    There's that whole conspiracy radio segment on how the superrich are vampires. Considering a good chunk of it runs under the casino area, the tunnels might be back for content relating to that, and the vampiric corpos you'll find there.

      Most likely a reference to the old "Splat" World of Future Darkness where they brought in parts of the World of Darkness setting into the Dark Future of Cyberpunk, most notably the Vampire The Masquarde line and their clans

      That radio broadcast is a reference to the original RPG, the publisher Ianus Games Alternate Reality did a licensed alternate universe spin off that incorporated fantasy and horror elements - making it in effect a poor mans Shadow Run - that had vampires and other things in it.

      You can take a look. I'm actually using it (if you're also using ILLUMINATY) in the footage at the end of my segment. It only works somewhat, because a bunch of the stuff in there is untextured and doesn't reflect at all. The most interesting is that there are actually collapsed boulders in the big part, like it caved in.

    I noticed that alot of map was closed, not just cave system. Iland with cosmodrome, part of Pacifica with gaint living houses, farms at south. I hope CDPR will unlock this areas in further DLCs

      Indeed. Huge amounts of land is restricted and unused. My fingers remain firmly crossed.

      Im pretty sure that new areas will only be opened through expansions, not just as dlcs. So we will probably get one expansion that will open up some things in night city and near to it, for example the casino and one expansion with an entire new area, just like in witcher 3

      It's kind of hilarious to see people pleading for DLC when the main game itself is still vehemently broken/buggy/riddled with glitches and is just all around lackluster mediocrity 😗

    I just wanted to add a tip for people with the PC version wanting to explore the caves. You can use the flashlight mod and turn the brightness up, but if you want to really look at it clearly, just spawn the object "ambient light white" with Object Spawner or Appearance Editor Menu. You can just place them around and light the area to your heart's content. If you want to do something that looks natural in the world, you can use the various industrial lights to permanently light the area.

    DLC locations I predict,
    The blocked Westbrook charterhill tunnel leads straight under the location dubbed as the casino ,
    North east from casino is the nomad arasaka tunnel that really does go under entire city But StreetKid Vs suite elevator goes down into no where leaving no way to obtain and save the unique gear to inventory, In pacifica if you listen to civilian chatter they mention cyber pyschos being used as arena entertainment for corporates , Regina may possibly be using V to supply pacification arena with pyschos !
    Near heywood an arms dealer talks to V about living next to a police station and is frustrated the police are gathering homeless from streets keeping him awake blarring sirens all night , early in game the Radio explain that the homeless are evacuated from the under ground as the city cleans the sewers with toxic fumes .
    Also missing is maxtac recruitment and the ncpd station next door to Vs mega building and in the awac zone their is a wraith guarded entrance to cave that has cieling turret that can only be seen/hacked with max tier ping when scanning behind a no entry wall.

      How amazing would it be if the MaxTac and Cyberpsycho arena were one in the same. Like you do all the MaxTac missions and the final one is to take on all the psychos you didn't kill at once in the stadium?

    There are also numerous perks relating to underwater such as underwater stealth that is currently useless in the game seeing how there aren't that many underwater gameplay in the story.

    if there are special FX specifically for those cave areas, and they didn't bother with the effects you would expect to see, breaking glass,, shooting water, etc. then this tells me that the whole cave system scene with panam and your fellow gang members was a basic stripped down version of what was supposed to happen down in the caves

    tunnels would explain the perks for staying under water a long time and stealthy takedowns from water, also there is an N54 broadcast that refers to homeless people living underground being cleared out

    I've avoided these videos for a while, but boy, there is so much that could be here
    I hope these things continue into the next Cyberpunk game, since we are almost certainly not getting this in the expansion

    The junk pile can be explained. So if you're going to cut content you don't destroy it- you simply remove it. It appears that in this case they simply replaced it with... junk. If they were to replace that junk with the original pieces it would likely connect the way it was originally intended to.
    I know it's counter intuitive but it does make sense and it would work.

      So in your opinion there was initially something here that has been cut / removed or replaced by the junk and that's why the garage is there ?

      @@DeconstructingTheGame Well it's kinda weird to use garbage like that, and the grid pattern of it is suspect but I've used similar tricks before for a number of reasons. Let's say I might put a random primitive sphere under the map in an assortment of colors, I can assign text to that sphere as notes of where I left off, or as an indicator for someone else on the team that it's their turn to do their thing with a given cell.
      In this context it would be considered a placeholder. Sometime like garbage would be good because it is clearly capable of rendering a ton of it without losing performance so using it to mark locations for a tunnel system would be smart, as you could keep all the data secure using the least amount of resources as possible.

      @@DeconstructingTheGame For the record I'm not a programmer either, i code like a toddler runs. I'm a graphic artist- so my experience with the various ways these kinds of placeholders are used is limited.
      That being said, I'm also a gamer and GTAV and RDR2 both use them all over the place. They will use them as preloads a lot of times, loading characters outside the map and then moving them into the scene to keep loading seamless. It's an ingenious trick that's unrelated to this kind of use.

    This is so, so cool. Everytime I think I've found everything in this game, there's more. Personally hate the Wraiths but would LOVE for all of this to be true. Keep up the great work!

    There is a masamune (sorry for spelling) assault rifle in the base game that has a flashlight on it for future things like this, it works pretty well. Hopefully you can find it and read this tbh lol

    The removed tram tunnels wouldn't seem as disheartening if there wasn't still ambient train sounds playing when you clip through there. I'm hoping really bad that all or some of these restricted, unfinished, scrapped areas are part of future updates and DLC but also trying to not form unreasonable expectations if they don't do it. I simultaneously really enjoyed the game and felt let down and I still enjoy just booting it up to drive around and explore the city.

      Our guess is a combination or subway tunnels that may connect to mines for workers or underground caves inhibited by the wraiths gang or worse...

      @@happy_man_x Not really, no. They started in 2016, not 2012 when they released the teaser trailer. That's because The Witcher 3 and it's expansions took all the attention and effort. They officially stated that CP77 development begins when Blood and Wine expansion is ready and out and patched. So they cranked it out in just 4 years, a massive open world game in a completely different style to Witcher series. While Red Dead Redemption 2 took 8 years.
      So no, they hardly had any time at all. They needed a couple of more years but the corpo suits and investors pushed for new generation console launch date. Hence cut content, hence unfinished state. And covid work from home didn't help since no devs had Playstation and Xbox dev kits at home. They did have PCs, which is why PC version is the most stable of them. Like from the start of covid restriction to the launch, all development time was put into PC version, not consoles. Didn't help that PS4 and Xbone are weaklings compared to PCs and next gen consoles.

    If nothing ever happens with these caves, I hope at the very least a dev like adds in like a monster with some 1 in 100 chance of spawning to spook players that go to check it out

    Jeez. The game was going to be so much more rounded, like a whole world. I can feel the salvage job that had to of happened, and on a content/story wise it came out decent, it really did. Technologically at launch it was lambasted, and while I forgive it for that NOW, I also didn't play it firsthand until 1.5.
    I hate to say that CDPR sort of compromised on their commitments, but the game was certainly not "ready" when they launched it. Their entire, self chosen, topic of conversation pre-launch was: "The game is coming out when its ready."

    This could easily just be visual storytelling, but never planned to be built out. MAYBE the Wraiths really are doing all this...but whether or not they planned on building it out I don't see any evidence for. This is just facades and solid narrative world building. Like, the Dwemer in Skyrim have caves that go on forever...you only see a bit of it, they weren't planning on building the whole thing out, just showcasing that the network goes on and on.
    There is PLENTY of visual evidence for Nomad's using the underground and tunneling to smuggle goods...whether they ever planned on building that out? I don't know, the Wraith Tunnel may be all we get...or it could be something they build out in an Expansion as a tie into the greater map if there is a map expansion to the Badlands that includes Night City.
    And given what we know about the game...it's entirely possible the gameplay team knew their limits and the art team went farther then they should have...and if they were just designing spaces with the idea they will get used and not knowing what all will...they could easily have built out more than was necessary...plenty of spaces in Night City that go unused and are content deserts.
    All of this just looks like the occasional art fuckup and basic facade work to make people feel the cave networks go on beyond. It's not like the tunnel to the casino that is more clearly showcasing that it continues and we know the resort is there sitting unfinished so we KNOW it will get built out. I just don't see any evidence here that's substantial. Like even the monorail from the beginning doesn't make any sense...why would a passenger monorail go that far out of the city and not be a major train instead (such as the train being built by Night Corp or the one the Voodoo Boys house themselves in)...and if they did have plans for it they would have done more to connect it to the rest of the grid...seems more like they saw an area that felt a bit boring and having a rail line over it would feel better so they just did it.
    Water content skills could be tied to the fact there is a body of water next to every neighborhood except North Oak...and they THOUGHT they'd use more of it than they did....and the fact they don't have ANY water physics outright kinda showcases they never really prioritized it at all.

    this reminds me on game cyberpunk game on roblox where there were houses under ground and there were shops too so basically it was like micro society under ground. Would be cool if something like that was in cyberpunk too

    These are not unfinished tunnels from cut content. They are the tunnels from the aldecado ending of the game where you burrow to arasaka
    Edit: My mistake, different tunnels as explained below.

      No these are different tunnels to that. Trust us we checked all available tunnels and caves. That tunnel has a blast door at the front. These tunnels are part an Aldacaldo mission but the rest of the tunnels are cut off.

      You can actually see the tunnels from the endgame plot in the background in this video, but we don't discuss them at all. It would just be spoilers that aren't necessary because they are in the game and not cut. All of the cut off tunnels and caves shown here are not part of endings. Besides the Wraith tunnel, they aren't part of quests either.

      @@DeconstructingTheGame I hope "Immersive Roleplay" mod stable version is released earlier so community can create quests themselves. Looking at the pace patches for CP'77 are released it seems that bigger story expansions will need some time to be released with good quality. I'm a bit worried about the patching speed but maybe 50% of the CDPR took a longer vacation after all the crunch to release the game within those unrealistic deadlines. It's nice that CDPR learnt the lesson so management now should listen to developers and testers not to put any deadlines until the game/expansion is actually optimized on all platforms and ready for release.

      @@z.Sh4ped.Po0Tin I think mods like Immersive Roleplay will go a lot faster if CDPR shares tools with us. I use it and Appearance Editor Menu now to make custom scripts, quests and scenes. It does work, it's just a pain in the butt. Also at the moment it doesn't seem NPCs can do anything besides talk, look, enter vehicles and become hostile or afraid. So it limits scripting a lot. It seems to be a limitation of the game though, as only plot characters have any more animations available at all.

      Highly likely. Without dumping on the game too much. I can honestly say the CP2077 is the only game I have seen that has evidence of cut content on a MASS scale. Many mechanics, areas, missions, customisation... you name it. Never seen anything like it before.

      I doubt it, plenty in that leak doesn't add up...people saying June is important because a minor patch happened to tip the scales for PlayStation doesn't account for the fact there is no way in HELL CDPR planned for it.

    you guys are reading way too much into the things that are outside and under the map a lot of it is a reference for the designers to quickly grab and paste in where they need it for instance the garbage. I do it when using photoshop all the time mostly with colors its like an artist with a palette of colors, hes not gonna stop painting and get a color everytime he needs it, hes gonna put all the colors hes currently using on the palette so he can access them quickly

    Wow I've never seen a game cause so much division. A: Those who are really scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to get their 'woo something new' 'fix. Then there's B: Those who are disgusted at the lack of professionalism from cd to make a fast buck (but secretly like to check in for news because it messes with their head. Cyberpunk is the gaming troll of the decade.

    I hope they make a sequel to this game where CD Projeckt Red actually spends the time they need to make the game they promised. Also there shouldn't be any story player choices outside of side quests. I want all of the content I experience in ONE playthrough and one long main quest.
