    Amazing. Short and to the point. Didnt spend the first 2 minutes rambling about pointless introductions

      Totally Agree. If people start with too much waffle (endless chatter) I just stop and go elsewhere. They can do all the waffle at the end and not the start.

    CR2032 battery can be used as they give a longer life. They are thicker than a CR2025 but still fit and same voltage. They are used in some garage door remotes as well.

      I've been using it for several years now. It saved my bacon when I was in a remote area and My battery ran out. I could get in the car and I got it started but I knew I wouldn't be able to get it started again. I drove 20 mi into town, got Wi-Fi and watched this video and put the new battery in.

    This video absolutely empowered me! I always thought I had to take the key fob to the dealer to replace the battery, and today, enough irritating things happened to me, that I was NOT going to go and have so,done change the battery for me. So I looked it up online, found what type and where I could get the battery, and then found your tutorial. I changed the damned thing myself! And from now on, I will be doing it myself. Thank you so much for this great video! I was a nurse for 35 years, and am a visual learner. I love that it was purely visual, without words, so I could focus on the steps you showed. Listening and trying to incorporate the info doesn’t always work for me. I can do it, but prefer visual. You provided this and I am so thankful.🎊🎉🥇🤩🤩🤩

    Thanks! And thank you for not adding music like 99% of videos have. It’s too bad car manufacturers refuse to make these easy to open. I guess they’re trying to trick people into taking their keys to a dealer to pay $100 to replace a battery.

    • @ATseng
      @ATseng  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No problem thank you

    • @kimlorton3002
      @kimlorton3002 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep, that music on a tutorial ruins it. Makes your brain work harder to focus, because both sides of your brain have to work and mentally focusing on a task you’ve never done, and having music added, is a big bog mess. You miss the visual Information.
      Music is better applied when you know your task already, and don’t need to focus all your mental power on it.

    Great video. That you have more than a half million views suggests Mazda f***ed up in omitting the simplicity of opening the fob case in their owner's manual. Ridiculous. Thanks man.

      @@ATseng Guess what I discovered? The CX-5 owner's manual DOES cover battery replacement, however, it's in the later maintenance section of the manual, and not at the front end where they show you how to use the fob. The later section showing how to replace the battery is something you have to discover on your own because it is shamefully NOT referenced in the index. Silly Mazda.

    Thanks, but after removing the key, when I tried start the case opening by kicking the sidewall to the side, it snapped off. So I don't recommend that lateral forced movement - just get a thin, strong metal tool to pry open (letter opener, small screwdriver, etc.).

    Thanks for the video - that key fob shell/case looks to be aftermarket. If so how did you insert the chrome logo - snap it in or use a bit of super glue to prevent it from falling out?
