Let me tell you…you have changed my entire skincare game. I use the oat balm cleanser for removing makeup if I wear makeup that day, salicylic acid cleanser, HA serum, and the peptide moisturizer. I recently started introducing the Retinol eye cream (which dried my under eyes a bit so I use it on my fine lines instead and I use it also as spot treatment for acne along with the Succinic Acid spot treatment. My skin had never looked better! Thank you so much for all of your amazing education. I recommend you and the Inky List to everyone❤
For me it's the same. I discovered this channel and it changed my life. It's true. My skin care is cheaper, better and effective! I struggled with blackheads for 25 years, and in my late 30s I finally got rid of them! I didn't think I would get rid of these blackheads, but I did it.
Just ordered my second bottle of Salicylic Acid Cleanser. My skin loves it. When I don't use Salicylic Acid for a while, small red pimples reappear. Also got their Oat Cleansing balm and the Peptide Moisturiser, so far really happy with those.
I love the Oat cleansing Balm, OMG! Literally remove EVERYTHING ❤ I understand the comments and I recommend to have it in a really fresh environment to avoid the separation and shake it a little bit before open it (maybe), but girl, I love it.
I keep mine in my fridge, and shake before using. it's the only product I have from the inkey list because a lot of other balms are so expensive for what they do, but I do love it!
Maybe I got a bad batch or let it sit too long before using it but mine just feels like it leaves a residue on my face and isn’t that great at cleansing. I love the elf cleansing balm though
I am loving it too! I have highly sensitive skin that is also acne-prone, and this is the first moisturizer I have been able to tolerate apart from Skintifique gel from France
The Omega Water Cream is a definite HIT for me. I have VERY sensitive skin that is also acne-prone, and have not been able to tolerate ANY moisturizer (i mean ANY, except for Skintifique gel from France, but that is expensive and has castor oil in it which can make me break out a bit). So the Omega Water Cream has been a GOD SEND. I can finally tolerate a moisturizer that has active ingredients in it! And it is CLEAN (no fragrance or nasties), and oh yeah, affordable! SO so happy. I highly recommend it for sensitive acne-prone combination skin like mine.
Anyone having texture troubles with the Oat Cleansing Balm... keep it in the fridge!! I have an actual mini skincare fridge that I keep mine in and I've had 0 problems with it separating ever since. Some may think it's inconvenient having to run back&forth from the kitchen but I think its worth it. These cleansers are HUGE, super affordable and effective! The fulvic acid is my current HG, I've never had a cleanser make my skin look&feel so bright/soft! I can lather up and scrub forever without worrying about any dryness or irritation!
I love the sal acid scalp treatment! I have mild scalp psoriasis (diagnosed), and I leave the treatment in for at least a few hours before washing. It helps boost the efficacy of my medicated shampoo. Plus I can leave it on longer before washing it out. This in combo with my prescription really helps keep my plaques under control!
Aw Sis, sorry the I Brite Eye Cream didn't work out for you. It's made a difference for me, just bought a second tube. I'm enjoying the Peptide Moisturizer and using the Hyaluronic Acid Serum as recommended. The spot treatments sound promising, thanks for the review. 🌞🦋
Cassandra is an angel! The succinic acid treatment is a holy grail for me now. Whenever I get a pimple it annihilates it in a few hours. I love pimple patches but as a guy with facial hair they never stick, but dabbing a little of the green spot treatment works even better.
I love the Inky List and the Ordinary. Always affordable and gets the job done. 👍🏽 Could you please do a video about what are some affordable products for people with backne and just want a good skincare routine for the rest of the body? ❤
Hey, Cassandra! Love you as always! I work in the beauty and Ulta departments in my Target, and the BEST thing I've found for frizzy, curly hair is the anti-frizz line from Bondi Boost. I use the mask and the serum and they don't make my hair greasy, but they've got awesome oils and things in them, and no silicone (it ruins my medium curl pattern). Please try them if you haven't yet!
I know you aren't a fan of eye serums, but the inkey list caffeine eye serum works really well for me. To be honest, I was quite supriced because I havn't had any expectation.... But it works well for my under eye texture colour. I love it... ❤
My husband shaves the sides of his head as tight as possible but gets spots from it. the salicylic acid hair treatment is amazing exfoliates his scalp so after shaving so no more ingrown hairs and spots
The Eye Bright I really like to use with concealer from Elf. I put a little eye bright on and swoosh is around a little and then add concealer and just use the cooling tip from this to mix the goods together then blend with a sponge. Works well for me.
I got to say, Olaplex saved my split ends, and I had a lot of them... And yes, it is expensive. But I have very very long hair, and it lasted me 8 treatments! So, not THAT expensive if you think about it like that... I used the no. 0 and the no. 3.
I actually love the niacinamide serum! It is definitely sticky, but I find that if I apply some quick absorbing products under it (like a light moisturiser) it doesn't get anywhere near as sticky. And it works so well! I never saw any results with the serum from the ordinary, but this one actually works. Keep in mind that I have quite dry skin though, so this definitely might not work for everyone.
I bought the Succinic Acid Treatment based on your suggestion on it a very long time ago and LOVE it. The smell does suck, its like the smell of the nighttime air on the 4th of July, very much like sulfur, but this stuff works so well.
I’ve tried lots of cleansing balms & oils and Inkey List was the WORST for me! The price doesn’t even justify the oily film it leaves on my skin, even after double cleansing. It’s a nah from me, dawg. Glad I’m not the only one 😆
Hi !!! Love your channel!! I'm 46 and I am on retion... That's what my derm put me on and I get white heads so bad on my chin and he NEVER ONCE TOLD ME ABOUT SALASILIC ACID!!! YOU HAVE TALKED ME INTO GETTING THE CLEANSER !!!! SO HAPPY I FOUND YOU!!! I WANT TO SAY THANK YOU !!! SO EXCITED TO TRY THIS YES INKY LIST!!! I KNOW RETION AT NIFHT CLEANSER IN MORNING!!! YOU TALKED ME INTO IT!!!
Everything that I’ve tried from the ordinary has torn my sensitive skin apart. The inkey list is so much kinder to my skin. I’m using the mandelic acid treatment on one side of my face right now, too early for results but I loveee how it feels on my face
I LOVE the inkey list I’ve been using it for about a year and my skin is amazing but I’ve been trying to find something to add to my routine because my skin is just missing something I’m not sure what, maybe my skin is too used to my routine now but I really appreciate this videos to help me figure out what to add!!
I in team looooathe the oat cleansing balm. For me it's filmy and too thick, just not a fun experience. My go to cleansing balm is the glow recipe, the best one I've ever ever used. But the Sal Acid cleanser, that one u can agree with 100%. I put it on to slightly damp (not wet) skin, rub it around, let it sit for a few mins, then water it and suds it off. I used to think it was ineffective but when I started leaving it on, Game Changer! The beta hydroxy serum, the lactic acid, the pha, all in my arsenal. Succinic acid, thumbs down for me. Inkey list overall is one of my favs for trying something first- their so affordable and (mostly imo) not junk! 💯 % love this video and can't wait to check out their new stuff!
Idk 3 mins maybe.. usually will put it on brush my teeth then wash off.. or go get my work clothes to change into. I just do something. Def not super long. Don't think I've ever gone more than 5 minutes. But I started after I saw a short from Dr idress when she said a cleanser with an active needs contact time for the actives to work. Hope that helps😊
I work in an office and I use tape white out every day lol. I love it! So much easier to use than liquid, no drying time, and a thousand times easier to write over than dried liquid white out
Got myself the Salicylic acid cleanser, hyaluronic acid serum, pha toner, succinic acid acne treatment…all are fantastic,my skinn looking better by the minute 🔥 (28 yo male) great recommendations and easy to add to my daily routine
In my opinion: Timeless Q10 has more % of Q10 active AND is priced competitively when on sale. I use Inkey Q10 in summer as a moisturizer before sunscreen to use it up and will not repurchase.
Great information as I just started using one of the products from The Inkey List and was curious about some others. I did have to slow the video speed down to 75% as I found that you speak really fast :)
I love their products but man the packaging annoys me. The lids break off, the bottles aren't squeezable enough, they leak.....they're a mess. Not to mention i have to order literally every month and waste money on delivery fees as everything is so small! Like why?
I am currently using the symbright moisturizer and for me it's ok especially for daytime. I agree that mica and titanium dioxide are not necessary. My skin type is dry but I also get acne.
That oat balm gave me an allergic reaction to the point where I couldn’t open my eyes for a day and now my eyelid skin has prematurely aged 😢 so be careful especially if you have eczema sensitive skin like I do.
Thank you for these! Can you please review Pevonia Botanica? I liked their products a lot as a teen, but not sure about the quality of their more advanced products.
I’ve been using the oat cleansing balm for the last few days and I really love it. Same with the salicylic acid cleanser, I’m pregnant and get such bad acne every time. Also have the peptide moisturiser, glycolic acid toner, niacinamide serum, succinic acid treatment and retinol serum. I use them along with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution and my skin is amazing now
I recently bought their moisturizer with 10% Urea in it. Dr Dray says that Urea is good for bumps on the skin, like Keratosis Pilaras. I get that on my temples. I haven’t tried it yet as I’m currently using up another brand.😉
I used the White Out liquid with the brush! That stuff was the worst! Gen X'er here! 😃 I actually submitted a request for a patent for a marker version in '93, but someone beat me to it! 😢 Oh well. Love you, Cassandra!❤
I really tried to like your videos, literally binge watched so many. The information is so good, you are obviously very knowledgeable about what you do. but my goodness I feel like I need a meditation session to calm my nerves now. I wish you would make videos more calmly and slow down. I wanted to watch all your videos but I am sorry I just cannot, all this hyperness has stressed me out.
Soo, I have combo-dry acne prone skin, and for me the oat cleansing balm was a total miss, left residue on my face and was slimy even with vigorous washing, I HAD to use another cleanser just to remove it. The symbright moisturizer however, I actually liked. It was lightweight and didn't make me breakout (and it pairs SO nicely with the fulvic acid cleanser!). For the succinic acid spot treatment, I really wanted to like the product. But it doesn't work for me, it's weird, it doesn't help with my acne at all and instead causes more inflammation and liquid to become trapped in the already irritated pore. On not irritated skin it does nothing, so it doesn't seem to be sensitivity related. The mandelic acid however, I totally agree is a slam dunk!! And the retinol too is a slam dunk!
Big fan of the Inkey List PHA Toner, definitely my number one go-to product! I wanted to try the Ole Henriksen moisturiser but it is packed with perfume. What could have been a great product has been completely ruined, at least for us who cannot tolerate perfume on our faces.
@@iSpritz The PHA Toner? It is not sticky or shiny at all. The Ole Henriksen? I wanted to try it but I didn't because of the perfume, so I don't know if it is sticky/shiny.
Hi I love your videos and i love the Inkey List products, but i have a question, what is your opinion about the inkey list sunscreen? I want to buy a whole routine of this brand and I want to know your opinion, i have a dry skin. Love your videos, im from Slovakia and i can't wait for another skincare video.
I've dealt with the separation in oat cleansing balm and I've found that just shaking the bottle a little before opening it helps a lot. Also I get a lot of zits on the corner of my nose and use the succinic acid and it's not that bad 😅
the oat cleansing balm is literally my fav i have bought it over two times but yes it does separate but js give it a little shake befire using n ur good to gooo i love it sm it removes my makeup really welll id rebuy 100 times
I don't know what's in the omega water cream, but my face is on fire every time I give it another chance. You can even see where my fingers have gone through 😔
I've been in love with their chia seed curl defining cream!! I'm onto my third bottle - and just wish the bottles were bigger!!! I've also just bought their hyaluronic acid hair treatment, that's oookaaay??? But not nearly as hydrating as I wish it was - I gots the DRY scalp and curly hair, sometimes I get desperate and use sorbolene cream (prescription level body moisturiser) on my hair and scalp as an overnight treatment... cos the dry itchies ain't cute, that powder ain't cute! I will be ordering the succinic acid and mandelic acid spot treatments though- I get the angry red whiteheads that leave PIH scars. Thanks for the rec Cass ❤
I have seborreic dematitis. I needed dercutane for a year and a half. After the treatment i had little pimples and OMG the succinic acid is my best friend. I was for years even before the treatment without knowing wjat my skin needed and this is a must now
Thanks for doing these reviews you're really helping out your fellow acne sufferers! Just discovered inkey list excited to try some of those cause I'm inflamed 🔥 and I feel ya....those white outs sucked!
I have dry acne prone skin and it’s so hard to find products to help with texture and breakouts that don’t further dry me out. Can you please make a video about product recommendations or a whole affordable routine. Any k beauty or affordable brand would be amazing ❤
I was on accutane, and for some reason the omega water cream breaks me out!! I hadn’t had a zit in 8 months until I used it 😅 I was so sad because I know so many people who love it! Before accutane though, the salicylic acid cleanser was my best friend!
I’ve loved the succinic acid treatment ever since you recommended it in your spot treatment video but now I’m wondering if I could be getting more out of it. Question-what’s the best way to apply this product as a spot treatment? I usually just rub it right in where needed until it isn’t green anymore, but I noticed in this vid you leave a good amount of product on in its green state. Maybe I’m not applying enough? Application technique is so hard to research 🫠 thanks for your help big sis
I’m dry but my skin is OBSESSED with the Fulvic acid cleanser I have never tried the balm or Hyaluronic cleanser. If anyone in the comments has used the balm and didn’t like it please feel free to share what didn’t work I’m trying to decide if it will work for me or not 🙏
I have really dry, thin skin and have used the oat cleansing balm for 3-4 months. Do not like the weird sort of plasticky smell, the grainy texture or the thick film it leaves. I use another cleansing product afterwards but I think this is an odd pruduct😢 Difficult to get out of the tube as well as it is very thick and now it has started to separate on me. Will use it up as it was a gift but not repurchase😊
Their oat cleanser is so popular but I personally hate it. It's too heavy, leaves a film on my skin, no matter how much I rinse it. I love their Pha Toner and peptide moisturizer and Vit C with EGF and hyaluronic acid. Wish they had retinol 2%, maybe soon...Overall, I love Inkey List products, great company, and good products for my drier-than-dry skin. I still need to try PCA bond hair tx!
Yes, the oat cleanser is only good as a first step for people who double cleanse I‘d say. I personally love the fulvic acid cleanser - very gentle but still a great cleanse.
I tried 3 of their products: oat cleansing balm - could barely squeeze out, it was just soooooooo thick and from their website it was supposed to be easily squeezable, it also made my skin oily af, don’t think it cleansed well either; then I tried PHA toner, did not like it,every product I put after stung my skin, and once I changed to another toner, stinging went away; lastly I tried polyglutamic acid serum, it did the job of hydrating my skin, might be better than hyaluronic acid, but oh boy it stunk! I thought I was putting nail polish on me, that’s what it reminded me of.
your skin is so tough being able to use the succinic acid all over your face! My face is pretty durable, but that succinic acid one can dry me out really bad
I love the hyaluronic acid cleanser.it’s enough gentle for my acne prone combo skin. I actually bought it after seeing one of your previous video. I can use it while i'm pregnant and even during breastfeeding times. While i'm actually having trouble with my other products
Unfortunately none of the inky list's products are available where I am. Even the ordinary is not widely available and the few products that are aren't always readily available, GAWD why is it so hard to buy their retinol and granactive retinoids! Would love to try inky list's pha toner, omega water cream, and salicylic acid cleanser, as long as the price does not triple.
I would love your opinion on Ethique's Bliss Bar Gentle Solid Face Cleanser. I switched this and within a week my breakouts were gone and my face looks so healthy.
Let me tell you…you have changed my entire skincare game. I use the oat balm cleanser for removing makeup if I wear makeup that day, salicylic acid cleanser, HA serum, and the peptide moisturizer. The Fulvic Acid cleanser has helped clear up my dry, acne prone skin sooo much. I love it 😫 + it’s really gentle and great at removing makeup 👀 js

I know you aren't a fan of eye serums, but the inkey list caffeine eye serum works really well for me.

I was waiting to hear about their polyglutamic acid and also if anyone has tried their polyglutamic dewy sunscreen.
If you remember tape white out you should be using retinol
Thank you. But I could not find the vitamin c. Is it a hit or miss? :3
I don't know what's in the omega water cream, but my face is on fire every time I give it another chance. You can even see where my fingers have gone through 😔
I usually stick with the Ordinary buttt let me go ahead and take some notes over the Inkey List
I was for years even before the treatment without knowing wjat my skin needed and this is a must now
I have combo sensitive acne prone skin which inkey list moisturizer can you guys recommend 😭❤️
Yes, the tape. You described it perfectly.
Thanks for doing these reviews you're really helping out your fellow acne sufferers! Just discovered inkey list excited to try some of those cause I'm inflamed 🔥 and I feel ya....those white outs sucked!
Can anyone suggest a product for acne scars? My daughter has extremely fair skin and her acne leaves a lot of red marks.
I do love the Oat Cleansing Balm, i feel like it’s a must buy! But to each their own
I have dry acne prone skin and it’s so hard to find products to help with texture and breakouts that don’t further dry me out. Can you please make a video about product recommendations or a whole affordable routine. Any k beauty or affordable brand would be amazing ❤
Hey! We need a review of the new Julie Bowen Skincare brand! It's for teens and my brother wants to buy it
@felipe, Coming soon!
I’ve been eyeing the mandelic acid spot treatment and the second Cassandra said it’s good I went to Sephora and got it 😭😭
I’ve been using the retinol serum and I love it!
I love the Oat Cleansing Balm as well!!! 😍😍😍
The glycolic toner was actually very irritating for me sadly. I will definitely need to try the PHA.
you need to do this with good molecules!
I just tried the salicylic acid scalp exfoliator and so far so good!
I love the Salicylic Acid Cleanser!
@arthisarkar, thank you for your comment, great minds think alike. Have a great rest of your week!!
Most people need to use a cleanser after an oil or similar cleaner.
Hi,
I have acne prone skin. Can I use a Salicylic Acid Cleanser everyday ? Or every day is too much and will destroy my skin barrier ?
ooooo i'll have to give the succinic acid treatment a try! should I use it in substitution for azelaic acid?
Any thoughts on inkey list polyglutamic acid serum??
your skin is so tough being able to use the succinic acid all over your face!
They still make the tape whiteout. I see it more than the paint version lol
I used to use White out as nail polish 💅🏻
The Azelaic Acid serum has been amazing on my rosacea cheeks. Just added in the tranexamic acid serum for hyperpigmentation. Opinion on that one TBD.
Xennial here… I remember the tape white out. More fun than practical, but then again I hated the liquid stuff even more. 😆
I would love your opinion on Ethique's Bliss Bar Gentle Solid Face Cleanser. I switched this and within a week my breakouts were gone and my face looks so healthy.
You and I are connected, I was going to look for Inkey List products to try and add to my skincare routine 💜
Is the salicylic acid cleanser better than the cerave blemish control cleanser?
Omg the fact you gave the shout out to my fave Welch twins, made me subscribe to you (yes even those watched you for years) lol
Please a video on the inkey list super solutions!
I hate Oat balm, it‘s way too thick. I love the Heimish balm
What are your opinion on inkey list sa cleanser and the ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser
Did I catch a That Chapter reference during the moisturizer section of this video? I appreciate you more now lol
I thought the Inkey List was cheap at first.. nobody else noticed the price steadily increased
Yesss !!! The first time I bought the salicylic acid cleanser it costed 2€ less !!
