- We got in 3.5 hrs before more issues from the recent annual from hell resurfaced. At least we made it to the shop in one piece + shot a nice GPS approach to landing in some strong & swirly winds with 3 functioning GoPros this time. :) Did we make it home? You are coming along for the ride - check it out!
We get our hands dirty in this episode; diagnosing the issue, determining safety of flight via phone with 2 trusted A&Ps, ferrying the plane back to KCRC, lending BK @KingAeroAviation a hand to quickly pinpoint the issue. Unfortunately, I’m going to need a ride home.
Thanks to ‘Air Uber’ @HammerAviation for the assist in a pinch! Luckily @KingAeroAviation got me in & out quickly with seal & gasket overhaul. By the time you see this, she is already home & ready for some a much needed adventure - stay tuned!

Curious why you can’t log the IFR approach? Did you mean not loggable for training or an initial cert?
the flight was conducted VFR in VFR conditions and I had visual reference to the ground so does not meet regs to log as Inst App, even as training. That would require me to wear vision obstruction device w/safety pilot at a minimum.
