Would using a Salicylic acid scalp treatment or shampoo be bad for someone with dryer scalp or skin? I've used the Neutrogena one a couple times and felt stripped and a bit of a burn afterwards. My scalp and skin has stopped getting oily over this past year and I was thinking the exfoliation could help w/ hair growth and remove dead skin and even help oil production.

Kal magnesium glycinate 200 mg per day and zinc 10 mg per day has been really helpful for my hair growth after regular usage of 4 months

I've been able to grow my hair back with liittleextra reactivate hair growth serum. Taken 3 months apart. First one in Jan, second in March. It's important to apply the serum directly to the scalp and massage into scalp with very firm pressure. Do not pull on your hair. The hair coming in seems to be good quality. I have less hair fall overall. I use at night, the serum doesn't make your hair greasy, but you only need a few drops to work - less is more. Additionally, switched pillows cases to a satin material so that sleep is easier on my hair.

Hi, I've been using the inkey list salicylic acid treatment for more than 2 weeks already and I already see the results. First week I didn't see the difference, now I see that my scalp got cleaner. And oh God before this product I had to wash my hair every second day ( I gotta admit with this pandemic and remote work I washed on the third day but thre hair was really bad looking) Now my hair looks great even on third day🙌

Since I started using active ingredients, such as niacinamide, retinol, peptides, 14 months ago, the white hair on the top of my forehead has started growing back dark brown. I’ve no idea why. My hairdresser remarked on it. My temples and ‘widows peak’, are back to my pre-white hair colour. No idea which ingredient is responsible for this but it is rather interesting.

    • @01jausten

Salman Khan Crazy Fan The Inkey List has a product that it claims can cause grey hair to grow back in it's original colour. Only just started using it, so can't say if it works. I've been using The Ordinary's Buffet, Niacinamide & retinols & the hair where these products accidentally touch, has stated growing back dark brown. Might be the peptides in Buffet.

Salman Khan Crazy Fan Sorry but I haven't been using it long enough to say. it may well be the peptides in Buffet that has changed the the white hairs, where my scalp meets my face, dark brown again. Unfortunately, this was just what happened to me. Maybe, some decent research needs to be done by pharma firms, to see if this was the cause.

I have been really happy with the Peptide Serum. I have very thin, fine hair that hasn’t been virgin for years🤣 I have my hair highlighted every 5-6 weeks. If I want my hair to have any volume I have to blow dry. I try to do that only a few days a week for special Zoom calls. When I use the Peptide Serum and blow dry, my hair looks really good.

$7.99 isn’t terrible for a curl cream. Particularly if you only wash your hair once a week. You really don’t go through curl creams quickly unless you have an absurd amount of hair (in which case, good for you, I’m jealous).

I am excited about these bc, having rosacea & being acne prone, I am *extremely* leery of using any hair products any more bc they affect my face skin usually . (I do the Kristen Ess fragrance free conditioner & it’s the only “leave on” thing for my hair & I tolerate it fine.) but since these are fragrance free and made by a skin company, I have more faith in them. I don’t have a fragrance allergy, but I am super sensitive to smells in my hair. Can’t wait to give them a try

Castor oil has helped me a bit, she has a video on it and while there is not a lot of evidence behind it it’s worth a shot. it’s helped me out a lot. I section my hair out so it’s evenly distributed on the scalp and let it sit for 2 hours. I do this about once a week, make sure you don’t over do it.
Another thing is making sure you are deep cleaning your hair and getting all the sebum and dead skin cells off your scalp, you can use a clarifying shampoo which I believe she also has a video on, but I noticed some of the cheaper drugstore shampoos with sulfates do a good job. I know it sounds counter productive and there’s a lot of people saying not to use shampoos with sulfates but in moderation they really help deep clean your scalp. That being said have a couple of different shampoo and conditioner sets you rotate between washes.
      Hope this helps good luck

My hair is 98% virgin. I don't use voluminizing etc products on my scalp or hair at all. I wash my hair that are 97% natural or completly natural oil based. So no barabens, silicone etc.
For my scalp I use every 2 weeks exfoliation and once a month rosemary oil. For my split-ends I use after every wash hair mask and conditioner. After natural air drying I apply hair oil + hair serum to my split-ends, because I have very dray olit-ends and oily scalp. Dry shampoo every 3-5 monts, if really needed, but mostly that bottle is just standing...

A Dr Dray Aldi shopping haul for the new year??? Skincare, haircare, food (inc. organic/vegan/gluten free), and "Special Buys" general merchandise. Because this supermarket has so many locations around the world, has a vast product range and is affordable; I would love to see your take...even though it's not "The Club" ie Costco 😀
It would be fun to see how the US stores differ, or are the same as other countries.
Their anti-aging skincare and Morocan Argan Oil hydrating shampoo & conditioner is popular (for many hair types (colored,/virgin, wavy/straight, fine/frizzy). Their catalogue occasionally features "Kairplex", (3-step home kit Olaplex dupe). Amongst other products, I buy their fresh & dried fruit berries & nuts, gluten free cereal, almond milk etc....and not forgetting my coffee ("Lazzio" dark roast beans/ground option) for my French press and "biggie" mug! In Australia Aldi's food is free from artificial colouring & flavoring. You will need to remember to bring a returnable coin (a quarter) for the shopping cart.
    👱‍♀️♥️

I read this in an article: "Long-term use of glycolic acid can weaken the hair and cause hair loss,” says Dr Bakhtiar. “In my opinion, the use of it should be limited to once or twice a week and, after that, intermittently." Any thoughts on this?

I use it on wet or dry (to define and anti-frizz treatment) hair and it’s working great... so great that I made up my mind and bought different inkey list hair treatments for my friends as Christmas gifts. Thanks a lot, Dr Dray!!!

Hi I have scalp eczema (as well as other places on face and body). I use a fragrance free shampoo and conditioner. I also pre poo with oil before I wash my hair (I have dry, highlighted, course textured, long and curly hair). For hydration and itch between washes I use a leave in scalp treatment. The two I alternate between are the hair treatment from the ordinary and the Boots expert sensitive scalp treatment. I also apply a few drops of the ordinary hemi squalane which is really affordable and lightweight, to patches of extreme dryness to seal in the hydrating products. Basically I use fragrance free products and oil. I do use a clarifying shampoo at least once a month to prevent build up. It's really trial and error to find products which don't irritate/further dry out your scalp. A few fave fragrance free brands are the jessiecurl no added fragrance, the Boots sensitve expert hair line and urtekam. I live in the UK so you may need to find other brands. hope that helps.

The curl defining cream i liked bc it activates my curl when im styling, however i recommend ones that come in bigger amounts because it doesn’t last much. We talk about recipes, wine, hiding from our families😂 and skin care. I mentioned that I follow this amazing Dermatologist on TH-cam named Dr. Dray. One of my other colleagues said “I love Dr. Dray too” Hopefully you get a few more subscribers out of the call because I want to see you top 1 million.
