I fractured my hamate hook recently and see ballplayers go down with the same injury all the time. I have to imagine this would help mitigate that too.

It wouldnt be advisable because axe reinforces the side of the bat that the knob causes you to hit with repeatedly

All sounds great if you actually have data on "more" power transfer...most people have a problem with making contact, not power transfer...
If you can't make contact with the ball than you shouldn't play baseball
this bat is made for a more power hitter anyway
