    Hey all, we're excited and we're extra excited that you're excited. We chose not to describe steps to get the vehicle reward and cutscene in 2.0, because we decided to play along with the rules of the FF06B5 community and CDPR. The middle steps have still only been found by datamining, so that is against our policy as well to use in videos. We would appreciate if you don't list steps to complete secrets we choose to omit in the comments. It's not about censoring you, this is just Mike's platform and those are the policies he chooses to follow. If you want to post videos about things we choose not to show, feel free to post them on your own channels and we will even link them with spoiler warnings. When it comes to anything datamined though, we will mention it exists, but not show the content obtained or list how to get to it.
    I'm guessing it's just people wanting to flex somewhere, but just taking it at face value, we're not asking for help doing these things either. If we say we're not covering something, it doesn't mean we're not going to do it off-camera, or we lack the technical knowledge. There are definitely times when this is the case, but it's not code when we say we don't want to include something. It usually means we've done it, but are more concerned with dignity than clout. Please always offer your own findings and analysis, but when we say we're not discussing something, we would appreciate if you do not do so in the comments.

    I have a quick way to glitch through walls. You have to be a netrunner. Stand on the front bumper of a car, remote hack it, and then ram it to a wall.

    I found all this and it did bug me why that massive mountain was outside the boundary . So much detail in this patch it's too much to list here . I love how the iguana moves around and nibbles has some new poses . They've patched the car glitch but not completely and the pause glitch to survive any fall still works . To get to dogtown on console go to the stadium where the rocks are, climb towards the top until you hit the invisible barrier . Jump on the top edge of the stadium wall and then jump on the exposed beam . Run along it and your outside the map. Then just run along the top of the stadium towards dogtown .

    Second comment: But there's a way into Dogtown easily. On the road/bridge that has a tunnel under dogtown. If you exit the tunnel on that road, going south towards the massive group of those greenhouses or whatever they are. If you follow the road until it splits, you'll see where the road splits, and a fence blocking off your ability to jump off the bridge. Climb on that little piece of fence, and there's a little tiny spot they forgot to put a wall and you can fall down into the area with those buildings. Then just turn around, and climb the rocks next to dogtown, and bam, you're in. I spent a good few hours exploring. Some interesting stuff, some areas have more detail than expected. I also did some comparisons while watching some gameplay of Dogtown, and it was neat. Little ground shadows where there's meant to be a car, vague shapes on the sides of buildings to indicate where neon lights and things would be, a big screen on the side of the building that's not on, that normally would be.
    Seems to me they forgot to full delete or lower the detail on at least two areas. One being that area in the back with the almost theme park style entrance gate. And one being some holes in the ground with tunnels and stuff you can walk through. That tunnel area's even full solid, and has an open door that leads to nothing (I assume there'll be a lower area or something in the actual DLC).
    And off the topic of Dogtown for a second. I found that grassy area outside the map too, thought it was weird. I also found a tall white box just sitting outside the map near the Nomad starting town. I couldn't seem to think what it's for, and I don't remember seeing it before 2.0. It's solid, and just kinda sitting there. It also screws with the culling and a lot of stuff, including itself, will disappear depending on how you're looking at it.
    I'd also be curious if anyone can find the stuff used for the Arasaka Tower 3D arcade machine. It seems like it's a proper 3D environment and location, so I'd assume it has to exist somewhere on the map, right?
    I find it odd that a save from before 2.0, inside of the dogtown area, will teleport you out. But a save made inside dogtown AFTER 2.0, loads you in just fine.

    If you’re on pc, you can set collision of jumping, regular, charge jump, or double, to null so when you jump you’ll basically noclip.

    • @seanfox7627
      @seanfox7627 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Using tweakDB. Just search collision in the flats tab and it will be under “PlayerStateMachineLocomotion”

    You can get out by just going through the border. There's a ton of guards, but it's not impossible.

  • @TXFDA
    @TXFDA 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    I don't understand why the devs would actively make it harder to explore out of the map, on a game, where people MOD IT ON PC CONSTANTLY. Anyone playing on PC can easily just noclip around. None of the stuff out there is a secret or well hidden. Even on console, it's more annoying to explore out of the map, but not impossible. Just...leave it alone. Let us do it. It's not hurting anything to leave the ability to do it, there. No one's accidentally getting out of the map during a normal playthrough, people either have to noclip on PC, on purpose, or purposely go WAY out of their way to do it on consoles/without mods. So, what's it even matter? Removing that stuff literally does nothing but make the game LESS fun for people that enjoy doing it.
    I've said that for ages now about any game. All you do by patching out exploits and glitches that require actual specific effort to do, is make the game less fun for the people that enjoy doing it, and it does nothing for the people that just play normally. They're literally just making the game worse and less fun to play around in, by removing that stuff, or making it harder to do.
    And I get it, fix bugs. I'm not saying a dev shouldn't fix bugs. If a bug is actively effecting the average player on a normal playthrough, sure, get rid of it. But if a player has to go really far out of their way to even FIND one of these out of map bugs, or a duplication glitch, or whatever, then it's not hurting anyone to just leave it in. This is the same generation that'd rather have paid dlc instead of simple cheat codes. Just think of a duplication glitch or getting out of the map as a cheat code. Something you need to specifically TRY to do, that's entirely optional and just adds to the game for the players that enjoy it.

      I like it actually. I spent hours fruitlessly exploring arasaka waterfront after i got on top of it by parcour. The more the limit random bugs and clipping the more we'll find intended mysteries.

    • @TXFDA

      @@teahousereloaded I hate when devs patch out this kinda stuff. I much preferred how the game worked at launch, specifically the lack of invisible walls and stuff. You could climb just about anything with enough effort, and get just about anywhere. Including places you're not supposed to. And at the time, it really didn't seem like the devs CARED that we could, which I loved. It felt like they were saying "Screw it, if you wanna climb this building, or find a weird way into this unintended place, go ahead."
      But then after some updates, they started adding chain link fences and barbwire around to try and prevent you from reaching certain places. NOW they're going full-on invisible walls.
      To be fair, it seems like most of the map is untouched, and you can still explore just fine. But they definitely added a MASSIVE invisible wall around all of Dogtown, to the point where they even added invisible walls to surrounded structures to prevent players from trying to jump over things. Plus, they obviously patched the old glitch to get out of the map itself (luckily I still had an old save out there).
      Honestly, I can't tell how CDPR actually feels about players exploring unfinished content and unintended areas. Like I said, it didn't seem like they cared much at the start, then kinda just started tossing simple fences around that kinda looked like they didn't want you to go to a specific place, but it was still easy enough to get around, now it's invisible walls (something that barely appeared at all in the game before 2.0). Hell, even the dogtown area was easier to get in before 2.0, where they added a mile high invisible wall around the whole thing. I even found a loot box on a balcony that you used to be able to climb on, but can't now...but the box is still there. They also completely locked off the rooftop of Afterlife a while ago, despite it still being there and being reachable with enough climbing and jumping.
      Then there's also the areas in the game that're from story missions, that you can't get back to for absolutely no reason. Like the Nomad town, some of those Nomad camps, interiors to buildings like Konpeki Plaza...
      Speaking of Konpeki Plaza, they even added invisible walls to THAT in 2.0. Like, they added invisible walls and things on the upper levels to try and prevent players from getting back up to the top where the sword and egg and stuff are. They're clearly watching what people are saying and making videos on, and trying to patch the stuff out.
      I dunno, CDPR are just handling the map a bit weird to me. And I'd much prefer if they just...stopped trying to block things off. Just let me explore.

    I get frequent sandstorms on corpo plaza. How regular is this in vanilla 1.6? First i thought it to be some awesome ff06b5 finding, but then i guessed it's just the normal 1.6 increased weather patterns.

    • @RyanLeCocq
      @RyanLeCocq 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There seem to be some bugs at the moment. I've noticed that now sandstorm can happen anywhere, which is cool, but it also happens too often vs other conditions. There also may be a bug where you get stuck on one transition and it repeats over and over. Sandstorm>Sun>Sandstorm>Sun etc.
