Also enter tournaments where u travel and occasionally play against some minor league ball clubs... my team would go scrimmage against smaller universities and all the JuCo's in the state

All their bats are $179 now and they are only doing direct to consumer. I'm glad you guys have a review as usual. I may have to pick one up when their production catches up apparently they're working 7 days a week to meet demand.
I'm a bit surprised that you've never made a video about beechwood bats. I know it isn't a common type of timber in the US, but some MLB players use beechwood bats. I read somewhere that Louisville Slugger even tried beechwood for a potential new line, and got very good results in terms of performance and durability, but their subject players disliked the sound, so the company didn't pursue it in the end. There are other manufacturers that use it, though, such as Axe and Yaya. I live in Central Europe and here beechwood is easy to find and cheap. I make my own bats out of beech in the traditional way, with a lathe and hand tools. It would be great if you could get one pure beechwood bat and try it in one of your videos.
Maybe there's a difference in Beech species in North America vs Europe. American Beech is a decently hard wood (about the same as some oaks), but ours here in the States tends to have a lot of movement in the wood even after it's fully dried. It's common in furniture, especially bentwood furniture. Kind of a plain looking wood too. Not that highly figured grain is all that important in a bat. American Beech is very common in the Eastern half of the USA though.

You guys should try some Old Hickory bats. I’ve always had good luck with those lasting a long time, and they have been good quality. I swing a Old Hickory TC1.
I'm a woodworker, so when you laminate different pieces of wood with wood glue it actually makes the glue joint stronger than the adjoining wood (assuming you're not gluing end grain), so if the wood breaks it never breaks there. This construction is pretty ingenious, and the combo with different hardwoods doesn't surprise me that it makes it really durable. Are things thing legal for competition?

You guys should look into Hoosier Bats. They are a wood bat company that uses 3 different types of wood (ash handle, hickory sweet spot, maple end). Had a fungo from them it was wild.

They are BBCOR certified, but as 'HIT hard BUT foul' pointed out, they are not legal for pro play (yet).
