That's a pretty awesome list, BUT you're missing some of the greatest shooters of all time from the Turbo. Blazing Lazers, Gate of thunder, Lords of Thunder Soldier Blade and Super Star Soldier!
@@BoboBreez That's true, but I don't know about the TurboGrafx 16/PC Engine as much as I never got that system yet. I did hear about those games you listed though and they should be included.

If you tap the button it's the standard shot instead of the beam which makes it easier to shoot and dodge because while tapping you still do damage and move much quicker
More Saturn videos for sure, I've had the Saturn system for a long ass time, but so hard to find games. My only games are Daytona, Road Rash, Area 51, Clockwork Knights, Wipeout and World Series Baseball II and of course... Virtua Fighter Something I look forward to expanding.
Treasure's Radiant Silvergun is one of the best games ever made. Layer Section & Darius Gaiden are pretty awesome as well. Both Strikers 1945 games are on the Saturn too.😋
Two shoot-em-ups I really enjoyed on the Saturn were Gekirindan and Guardian Force. I don't think they are considered top-tier games or anything but I really enjoyed them. Maybe you could run those sometime.

Man I need to build my Saturn library...all I've got so far - Virtua Cop, Area 51(and orange Stunner light gun), Bug!, Robotica (Deadalus), Corpse Killer Graveyard Edition...and maybe one more I can't recall...yet it's my favourite system...it's just so pricey to get a hold of anything decent.

Battle Garegga has an option in the menus that makes the bullets pink/orbs. If that’s your thing. Also...Batsugun, Kingdom Grand Prix, Sengoku Blade. I would suggest Radiant Silvergun, but beating its definitive mode is time consuming unless you’re a shmup god.

I always thought this game is called DoDonpachi, but apparently thats kinda like a sequel to this :D CAVE 100% makes the best shooters & bullet hell games! You should check Dodonpachi on mobile, its actually a great game. These games are a great balance of difficulty, skill and fun.
tapping the button and play with a wide shot or press down the button for a stronger laser. its a constant switching. also you are faster with the wide shoot and slower with the laser ;) sorry but you played it wrong ...

I bought a PS Classic specifically to play this one...of course i had to install autobleem. 😉

For battle garegga you have to go into the options and select the red ball bullet option makes them more visible

It looked like if you tapped the fire button, you would get a multi directional shot.

Next Saturn shmup should be Battle Garegga. It's the game that the crew of Armed Police Batrider made before that one.

Check out the shooters on Taito Legends Volume 2 (PS2). It's got Grid Seeker, G-Darius, Gekirindan, and probably some others.
