In addition getting soft mats in front of the aquariums could help? I have some in my kitchen. (osteoarthritis throughout) 🤷‍♂️ 💕

I already have them, and always have- its just not enough. Between standing to catch, then to bag, then carrying out- I just cannot do it.

@@chrissy24-7 The mats don't help once your joints are bad enough.
I've got degenerative joint disease in it's final stages in both knees and hips. They all need replacement.
When I could work I could feel the difference between reinforced concrete and regular (soft) concrete just by the amount of pain it would put me in.

Love this tank because I love loaches. My favorite fish. I have 3 different kinds of them. Two of dojos eat out of hand and just lay in my hand. Best wishes to moving the tank Rachel. I'm disabled and moving smaller tanks then you have is alot of work. 💖🐟🐡🦐😊

Hello Rachel, I have enjoyed this beautiful and inspiring tank from the first time I saw it on here. As bittersweet (and daunting) as it is to have to dismantle it and relocate it, I see it as a FANTASTIC opportunity to rebuild it using the things you learned from it and then passed along to us over the last 4 years. From the sounds of it, if it can make your work surface / shipping station more comfortable, safe, and efficient, then we all win in that case. This tank has been an absolute JOY to watch over time and now I absolutely cannot wait to see your Hillstream 2.0 Remixed tank! We all can continue to get our fixes while watching replays of the Hillstream content that you have posted. Be careful and take good care of yourself during all of the tank shuffling that you will be doing. I will be waiting at the finish line and cheering you all the way - you got this!

Thanks so much for sharing so many videos of this tank!! It inspired my 75 gallon hillstream which is now over a year old. I had never kept any of these kinds of fish before and they've thrived in this tank. One note is that rhinogobius rubromaculatus are larger than other types and will eat smaller danios and rasboras. All of the others are peaceful!

Thanks so much for sharing with us. When you decide to restock please consider Botia kubotai in odd numbers. They are very entertaining in a hillsteam tank The more the merrier with these guys. Maybe breed ?

Can’t wait to see the renew of the 150. Are you planning to paint the back of the tank?
