I just wish Suzuki had priced it slightly more aggressively to pass on the benefits to the customers.😄👍🏽

Suzuki 250 engine is gem, I have rode vstorm and ktm adv.. For the sake of reliability vstorm makes sense in India.... Both are adv tourers and no way they are serious off roaders
I had ktm till last month.. and the way I used to spend fr evry 3000 km even after self chain lube was pain..... now going for suzuki should see.... very informative brother thanks
Such a nice points explained, but I think some how KTM 250 ADV justify the 30k over the V-Strom. If budget & maintenance cost is not the problem, then go with the KTM 250 ADV
That’s true brother. For a price premium of 30k, KTM is offering nearly 20% more power, dual overhead cam liquid cooled engine, better and more sophisticated longer travel suspension (both front and rear), better brakes, switchable ABS and it comes equipped with Slip & Assist clutch and feels quite modern overall. Usually buyers take a loan and stretching the budget to get the KTM will increase monthly payments by mere 1200 Rs or so, for a 2 year loan (at 10% interest rate), which isn’t as bad I think.
@@FTRClub But one thing people emphasizing more is refined motor of vstrom. But I also heard that 250 cc ktm motor is also most rifined in ktm family. Is there a big difference between refinement of both engines? If we give vstrom refinement 9 out of 10, what score you will give to adv 250 refinement?
There’s no doubt that the 250 is one of the smoothest engine available from the house of KTM as of today. Just that the Suzuki is a tad bit more refined. If the Suzuki is 9/10, I’d say the KTM is 7.5/10. The only issue with the KTM’s power delivery is that there’s a near flat deal spot between 3000-5000 rpm and that is strongly felt in 3rd and 4th gear. Suzuki on the other hand is more tractable and does show any flat spots anywhere in the revv band. I hope this helps. I'm planning to buy suzuki v-strom & this helped me a lot🔥tq & (why No for ktm is it doesn't even look like an Adv that's my opinion only🤷♂️) & this single video made me hit the subscribe button 🧡
To be frank..I love suzukis... but at the same price here in Mumbai I'm getting a yezdi adventure and that looks like a real adv...more bhp and torque, more ground clearance, 3 modes for abs , including rain, they may come with a adjustable windscreen. It's a tempting thing for me as it also has navigation . The suzuki doesn't have any of the above except navigation...and is just a upgraded gixxer. So do think about it. Plus ur dealer may give u in the price accessories like the combined tank and engine guard, knuckle guards and top rack....so bargain good. With yezdi ur the cusotmer and have the upper hand so u can get a good deal. In the 2.5 hrs I spent there...I was rhe only walk in customer ...infact only customer. The owners specifically talked to me and offered the deals...not sales exec.
Also the fact that anyone sees you on a KTM immediately assumes you might be a chappri. 😂 Though KTMs have a hate it or love it look and the machines are definitely great, these chappris have ruined their perception. 😂
Go for Suzuki less maintenance good mileage reliability smoothness telescopic suspensions are hazel free than upside down forks ( understand the purpose Both bikes are adventure TOURER ) before you expect long suspension travel like Xpulse / Himalayan Ktm's are not reliable machine gives thrill but along with that huge headache in maintenance wise
Actually reliability depends upon the owner’s care but its true KTM need more care ..{More power=less reliability}..KTM is benchmark for performance with high compression ratio, DOHC and complex engineering does make maintenance expensive.. But for 30k more you’re getting better suspension, better brakes, almunium swing-arm, liquid cooled dohc engine, better parts quality overall I own a KTM…Its so fun to ride and i bet most owners don’t care about mileage and reliability cuz it checks other boxes
@@lymphoma3313 Lots of video on TH-cam Suzuki Gixxer sf 250 26.5bhp easy beat KTM 250 30bhp... Also beat with price, milega, maintenance, parts price and Engine Reliability and Suzuki engine is world class 👈👍

I’ve heard that Suzuki Gixxer 250 & SF 250 have a low maintenance cost. Since, I don’t own one, hence I cannot comment. And I agree that Suzuki has dealerships than KTM across any city in India.
Here’s a FB page that I’d encourage you and people you know might be buying the V-Strom SX to join This is to help people across India share their experiences about the V-Strom and mods/accessories etc that they have got for their bikes. facebook.com/groups/537147981225955/?ref=share
Good review... i would go for the vstorm just because of a mellowed engine compared to the HYPERACTIVE ktm ... power delivery can be compared to a HAND DRILL with regulated inremental speeds and an ANGLE GRINDER which goes beserk and can twist your wrist ( power tool analogy)
i own both ktm adventure 250 and vstrom 250, Vstrom is much much better option… mileage, handling, comfort. Except top speed and pickup. Vstrom is better and very forgiving too
Very nice review👌 I will buy the VStrom 250 SX if Suzuki increase the suspension travel, increase the tank capacity to 15 litres, slightly taller handlebars with a revised peg position for ease of riding when standing up on the pegs, also give switchtable ABS and a stronger light.
Australia is one of the major and most crucial markets for all motorcycle manufacturers. I am sure you guys would get both these models, unlike India where KTM might not launch the Enduro version. I assume by Aus you meant Australia. Or did you mean Austria 😁
Depends on what you plan to do. If you are seeking hardcore off-roading, get the Xpulse. If it’s mostly touring with occasional off-road then VStrom is definitely better.
Radially mounted calipers are also more rigid because the caliper is secured at both ends. On regular axial calipers, they are attached at just one end. The improved alignment and rigidity of radial calipers provide better bite and more stopping power with a better feel under aggressive braking. Hope this helps buddy.
I had experience with both bikes, my vote for vstrom .... Reasons below 1. Mileage 2.neet performance 3.weight management is easy 4.back suspension little hard but its needed for off road 5.service cost is ok compare with ktm😅 6. Also vehicle cost is low copmare wih ktm 250😅
Video is super informative and very useful in layman terms to make a proper decision for viewers. Please include mileage as well that will fulfil the video
Sure 👍 My riding style a little towards the aggressive end of the spectrum and I usually don't get very good fuel economy figures. The numbers that I would give might be deceiving for the viewers and that's the reason why I don't post them. However, I will try it from next time.
KTM has upside-down front suspension, better rear swingarm, liquid-cooled engine with more power. All these cannot be fitted as aftermarket products. For 30k extra, KTM is worth it. For daily use, vstrom is enough. I wish Suzuki give USD forks or at least thicker, longer-travel forks for Vstrom 250 in future. That would be great.
v storm SX is just the Gixxer in v storm disguise. the suspension travel and ride quality is same as the Gixxer. KTM is semi adventure bike with added suspension travel. that makes it more reliable for adventure touring.
Quite true. For the added cost, KTM is definitely a better bike as an ADVENTURE machine compared to the Suzuki and experienced riders will definitely appreciate the KTM a bit more than the Suzuki. The only one thing that Suzuki missed on the V-Strom is the suspension travel. Else it's a wonderful all-round package.
Thanks a lot for the kind words brother. KTM has slightly stiffer suspension and seat too is stiff, which makes it better for long distance touring. Suzuki on the other hand, has a comparatively softer suspension and as the bike runs more, the springs will loosen out a bit, making it softer. I personally liked the overall posture of the KTM as you sit higher and have a more commanding position and that engine compliments the riding dynamics more. For riding comfort, the Suzuki V-Strom SX is the winner. :) Please don't forget to share the video and encourage people to subscribe, if you liked the content. It would mean a lot.
If you want a hardcore off-road bike & you will not carry a pillion, XPulse is best in business. It’s cheaper by at least 1lakh from every other bike, great mileage and very cheap to maintain. Plus you can find Hero service centre in any corner of the country. If you plan to carry a pillion and luggage plus you planning for lot of off-roading and don’t mind cruising at 90-100kmph, then Himalayan is a good option. If your main priority is comfort and long distance touring with good fuel economy and refinement, get the VStrom. It can cruise effortlessly at 120+ and has the best seat among all. The engine is most refined among others plus it also has the best build quality. If you are tall person like 5’11” or over 6feet KTM will suit you the best. The suspension is slightly stiff and the spare parts aren’t readily available even in the authorised service centres. I hope this helps brother. 🙏🏼
Yeah, buddy. It may be a bit challenging but a 5’6” guy can be on tiptoes and yet balance the bike as it doesn’t really weight a lot. However, it’s ideal to test ride and feel comfortable before making a decision
I haven't heard of rusting issues yet. The only concern owner's are having is the poor life of the brake pads. Else people are quite happy with the VStrom.
Suzuki hasn't disclosed the official numbers for the suspension travel of the V-Strom, however it is identical to what comes in Gixxer 250 and Gixxer 250-SF. KTM Adventure on the other hand gets 170mm front and 177mm rear suspension travel. I hope this helps, brother.
Honestly, neither bike has any vibrations to talk about. Suzuki is smooth and butter and KTM is characterful. There’s quite literally nothing to compare about on either bike, on the engine front. Both can comfortably cruise at 105-110 all day long without any hassle.
Low end definitely KTM pulls stronger than the V-Strom, but the Suzuki engine runs very smooth comparatively. The Suzuki is however better for city traffic as at lower speeds Suzuki can be in 3rd gear but KTM will have to be in 2nd.
I am glad you liked it, brother. The KTM's engine runs quite higher compression ratio of 12.5:1 compared to 10.7:1 on the Suzuki and hence the engine tends to heat up much faster, which isn't the case in the Suzuki. There's no doubt that the SOCS on the Suzuki works flawlessly.
I owned vstrom 250 till now I have driven 170 km not a single time I have experienced heat issue not a single time I have thought that 250 engine also get heated up... BRO Best machine
Good to hear that Abhi bhai. The engine heat builds up mostly in dense city traffic. SOCS is known to work flawlessly across Indian conditions anyways.
It would be awesome if you join this Facebook group and share your experiences with other V-Strom SX owners facebook.com/groups/537147981225955/?ref=share
I absolutely agree with you. I own 390 adventure & suggest people to go with 390 adventure if budget is not an issue. I don't think 250 adventure is worth the price it is ask for. Instead of 250 adventure wait for an year & get the 450x himalayan next year or wait for the hero xpulse 400 new model next year. That would be a smart decision. Suzuki 250 will soon feel underpowered & lack of turning off abs makes it an underperforming bike offroad.
Agree. KTM-Bajaj should either address the price of the Adv 250 or provide some more features like LED headlight and slightly softer suspension. Adv 390 is definitely a remarkable value for money product and there’s no beating that thing.
You compared a 250 bike with 400cc's😂 If looking for 400 then ktm adv in obvious. But under 250 it's aj absolute no nonsense bike, with much better engine than KTM much smoother
I’d have suggested the VStrom SX but off late owners are facing countless issues with VStrom and service centres are not able to fix those. If seat height isn’t a problem, I’d recommend KTM Adventure 250. Meteor is a comfortable bike, but at slightly higher price KTM is much more advanced and has a better performing engine.
Yeah absolutely. One of my closest friend is 5.6 and he rides Adv 390. I am 5.8 and I can keep both feet on the ground, not flat, but I am comfortable & I don’t feel nervous at all.
@@FTRClub thanks mate I will test ride the ktm and will decide i really liked it when i saw it in real! I was thinking to buy one in may end but then i was sceptical about the upcoming rainy season. So now thinking to get one after the rainy season so that i can enjoy it at its best :) whats ur opinion btw
Most certainly, there’s no denying that Suzuki engines are quite literally bulletproof and they have proven it across multiple segments, starting from the DRZ series to the 650 SV to the flagship Busa.
New to biking new to off reading bollocks if you want cheap quality Bajaj that sound like an auto choose the ktm you will enjoy cheap quality product. But if your a mature rider and take quality and reliability seriously take a suzuki. You can never go wrong with Japanese motorcycles.
Well Suzuki owners are already complaining about multiple issues vibrations, poor life of brake pads, coneset issues etc. Seems like Suzuki needs to tighten up their quality control. But yes, even the most poorly made Suzuki will be a lot better than a well built KTM (atleast in India).
@ChandanKumarDN Suzuki parts are readily available across all service centres. Moreover the life of parts is significantly better than KTM and Suzuki parts are cheaper as well.
I am not able to get hold of a Yezdi Adventure brother. Moreover, I visit the showrooms alone usually convincing either showroom to allow me to take their bike to another one for comparison. In this case, KTM folks were gentle enough to lend me the bike. Usually showrooms see that the channel isn’t popular enough, they deny giving the bike for more than 10 minutes I will try making a Yezdi Adv vs V-Strom SX sometime in the coming week.
I am planning to buy an adv bike , would you suggest to wait for some more time or suggest to go with SX250 or KTM. I am personally not a fan of Yezdi and Himalayan.
If your purpose is primarily touring and occasional off-road then I’d recommend you to go with VStrom SX. It’s a brilliant tourer which can do a decent bit of off-roading too. Main advantages of VStrom are that it runs smoother and cooler than KTM and then the life of parts like Clutch plates, chain sprocket, brake pads etc is nearly double on VStrom. Say, if KTM parts will need replacement after 10,000kms, Suzuki parts will live for 20,000 kms before they need to be replaced. However, if you are planning for frequent off-roading then I’d recommend you to wait for the upcoming bikes. Next 6 months, we are expecting Advs from Hero, GasGas and Husqvarna as well.
Ktm 250 adventure is more powerful and faster good High long exhaust which will help in crossing river, stream, vstrom 250 is cheaper,Lesser heat and,low service and maintenance cost
Agree. The reason why KTM requires more to be spent on service is coz KTMs are usually ridden hard due to their power delivery. This causes more strain on the engine internals as well as chain and sprocket plus more usage of brakes. Suzuki on the other hand isn’t usually ridden as hard and above all the life of Suzuki’s stock parts it significantly higher than KTM.
Hey buddy, I assume you are talking about the Saari guard, fixed on the left side above the drive chain. It’s a mandatory accessory from Ministry of Road Transport, Govt of India. It is designed to protect the traditional dresses women in India wear (primarily Saree) while being a passenger, from getting tangled/stuck in the rear wheel.
Yeah buddy, I apologise. I got the bikes for a very limited amount of time and hence missed the seat height part. I however have showcased the Suzuki's seat height in my V-Strom ride review video though. Thanks a lot for bringing it up, brother. Cheers and ride safe.
I was planning to buy adv bike, and when I heard V-strom got 120mm suspension travel. I bought KTM 250 adv yesterday, about 50k pricier in our city (Aizawl). no regret at all. I park against v-strom today and even from the looks of them, I know I made the right decision. KTM turns so many heads since they are not popular here (dukes and RC are popular, there are at least 1250 ktm bike in aizawl). It stands out in the crowd. But if you are shorter than 5.6 ft, dont get KTM, just dont get it lol... I used to ride CB300R, so I need to learn how to ride this adv bike too as the power delivery is so different as I can say there are almost no power below 4000 rpm in KTM.
Awesome brother. First of all, many many congratulations on your new Adv. Honda’s little 250 (then 286cc with the CB 300R) is a brilliantly peppy engine and it’s complemented ever more with the lightweight design. KTM definitely feels a whole lot different compared to CB 300R. And as you rightly pointed it out, KTM’s seat height is definitely intimidating for shorter riders. It’s a bit too tall for average Indian frame.
Hehehe.. Even one of closest friend complains about the seat height. He has a Duke 390 and wants to migrate to an Adv and has been so reluctant to even try the Adv 390 due to the seat height. 😆
@@ChhanaChhakchhuak has KTM Aizawl's servicing and parts availability improved now? Many people are still turned off by the poor service and spare parts availability in Aizawl
@@vintagealchemist4328 I dont think so, most of my friends who owned ktm said "If you really wanna buy ktm, don't crash" 😂😂 Since there are lots of ktm owners, they share parts among themselves, and rely on certain stores who ordered ktm parts, rather than servicing center. I think people go to servicing for periodical service only, I might be wrong, but thats what I've heard from asking lots of questions from different persons
Great Comparison.. I think V Strom is better for daily commute use because of mileage and maintanance. the switchable abs dangour for on road ,the reason is if we switched off and forget to put on while riding, it will be dangerous to ride...switchable abs uses only for mudrace
Switchable ABS isn't dangerous because single channel abs is always on whereas non switchable abs bike riders remove the fuse for abs which might be dangerous for newbie riders.
At face value, Suzuki 250 pales in comparison with the premium KTM... Suzuki's only saving grace is the engine refinement.. But then not many will choose a bike just because of the engine REFINEMENT... Looks to bhi zaroori hai.. 😆
The only reason I watched this video was to figure out how much can I trust the KTM motor in comparison with the Japanese reliability of Suzuki's 250cc motor. In the long term we all know how quickly the KTM engines give in because these are legit high compression monsters built for the track. Found it helpful to some extent and also on a few other bits but still confused, cheers!
The primary advantage of Suzuki is that the running parts will have more life than KTM. Secondly, Suzuki spares are more easily available compared to KTM. If you want practicality and are ready to sacrifice a bit of fun, get the VStrom. If fun and an engaging bike is what you are looking for, go with KTM.
Geniniue review brother! New subscriber to your channel by this video. I'm also staying bangalore. Good to see your vidoes and detailed and great comments ! Quality of the video is top notch ! I am owning a 2016 model Classic 350. Planning to buy a new bike, so in search of many bikes and I finalised Dominor 400 and V Storm 250. I want sporty looking motorcycle, going aways from retro style, so did not considered honda 350rs, I'm 5.7 height. Bike weight is not a problem for me (you know about classic 350). I want to test ride suzuki, many people said issues of bajaj engine and service. I want to keep a bike for longer period and dont want to sell, to office, touring, pillion seat comfort, milage, handling in all these suziki has a tick mark. So I feel v storm is better bike. But still confusion because its 2.5L in coimbatore (hometown), lot of money ! Need a reliable bike that can stay with longer and I may not sell. So I can say 10 years may be. Not an upgrading motorcycle person.
Thanks a lot for the kind words and the subscription, brother. Dominar 400 is possibly the most value for money bike on sale in India, today. It's an incredible touring machine. However, it's touring capabilities is the main hindrance of it being used in city. It's way too front heavy, turning radius is massive and the gearbox needs to be constantly worked to keep the engine happy. Suzuki V-StroMm SX however, is a different story. It might not be able to sustain as high speeds as Dominar 400 would, on the highways, but it's that much more friendly across all riding conditions. I am quite sure you will appreciate the lightweight design (I too come from a Classic 500 teal green, 2009 model). And then comes the reliability and impeccable build quality that comes associated with a Suzuki product. While Dominar may start showing rust and corrosion if not regularly pampered, the Suzuki will be just fine and won't ever throw tantrums. Considering the fact that you want to keep the bike for as long as it allows, I will definitely recommend the Suzuki for it's versatility, low maintenance, good fuel economy and reliability, over the Dominar 400.
@@FTRClub First of all ! Thank you very much for your response! You are right, your insights made me very clear that what motorcycle I should buy next. It depends Ribhi bro. I personally switch off the rear abs only when hitting off road on my friend’s bikes like the Adv 390, Triumph Tiger etc. But it’s good to have for city. Usually it shows up on the instrument console as soon as the ignition is turned on. Benefit of having switchable ABS is the rider can improve his/her riding skills by learning the proper technique.
If you in the wrong speed wrong gear ktm will turn off lol that auto like sound and that dum engine knocking damm if you know what good quality reliable motorcycles are lol. Ktm is a use and throw 5 years bike
Yeah. Since I didn’t test the fuel economy, I couldn’t comment. However both bikes delivery about 32-34 based on my interactions with other Suzuki and KTM owners, Suzuki is bit more fuel efficient.
There is a difference in meaning to Adventure atleast to these Suzuki and KTM for these bikes... As per them adventure is more sporty... So i guess hence these guys designed stiff suspensions and hard seats... Atleast to what we see as International models, they refer adventure as touring and partial off road vehicles which are extremely comfortable, high speed crusing and long travel and smooth suspensions.... I guess the bmw g310 gs is the only one which struck this property right.....
Nice review... Can u suggest one between CB 350 RS and V Strom 250....I like the engagement of CB 350 and I was blown away by the looks of vstrom, but it did not feel as lively as RS....so need some inputs to choose between the two
Well there’s no denying that the CB 350 RS is possibly the best looking affordable Modern Retro bike on sale in India today. Same goes with the V-Strom, it looks bloody brilliant and big, nothing like a 250cc bike. The reason why you enjoyed the engagement with it is due to the low end torque that it’s motor offers, which suits perfectly for our city rides. However, due to long stroke construction of the engine, it runs out of breath sooner than you’d realise on the highways. If it’s at 100-110 kmph, there’s hardly any juice left for highways overtakes which leaves the rider wanting for more, as the entire torque is delivered down low in the revv band. V-Strom on the other hand is more about peak power which can be leveraged on highways. At the same time because the initial gears are quite low followed by the tall 3rd gear, it picks effortlessly from speeds as low as 20kmph (watch my V-Strom ride review where I have demonstrated this). You will feel the liveliness of the engine past 6000 rpm or so and that’s the sweet spot. I am assuming that you didn’t get to ride both bikes for similar stretch of road under same traffic conditions. Bottom line is V-Strom builds its power where the CB 350 RS ends and both engines have totally different characteristics. If it’s city duties with a passenger, get the Honda. If city+highways is what you are looking for get the V-Strom SX. I hope this helps brother. On a separate note, if you buy a V-Strom or know some who is buying it, I’d request you to encourage them joining this FB group. facebook.com/groups/537147981225955/?ref=share
Wow...that was almost a spot on analysis... Yes,I was allowed to ride Vstrom only for a short distance.. anyway thanks for your detailed response I have one more question... the RS seat felt comfortable as I sat on it, but Vstrom was slightly harder...so which would be better for a long ride?
For long rides, you must always go with hard seat. The reason is soft cushion will keep bouncing the rider and over a period of time, the lower back start hurting causing tiredness. Even if you get a bike with soft seat, do make sure you get it modified by adding at least one layer of hard foam on it.
Hello. I am going for buying my first bike. I need it for 60% city ride and 40% to travel to hill stations ( steep uphills along with sharp turns) which one should I get?
I’d rather recommend the Triumph Speed 400 for your usage. It’s a much superior bike with slightly higher price tag. But you’ll literally enjoy the bike on the hilly regions.

Should you have any other questions, feel free to connect over Instagram (shubbuc) or add your comments here.

Go for Suzuki less maintenance good mileage reliability smoothness telescopic suspensions are hazel free than upside down forks
( understand the purpose Both bikes are adventure TOURER ) before you expect long suspension travel like Xpulse / Himalayan
Ktm's are not reliable machine gives thrill but along with that huge headache in maintenance wise
Actually reliability depends upon the owner’s care but its true KTM need more care ..{More power=less reliability}..KTM is benchmark for performance with high compression ratio, DOHC and complex engineering does make maintenance expensive..
But for 30k more you’re getting better suspension, better brakes, almunium swing-arm, liquid cooled dohc engine, better parts quality overall

What is the benefits of getting radially mounted brakes
Radially mounted calipers are also more rigid because the caliper is secured at both ends. On regular axial calipers, they are attached at just one end.
The improved alignment and rigidity of radial calipers provide better bite and more stopping power with a better feel under aggressive braking. Hope this helps buddy.

My riding style a little towards the aggressive end of the spectrum and I usually don't get very good fuel economy figures.
Hi Bro,
Thanks for the review. . very soon you ll reach heights for sure. . I have a question which one leads in both Riding comfort and Suspension ?
Thanks a lot for the kind words brother. KTM has slightly stiffer suspension and seat too is stiff, which makes it better for long distance touring.
Suzuki on the other hand, has a comparatively softer suspension and as the bike runs more, the springs will loosen out a bit, making it softer.
I personally liked the overall posture of the KTM as you sit higher and have a more commanding position and that engine compliments the riding dynamics more.
For riding comfort, the Suzuki V-Strom SX is the winner. :)

Bro please tell vstrom250 vs adventure 250 ktm vs himalayan vs xpulse200 4v which one is best bro 🙃please tell

Thank you for the review. Vstrom seems to be a better, however some owners are complaining of the rusting issues. Is it an area of concern?
I haven't heard of rusting issues yet. The only concern owner's are having is the poor life of the brake pads. Else people are quite happy with the VStrom.
How much travel difference between v strome and ktm 250
Suzuki hasn't disclosed the official numbers for the suspension travel of the V-Strom, however it is identical to what comes in Gixxer 250 and Gixxer 250-SF.
KTM Adventure on the other hand gets 170mm front and 177mm rear suspension travel. I hope this helps, brother.
@@FTRClub may i know what's the main advantage of longer suspension? I'm new to bikes so I don't know much..
You didnt talked about vibrations and highway speeds and cruising
Honestly, neither bike has any vibrations to talk about. Suzuki is smooth and butter and KTM is characterful. There’s quite literally nothing to compare about on either bike, on the engine front.
Both can comfortably cruise at 105-110 all day long without any hassle.
Which one is gives more fuel economy reply plz
Suzuki
Bro what about low end power in ktm vs Strom is good but ktm bro pls tell
Low end definitely KTM pulls stronger than the V-Strom, but the Suzuki engine runs very smooth comparatively. The Suzuki is however better for city traffic as at lower speeds Suzuki can be in 3rd gear but KTM will have to be in 2nd.
That's a detailed one...but I think SOCS works better than ktm ..in terms of heat ...
Right, KTM is known for heat due to high compression ratio. SOCS is best compared to Liquid cooled KTM.

Suzuki any day all day long.suzuki engines are bulletproof

I am not able to get hold of a Yezdi Adventure brother. Moreover, I visit the showrooms alone usually convincing either showroom to allow me to take their bike to another one for comparison. In this case, KTM folks were gentle enough to lend me the bike. Usually showrooms see that the channel isn’t popular enough, they deny giving the bike for more than 10 minutes
I will try making a Yezdi Adv vs V-Strom SX sometime in the coming week.
superb review man!
@@FTRClub thanks a lot brother 😃
Ktm 250 adventure is more powerful and faster good High long exhaust which will help in crossing river, stream, vstrom 250 is cheaper,Lesser heat and,low service and maintenance cost
Agree. The reason why KTM requires more to be spent on service is coz KTMs are usually ridden hard due to their power delivery. This causes more strain on the engine internals as well as chain and sprocket plus more usage of brakes.
Suzuki on the other hand isn’t usually ridden as hard and above all the life of Suzuki’s stock parts it significantly higher than KTM.

It’s a bit too tall for average Indian frame.

the switchable abs dangour for on road ,the reason is if we switched off and forget to put on while riding, it will be dangerous to ride...switchable abs uses only for mudrace
Yeah it’s an option for those who want to try it out, specially when off-roading. It helps in making tighter turns.

At face value, Suzuki 250 pales in comparison with the premium KTM... Suzuki's only saving grace is the engine refinement.. But then not many will choose a bike just because of the engine REFINEMENT... Looks to bhi zaroori hai.. 😆
Vstroms looks really good , it's not ugly or anything so.
The only reason I watched this video was to figure out how much can I trust the KTM motor in comparison with the Japanese reliability of Suzuki's 250cc motor. In the long term we all know how quickly the KTM engines give in because these are legit high compression monsters built for the track.
I'll consider Suzuki. 🙏😊 Will go and test ride , every other bike will feel smooth for a Royal Enfield biker 😉 I am a very big lover of my bullet. But you know the issues.. hmm great, Thanks brother ! Have a great day and wishes for reaching heights in your dreams!!
I just went to bangalore last week and came back to ooty miss bangalore I work there but not like on a stretch I work for a year and come back work for a few months and come back lol
Awesome buddy. We Bangaloreans are always searching for excuses to run to Ooty :D
@@FTRClub lol but bangalore is such a cool place but yes I get you touring is always good like how people from Bangalore come to ooty like that I want to go to bangalore cause the weather is good here it's freezing so cold sometimes ,,, raining all the time there it's just so good by the time I cross bandipur feels so good
I am 6.2 in height. I am looking for a bike for my daily commute and occasional touring. Which one will suite me?
I’d suggest the KTM Adventure 250, if budget isn’t a constraint. The tall seat is very accommodating for taller riders.
I think V Strom is better for daily commute use because of mileage and maintanance.
the switchable abs dangour for on road ,the reason is if we switched off and forget to put on while riding, it will be dangerous to ride...switchable abs uses only for mudrace
It depends Ribhi bro. I personally switch off the rear abs only when hitting off road on my friend’s bikes like the Adv 390, Triumph Tiger etc. But it’s good to have for city. Usually it shows up on the instrument console as soon as the ignition is turned on.
Benefit of having switchable ABS is the rider can improve his/her riding skills by learning the proper technique.
great review
Thanks a lot, brother 🙏
Points are specific ❤️
Thanks buddy. I am glad you liked it. Ride safe and stay safe.
Cut to cut ..👌
No if no butt 😂😂
@@FTRClub 😆very precise review ..
If you in the wrong speed wrong gear ktm will turn off lol that auto like sound and that dum engine knocking damm if you know what good quality reliable motorcycles are lol. Ktm is a use and throw 5 years bike
Thank your for the useful review. I believe that Suzuki spare parts are much cheaper also.
Oi mobile charger??
Hey bro is pretty good the way you compared. But you missed out the fuel efficiency overe here in this video which also plays a major role i guess
Yeah. Since I didn’t test the fuel economy, I couldn’t comment. However both bikes delivery about 32-34 based on my interactions with other Suzuki and KTM owners, Suzuki is bit more fuel efficient.
Does KTM 250 get a quick shifter?
Nope, the Adv 250 doesn’t get a quick shifter. However, the Adv 390 gets one.
Spot on. In this category, 310 GS, CRF 300 L & Rally, Versys X300 have a more absorbing suspension.
KTM engine gives very hot specially in city traffic also mileage is low
You are talking about the dukes, the adv bikes are super good with heat management

Wow...that was almost a spot on analysis... Yes,I was allowed to ride Vstrom only for a short distance.. anyway thanks for your detailed response
I have one more question... the RS seat felt comfortable as I sat on it, but Vstrom was slightly harder...so which would be better for a long ride?
For long rides, you must always go with hard seat. The reason is soft cushion will keep bouncing the rider and over a period of time, the lower back start hurting causing tiredness. Even if you get a bike with soft seat, do make sure you get it modified by adding at least one layer of hard foam on it.
Thanks mate... appreciate your reply 👍

Very good blogger,
Thanks a lot buddy. 🙏🏼
