@@mariakatsikani2799 does it unclog your scalp? mine has tons of build up from dry shampoo (overly oily scalp) and now i'm looking half bald as my hair growth is being inhibited ;(
Oily skin & hair club here. Doesn’t matter what I do I just genetically & hormonally produce a lot of oil. At nearly age 40 that excess oil has been great for preventing wrinkles but it drives me crazy that I can’t have more bounce, less grease, & go longer between washes. Not putting conditioner on the scalp, & only applying to mid length & ends helps some but honestly not a great deal. Thanks for this review. I’ve heard that with salicylic acid it can have a paradoxical effect where your oil glands work overtime to replenish the protective oil barrier but I’m not sure how true that is for everyone. It was certainly the case with face wash & toner for me. The more it cleansed away oil the more I produced to compensate.
ahhhh finally someone who understands my struggle with oily hair and having to wash it every other day 😭😭 thank you for this review, will not buy this product!
How are you doing with your hair? You are young, and don`t look upon excess oil as a fault or big problem, it is natural and has its` advantages. Salicylic acid is great for oily scalp. You can try and find a serum with vitamin B3, it will help normalise oil production. An ingredient worth trying is sea salt and dead-sea salt products, they can have a good effect. Some make a point of doing a thorough scalp massage with shampoo. We are pretty much dependent on regular use of these products, so they have to be easy to use. I guess we just have to deal with situation some times; adding dry shampoo and brushing it out. There are hair mists or the days between washes, some are made for oily hair.
Ok so I'm not commenting to be negative, but I do want to give some facts. Your topicals don't stop working. However, if you are not getting a prescription percentage then the over the counter products can help but you need a clinically effective stronger product you can only get from a dermatologist
I use neutrogena body wash the acne one grapefruit exfoliator one I used it once n lather it in and finally my hair is not oily been suffering for weeks now also bad shampoo loll but it worked 🥳 I added a tiny dap of conditioner for 1/2 of an inch of my hair n bangs I have bleached hair in areas to prevent dryness conditioner sometimes can make hair oily too..u don’t need much
Thank you for your review, I was thinking of buying it but I don't think I will. You should also review the Caffeine Stimulating Scalp Treatment. I really like the inkey list, I have tried the Salicylic Acid Cleanser and It really works for me, the price is affordable. I'm also using the Glycolic Acid exfoliating toner and the hyaluronic acid and I think it's better than the ordinary because it's more watery and hydrating. I have a moderate dandruff and shampoos with Ciclopirox olamine worked for me. You should try it!
Hi :) Did you try the experiment (using Inkey List Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Scalp Treatment as a leave in product)? If so, were you pleased with the results? Cheers :)
@@mikefireal nizoral is a shampoo.. I usually take a generous amount and lather it between my hands then distribute it equally on my scalp and when I say equally I mean it. Scrub for a while make sure everyone is cleansed leave it up to 10 minutes and then wash it off. I do go for a second rinse with another shampoo. I do this every time I wash my hair which is about 2-3 times a week depending on how oily it got during that week. If you have oily scalp dandruff same as mine I suggest you wash your hair every other day so it doesn’t accumulate. It works for me
You need a shower filter. Another youtuber who studied in Spain said that the water there is horrible for the hair. Maybe the glycolic acid one will be better for you.
I know the trick to make it work; just use it as a scalp toner, after washing! I tried it this way and loved it
Can you go into more detail? Do you just put this on your scalp after washing and go about styling or do you wash it out?
@@rosar.4293 Without washing it afterwards

Do dermatologists provide anything for hair? I thought they only did skin.

It might be the hard water. I hear you can get something to put on your shower head to help 🥰

Can u please tell me where should I buy salicylic acid
@monika.m12 I recommend going to your dermatologist and consult with them. It'll save you money and time.
It started when you moved to Spain ?? Have you considered the water. Where did you come from ?
Oh so sad! I have ordered it, but not yet used it. I will try to use it after washing, as a leave on product
