Was introduced to this game via my cousin, loved it. you must use the slide mike, use the slide function; slide like you're a fuckin penguin. Also see the cracks in the walls you can destroy them as the grim reaper make shortcuts.
Yes the victims can die...that's the whole point of the game lol that's why part 1 was called zombies ate my neighbors. You gotta rescue them and if they kill them all its game over. The less victims you have the easier the game get but obviously if he dies it's game over...can't believe you didn't know that lol part 1 it's way better and has better music too and it's more responsive.
you gotta do zombies ate my neighbors man! it's a mighty challenge you'll have to dedicate a few days to. to learn the levels, what weapons work best on what enemies, what neighbors to rescue before others, the importance of conserving ammo, the tricks to get bonus points to get extra lives. it's tough, but it becomes super addicting, and gets super tense!!! SO rewarding feeling when you beat it finally. definitely a top 10 SNES game for me. I hope one day Mike attempts it.

From what i heard they couldnt call this one zombies ate my nieghbors, bc of licensing issues or something, it was made by different company i think, i forget but there was a reason for it, i believe john handonmycock, talked about it on a video few years back, someone did idk lolol.. sry that whole comment made no sense, i realize this, but the point is there was a reason they changed the name, but i cant remember for the life of me why right now lol
the soundtrack in the "oriental" Japanese Biome is so stereotypical "oriental" music from the 60s - 2000s like that dididi - dede - doo doo - doo but they altered it to be "dark".
Cant help but feel this game has a lacking soundtrack and less precise controls than ZAMN. something about the challenging gameplay and rapid pacing of the precursor to Ghoul Patrol makes it superior.
I had lots of master of universe figures, was too old for teenage mutant turtles. Turtles seem to have personas. Masters characters usually had no personality. Just muscles and their own type form of violence.
zombies ate my neighbors is superior. its definitely a hard game. it might have a bit of repetitiveness. only problem is when yu use a password all your items are gone. so you cant game over at all the whole play through
For me this game was always kinda disappointment. It's just not as fun to play as the original. In my opinion original has better controls, better music, more variety in weapons and cooler enemies.
How did you play through this and not comprehend 2 major things 1. You can use the deaths of victims to your advantage and 2. The grim reaper can knock down doors those basic points drove me crazy watching this crap shoot

You really should try Jim Power 3D in the lost dimension. Really crazy game for the SNES.
I think the slide button might help to get away from enemies when they jump you

Love the shout balloons. That must really add to the fun factor by eliminating the aggrevation of map combing
