- Well, in case you haven't heard already, Stephen Barnett, the king of all college football YT channels, had his channel deleted by the YT Copyright Hounds a few days ago. Very sad, as there at least hundreds of full games that only he posted forever gone into the abyss. But I did save this game before his channel was deleted, but the only reason why I am posting this game is because the 1984 version of this game is already on here, thanks to Gridiron Scope. Yeah, Stephen Barnett was THE MAN. I hope he does come back in some form at some point but he posted SO much that I could understand if he says "to hell with it all".
Damn, that sucks to hear about Barnett's channel. That's where I got so many highlights for my own videos, and how I learned about the history of college football. I hope that he makes a comeback.

Oh man. I am so bummed that he got the axe. It's the most helpless feeling in the world. There is nothing you can do. If you appeal to the copyright owners, it just accelerates the destruction. I noticed he was getting close to that 15,000 subscriber level that I reached and then BAM, ESPN Classic realizes that you're taking away viewers and within one week, it's all over. I loved Barnett's channel to watch some old games. I hope that he takes a year off, actually enjoys some games in person, and then tries again. Long live Stephen Barnett!

So I took everything down and just decided to wait until Wazee digital chills a little, but unfortunately, that might be a while, as it looks like they've hammered a lot of people.

Stephen Barnett is my hero. I was so devastated last night when I realized. I did notice he started posting games from this season. Maybe that's what did him in?? I am however glad to see he has so many fans like me. Maybe we should start a support group or some movement to get him back on? Or maybe once I have have time, I'll start posting. Only thing is I have a lot of college football from 1988 on. Mr. Barnett had great 70's and 80's classics before that. It was like gold to me. Finally, this might be a silly question, why is JoePa doing the color commentary for this game??
Actually, that was Joe's brother, George, with whom he played with in both High School & College, and was a coach himself, that is doing the color commentary.
Hi Randy Thanks for posting this game. just wanted to post this to anyone but if anyone is posting games on bitchute or others that would be an option. People are posting full nfl games now . Hopefully mr bliss or mr barnett or gridiron scope do as well
Super late to this party but very sad news indeed. Stephen Barnett had loads of games that I remember watching as a kid and it was kinda like a snapshot of my childhood going back and watching them again. I thought he'd always be there, I had figured that if they were going to take him down, they would have done it long before September. Guess I figured wrong.
Gridion Scope's channel is also gone....sad times.

God Dammit I was so heartbroken when his channel got deleted. It was like a Libary full of College Football history that the bigheads deleted from us. And it was on here for years and now they suddenly decide to delete his channel? What the hell? That was my go to channel for Classic Games during the off Season. Now what?

This was a game of ages. The only time....it was so hot.......they let people out of the stadium to cool off. They were firehosing us off in the stadium.
Late to this, too, but I feel like I need to post a memoriam to Stephen Barnett's channel also. He had the best archive, well-organized and everything. I'd been able to save a few(dozen), so I may try to repost some of those before too long. RIP.
I used to download any Nebraska games he had that I didn't have, I am in the process of uploading all that I have.
bmboldt I was doing the same with the FSU games. He had a history of FSU games from the 90's and 80's on his channel as well as Alabama vs Auburn games. I downloaded a lot of them on my computers so thankfully i did that. But it sucks he was deleted. He was like a College Football history gold mine where you can get the full games complete and not broken up like they do on ESPN. And most of them I never seen before so they were like new games to me. I didn't even know who won with the old games besides the big ones.
How did Penn State with such crummy offense play for the Natty in Bowl Games 2 years in a row?
