The thing about the Vanquish streams is A) you played thru it twice back to back and B) the game just looks kinda samey no matter what point you're at in the game, at least it did to me, and I didn't find the setting unique or particularly aesthetically pleasing at all. I just looked like Halo 3rd person with a smaller color palette to me. I'd much rather have watched The Wizard of Oz again, or Super Adventure Island, or even Castlevania: Lord of Shadows (3 games I've never played but still find interesting/pretty). Even still, I watched all the Vanquish streams, and your continually loosening grip on what little sanity you have left never fails to entertain.
Mike i watched your stream about StarFox 64. So i think you should try Cowboy Bebop for PS1. It is similar rail shooter, not overly long and pretty fun.
Hey mike, love ur channel.i was wondering if there is still something to do whit TMNT for you,i know you beat the original on many ways and the hardest hack "ultimate" it's insanely difficult 😂 not sure if u beated yet(found it thanks to your old video), i am on the airport and i thinking on giving up.i love the original game and kinda nostalgic about it but maybe ur able to beat this hack or do another challenge on the original?...anyway play whatever u want of course, i guess because there is laser guys on the airport i'm loosing my turtles whit scrolls and basically getting my ass kicked ,was wondering if u plan to go back to this hack someday. There are scrolls to farm before April and before Splinter but once u manage to arrive to the airport is sooo harcore...just want to share my frustration whit another fan of TMNT🤣...have a nice hollydays and merry Christmas ❤🎄
Does Mike have a regular stream schedule or does he just kind of go when he can? I prefer watching this style of video live and just re-download Twitch specifically to watch Mike.
This is a Japanese Contra version so there was always a map between levels (and animated backgrounds as rest of the worst got worse cheaper cartridge).
I dont know if its related, but in dead pools universe, death is a lady, and hes madly in love with her. She loves him too (mostly), bit they can never be together because he cant actually die. Not sure if that's what the skull represents, but there you go. Hope it sheds some light.
If I were you Mike, I would steer clear of any hack with Deadpool in it. Not decrying the quality of this or the Ninja Gaiden hack you played through a couple of years ago, but I would think that Deadpool hacks would be the most certain ones containing all the stuff you hate in their cutscenes or dialogues (as in the stuff you mentioned during the Zelda II: Paracosm that you loathed like yeet, yolo etc.). Then again, you can still try them out and if they have stuff like this, you call still use the fucking finger to turn them off. Contra...one of these days I really need to put some time into beating the vanilla version of this just so I can put it off my plate. Growing up, I was too comfy playing games that had save states or passwords and stuff, so I never really played games with limited lives or continues where you have to start over from the beginning. While I still prefer having games where I can save in between (because I am not the type of gamer to sit for 4-5 hours playing games), I have decided to make an effort in playing more platformers/shmups that have limited lives / continues. Currently practicing Strider on Sega Genesis to eventually beat it and I also have the arcade version of 1942 that I want to 1cc and hopefully adding more games that I can beat in this manner. Also agree with Bubba Duck sucking. In general, while I like Ducktales, I mostly prefer the first season where they did more adventure stories and the show was animated by TMS and it at least adhered more to the style of stories Carl Barks would tell (albeit with unnecessary characters). The season where they added Bubba Duck and Fenton Crackshell / Gizmoduck is wehere the show fell off for me and I lost interest so I usually pretend those seasons don't exist. Game that is missing from your Games I've Beaten On Stream list: -The Legend of Zelda: Allhallows Eve (...not sure where to put it since you don't have a SNES Hacks/Homebrews/Unreleased section. Maybe a good starting point to open up that section? :)) -Star Fox 64 (N64)
Chime in here real quick. You have, relatively limitless lives, perhaps, because Deadpool has the healing factor/regeneration. Basically immortal. Maybe it's to reference the Konami Code. Character is drenched in meta.
Here is a hack idea for Philips CD-I ,Crime Patrol Gotham City edition. and they have to literally act out the scenes in it dressed like batman man and other characters 🤣
2:33:50 Manbaby Gaming - "Put Me Back"
I wish someone would do a compilation of these.
does holding UP on the second controller angle the weapon in the third person tunnel stage like it does on the NES Contra?
Must be mandela effect but this looks totally different from what i remember from childhood ...??
Considering Deadpool's ridiculous healing abilities, he really seems like the best mercenary for the job.
I agree. The Vectrex is great. That's what I started with.
Deadpool Contra? This is my cup of Tea. 🙂
This is a hack version of Gryzor, released in Japan! I'm curious about this!
It was really hard to hack the Japanese version but we pulled through.
@@dangerx6979 you did great job bro making a hack version like this!!

@mikematei Thanks a lot Mike. I appreciate your work! Keep doing your thing.
built off the back of the famicom version of contra, hence the map screen and waving jungle trees
This is a Japanese Contra version so there was always a map between levels (and animated backgrounds as rest of the worst got worse cheaper cartridge).
Curious about this..
Keep up the good fight Mike!
Mike, sometimes when you yell at the game you remind me of Sam Kinison. Do you remember him? Big stand up comedian in the 70's
Lol doing Uber deliveres while watching some gameplay lol
A He-Man game that plays like Diablo 2 would be a cool hack or mod.
Totally agree
@@mikemateiYeah,100% I think alot of franchises could go that route and do great.
The kid w mouth sores he said herpes wrong
Mike would have a regular 9-5 job if not for Mrs. Crabapple.
this is very cool
Skull is an awesome name
