  • My front brake caliper was rattling every time I hit a bump. Thought the caliper pin was bad but the crowns on the back of the pad had broke off somehow. I replace the pads step by step in this video on both driver and passenger side with pad orientation. Tear down and Replace

Such a clear video. Having the rattling issue on my Cobra on the passenger side and now I feel comfortable hopping in there. You're so right it makes an otherwise nice car feel so crappy when you're cruising around.

Thank you for watching and yeah it was not a noise I wanted around long. Ill be posting more of it in the future, I did a 4th gen vs mach 1 comparison and race if you're into that

I really appreciate this video sir. I noticed one of my slide pins sticking WAY out on my front passenger caliper almost contacting the wheel and thought hmm that's odd.. guess I lost the washer and E clip somewhere along the way.. wonder how that could have happened? Idk but you helped me figure out what I need to secure it back in lol so thanks. That could've been a really bad day if the pin came all the way out I'd assume 😂

glad this helped you and I would hate to lose one myself, the way the caliper is designed I don't think you would have to worry because of how they slide into the bracket so if the pin does fall out the friction should keep it seated, but lets not find out the hard way

Brembo made the brake calipers on these. Great video.

Are you for real? It’s a great design in my opinion, love learning facts like that.
