presses over a Corbin press to make bullets? I was looking at a Corbin until I seen this video.
The "o-jiv" section was hilarious!!!
Speedy is a apprentice job opening up for your shop 😂? Damn impressive to learn from you 👍🏻
Love your videos. So much info is available. Keep up the good work.
I've been loading for over 40 years and have never seen that before. It sounds like that press cost more than all my stuff put together..
Please make a bullet making series....
I wish more benchrest shooters and br gunsmiths would do videos. You folks have a lot of knowledge and experience to share and without these videos all that knowledge would be impossible to find. Very few dedicated benchrest books out there..
Finely someone doing some good bullet making content!
I am following this, and all of your videos, closely, Speedy. I have a Lenzi and a good friend and hall of fame shooter who lives about 15 minutes from me will be guiding me through the bullet making process. You mentioned putting the punch through your finger...my buddy has done that several times (you know him pretty well). I have made a shroud for my remington-based custom action out of Delrin AF and initial testing is promising. I followed the modifications that you mentioned on Eric's videos and it definitely did not take away any accuracy potential in the gun. The original shroud had galled and after lapping it with the firing pin it shot better, but I had to try this idea to see if it had any merit. Thank you for all your effort and passing on information to the next generation of benchrest shooters!
About time you got some Videos loaded.lol 😂
Pretty cool, you make it look easy................. thanks for sharing
Unique press!
Excellent stuff! Can't wait for the patreon.
Man, I bet it takes you 40 hours to load for a match. Start to finish
Thank you Speedy Great video and super interesting
Where do you buy your jackets? Or do you make the jackets too? If you ever need a new grass hopper....let me know ...
Maybe the ejector plate could be a round plate. Infinite adjustment....🤷
Or ream the L shaped bracket to the outside diameter of the threaded rod to where it slides up and down the rod and it’s infinitely adjustable by the nut on top and the nut on bottom
Great review Speedy! Just the right amount of entertainment laced into a lot of technical information.
Just here to leave a comment to help the algorithm, good to see your channel speedy
Unfortunately it comes with other Bags on the rest. Do you know if the shown bags are available? I have received mine this week. It does not come with a bag. What bag do you recommend? Thanks!
I am a 73 yr old shooter just starting in long range. I listen to many but especially Eric. Again, I am just beginning and I don’t even reload for myself. I just bought a Savage 110 Mdl. 10 in 6.5 Creedmore. I mounted an Arken scope and intend to shoot long range. Although I am on a budget and have to ease into the long range, I am hungry for information.
I was very disappointed and frankly annoyed that the pictured case in all of the reviews was not supplied with the final product.
Please make more videos I learned so much Thank you
I heard this last year and enjoyed it so much that I decided to listen to it again. Speedy did a wonderful job and so did his guest, EC.
When talking about bullet seating ,what do you mean when you talk about tipping a bullet. I know when I load bullets I find all the tips on the bullets are different . So this is how I understand it. Find your jam , measure that bullet seated depth, then back it off 0.20 thousands from that length. wright that info down .And then start reloading your prepared brass, and no matter what the total length for each bullet ,you must not change the set length of die after setting it back the 0.20 from jam. Because as I understand it the cup in the die touches the ogive of the bullet and not the tip .Am I understanding it wright.
Tipping a bullet refers to using a pointing tool as far as I understand it. Maybe that's not what you meant
para pedir este producto como se puede hacer? gracias.
you guys shoot 100 yards...you don't even need good bullets for that. 😂😂😂
Last time that I checked, they shoot 1000 yards.
Great video speedy
Thank you Speedy!
Thanks for the video Speedy. I just got my first lathe this past year. Well taken care of Taiwanese belt drive. The best part is it came with a shooter and gunsmith who showed me how to chamber through the headstock using a pusher setup. This week I finished working up loads for my first barrel that I completed last week including profiling, and it's the best shooting barrel I have ever owned....and I am just getting started.
V ways no v ways its not the machine that counts its the man running it.
Great Vid👍👍👍👍👍👍🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯
Nice machine.. the Sharp looked brand new.. I hope you donate it to Steve L. Aint he down in your part of the world now?
Cazenueva is the best No other lathe compares !!!
Great video Speedy, looking forward to the next video, I'd really like to see your analog+digital interface process.
Very entertaining
Definitely got a sub from me!
Thanks for sharing! I look forward to more videos!
Coffee 😂😂😂
I took Gordy’s class 9 months ago, I would love to learn your method and see more videos. I’m certain time is your issue but it sure would be cool to see it. Congrats on the new Lathe 👍
Agreed, I also took Gordy's class and would love to see your method as well
