    Good thing you played that music during the ride - I otherwise might have been able to hear the noise the worn bushings made.

    Would have made this video even better if you did the driver's side bushing because that's the harder side to change.

    Are the streets paved with dirt where you live?

    • @PistonShack

  • @MGeorgiM

    I was replacing the bushings on my Dodge caravan 2001 every 6-9 months. Never found the real cause of these early wears.

    • @PistonShack
      @PistonShack  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi MGeorgiM. Yeah, I know sway bar frame go bad pretty fast on Caravan. What I found, if sway bar worn out it will wear bushings faster. Plus using bushings with plastic inserts make them last longer. Caravan front end is relatively heavy if you drive on bouncy roads a lot bushings will go first.
      Thanks for you feedback!

      @@PistonShack What I found recently the clunking could come from a worn swaybar link (not visible sign). Where to find this type of bushings with inserts?

    • @PistonShack
      @PistonShack  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Check MOOG (K200601) Sway Bar Bushing - so far one of the best bushings kits in my opinion.

      Thx for a great video. How are the black Moogs holding up with the insert? I put blue ones on my van and wore out after 13,000 miles, but no plastic insert. I would expect plastic to prolong life hopefully.
