Heya Adam, I’m the lead the designer for the Made in Cincinnati exhibit! Your video just about brought a tear to my eye. I’m really glad to see you guys seeing and enjoying the exhibit. It makes my job extremely rewarding. Cheers to you!
So pleased for you Adam, you really do deserve this man. Such a gentleman and a true craftsman. This journey keeps getting better and I’m thankful to be along for the ride. Congratulations man. 👍🏻
The fact that they chose your footage out of everything out there is just awesome. You literally have museum quality representation of manual machining. So cool Adam.
That's what I was thinking too Adam. There's a ton of footage on manual machining operations out there..... And probably much of it could have been shot right there in Cincinnati, considering how industrial they were. And yet it was your footage -- beautifully shot by Abby -- that they chose to use for their display. THAT SAYS SOMETHING!
I think that your dad and your grandfather would be greatly pleased in the fact that you made it to be in a museum I think that’s great and I think they would believe that too.
Fascinating! Incredible! The museum using your videos was well deserved. You are a modern day master of your trade, and a credit to all machinists before you.
Adam, I wanted you to know my son just had an outing at that museum this past Thursday. I showed him this video, which he wasn't much interested in until you showed the title of your video on the screen. I had planned on taking him but his mother beat me to it. He sat here and watched the entire video with me, pretty well stoked that a guy I follow on YT was at a place where he had been. Great video.
What a great honour you are now a part of American history you should feel so proud to be considered by the museum that thinks highly of you and what you do to show the world how things are made and the machines are used in the way they should be
Several thoughts: First, congratulations! Your skill, attitude, and ethic are what led to the honor of being featured in this museum. The honor is well deserved! Second, after seeing you and Abby interact over many videos, I must say how much I appreciate your relationship. You are truly best friends and it shows. Thanks for the hard work that represents, and keep on loving each other well!
If anyone is to be recognized and showcased not only for their work but also for their professionalism in both life and work it couldn't go to anyone except you. In every video you show so much positivity and enthusiasm even when a mistake is made and share it with everyone. You always show and talk about how you dont take anything for granted and that working hard can make dreams a reality. The high level of friendship and kindness you show to everyone is something that should be modeled after and your continued dedication you show to your fans, to the educational and quality of every video you make is exemplary. Congratulations with the museum. I believe you deserve the recognition and more. Thank you for your videos and look forward to more of them.
Wow....! Who would have thought, a guy from Pensacola, a third generation machinist, who made some videos in this shop and at work... would have those videos displayed in a museum. It make me proud and excited as a long time viewer of the channel, and I know it must be an awesome feeling for ya'll to actually see your work displayed there. So proud of you....! Thanks for sharing footage of your trip....!
Way to go Adam! A well deserved honor as one who carries forward our heritage machining methods. Your dad and grandad would be proud. Nice work. Those are the videos that hooked me on your channel.
How awesome is this! It's a testament to the educational quality work you have been presenting on TH-cam. You're dad and granddad would be very proud of you Adam. Just to let you know, I've been inspired to get back into machining from watching your videos.
Congratulations Adam. How cool that this museum selected your videos to be used in their display. For me, it was even more cool seeing the Machining Heavy Metal video which was the very video that got me started binge watching your channel. TH-cam then suggested other creators like Lyle, the two Randy’s, two Keiths, and many others. Before I knew it, I was hooked and searching for machines and tools to make my own little shop. Now, owning a lathe and mill provides a chance to scratch some creative itch and brings many hours of enjoyable machine projects. Never would have happened had it not been for creators like you willing to share and teach the craft. Can’t help but wonder how many others have been inspired by you and the rest of the TH-cam machining community. Thank you so much for doing what you do!
So I have a PhD in art history and I regularly watch your videos because they are informative and well made. I learn all sorts of things about metalworking even though that is not my job, but because it helps me understand the world I live in. It also gives me lot to think about work and craft. I’m glad we both appreciate each other’s universe! This Cincinnati museum reminds me a lot of the Ottawa museum of science and technology. It’s very kid-friendly and it has lots of cool machines, from the gramophone to steam locomotives.
the 'Heavy Metal Machining' video was the first one of yours I saw. I was hooked! congratulations on being featured - you deserve it as you're keeping generations of craftsmanship alive
What a well deserved honor! I know the train station very well. In the 50's and 60's, I rode the "L&N Hummingbird" from Cincinnati to Montgomery and back many times. I think there are only 7 of the great Art Deco stations still standing. I am so glad that Cincinnati valued it's history enough to preserve it! It seems very appropriate to have your work be a part of that history! Congratulations Adam and keep up the great work!
It was never mentioned during this video - the station is still in use for Amtrak trains. There is a very limited line that goes up to Chicago. Wish Ohio and Amtrak would get together and restore the three C train line some day.
Congratulations Adam , I believe this makes you , that I've heard of, the first TH-camr to produce museum quality video. Lol . You should be proud. I've found your videos very informative and a joy to watch.
Awesome video of the museum. Congratulations on your videos becoming part of the exhibit, that is quite an honor! I'd love to go see that place one of these days.
So happy fo you! I live in Cincinnati, used to work for Makino, and inherited my grandfather's personal machine shop. Your skills in the shop and online are top notch. Your videos have been great to watch for inspiration as I re-acquaint myself with my grandfather's tools.
Congrats Adam for having some of your videos on display. You are definitely a good example to follow in machining. I’m glad they picked 3 of your videos to display. Your attention to detail and the pride you have in your work really shows. I’m sure that’s only part of why they picked your videos to display in their museum
Congratulations Adam. What an honor for you to be selected as a great example of how several of these machines are used and how they operate. To be a part of this outstanding and beautiful museum must be overwhelming, an honor you richly deserve. Thank you so much for sharing this humbling experience with us.
you ask how cool is that, well on the cool scale that is awesome, what a privilege it is to have your work on display to literally thousands of museum patrons now and in the future, your grandad and dad would be proud of you, what an achievement AB,
My father retired from "The Mill" after 42 years. He worked at several different locations, finally retiring from the Oakley Products division. It was once a great company to work for. It put a lot of food on a lot of tables in the city and the surrounding counties. I worked at the Oakley grinding wheel plant (products) in the late 90s. That was really the beginning of the end. I started out inspecting grinding wheels, then moved into the finish machining of them. Really simple lathe and milling operations. A lot of memories! A lot of people know someone who's worked for Milacron. Well done Sir.
Well it only makes sense. First you’re gonna want to show the actual operation of machines that are pertinent to what us being shown. You’re going to want video with top shelf production and editing. I don’t know of anyone who does all that better than Adam Booth. He’s there because he deserves to be there.
After the decline of train travel the place fell into disrepair. They could not find anyone who wanted or could use the building and it was almost torn down. Then the Natural History Museum stepped up and moved in just in time to spare the wrecking ball. A bunch more of the murals were saved and moved to the Greater Cincinnati Airport and put on display there during there major remolding. They are smaller but much more interesting. When you come out of the museum and were to turn left, just 5 miles up the road is where Carlton Machine---Lodge and Shipley---Gilbert Machine and a few others were located. Just 10 minutes up I-71 was Cincinnati Milling Machine and R k Leblond were locater and both are torn down and are now shopping centers. Just 10 minutes away on the other side of town is where American Tool Works was, home of your Pacemaker. At one time Cincinnati was one of largest producers of tooling (and beer) in the world until the foreign countries took over. I drove a truck in Cincinnati for 46 years and have made deliveries to all of them. Also my grandfather was a machinist and I still have a few of his tools some of which are around 100 years old.
Adam, I might be only a subscriber from South Africa, but I almost felt American there and for a moment you could have been my older brother. So proud of you bro! You have been validated!
Congratulations to you both. I enjoy your videos and they will now live in a beautiful place. Keep up the great work. Family oriented videos by a true professional and lovely wife. You can see how proud she is and we are for you too.
Nice job Adam I remember watching those videos when you made them. Your Grandpa and Dad would be so proud of you. I got to meet you a few years ago in Independence Mo. I’m from Mo. and have watch your channel from the beginning. You are a damn good machinist and even a better person, it’s been nice to see how your life has changed over the years. It’s obvious that Abby is truly proud of you and you two are great together and that’s another thing to be proud of so stick to your goals and keep up the good work. Proud viewer from the Show Me state. 👍🏻
very cool video. i grew up in Cincinnati and my dad worked at Cincinnati Milacron for years. before it was known as Cincinnati Milling Machine. they were located in Oakley not to far from the museum. i got to tour the main buildings back when i was a lot younger. He was a electrical engineer and helped design all the control panels for the machines.
Outstanding Adam to have you and your footage in the Museum. You deserve it Sir. Also you walking around you are slow and not jerking cam around. Congrats
Attaboy Adam ! We, your admiring followers, are hugely proud of you and of your accomplishments. I like to think that your two forebears - father and grandfather, wherever tehy are - look upon you with great pride and boundless love and gratitude. You are proof their lives were well spent.
Thanks for taking us along with you Adam & Abby. Spectacular doesn't even come close to describe the building, but it will have to do for now ! The quality of the exhibits looked pretty high (enhanced no doubt by the Abom video footage) and the homage paid to the designers, engineers and businessmen who came before us is well deserved. Little thought is often given to the machines that built the machines that built the machines. Congratulations on the honour. Best wishes for the new shop and look forward to the next video.
Remarkable. And all this -- the history, the exhibit itself, your work represented... it all speaks of people who care about what they're doing. Just push the rest of it out of the way and be positive for a while. Thanks.
Welcome to Cincinnati! (my back yard) If you ever happen to fly into/out of CVG - there are several more tile Murals/mosaics installed in baggage claim area that were saved from the demolition of the old railroad concourse at Cincinnati Union Terminal. You technically do not have to fly though CVG, as baggage claim is on the 'non-secure' side of the airport, so you can just walk in and check them out. There are several more (9 of them I believe) visible from outside of the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati. Look up 'Winold Reiss industrial murals' for more historical details. FWIW: The company I work at, used to cast lathe beds for R.K. LeBlond back when we had a foundry.
Long time viewer from Cincinnati here, I've been waiting for something like this forever. Congratulations Adam, it always warmed my heart with how highly you've always spoke about Cincinnati machines.
Congratulations Adam. I’ve watched them all and this is among your best videos. Not only do you make metal- You are made of good metal inherited from your father and grandfather. Again- congratulations and much success in the future, George
They completed a renovation a few years ago. I worked there as an electrician. Above the ceiling in the dome, I sighed the steal structure next to some from the original construction.
Congratulations Adam for your videos end up in a museum personal note you very much mate between you Cutting Edge Engineering Australia had put me out of deep depression you very much mate
If your dad could see you now! Congratulations, bud. I have spent HOURS on Saturday and Sunday morning watching your machining videos. Thank you and again, Congratulations.
I do not miss a single video of yours. Now I will have to travel to Cincinnati/OH to watch it again! Congratulations. Its a testament of your humanity to share your knowledge.
I never knew you were so close to me. I love the museum center. I miss the old Natural history museum, though. Awesome that you get to be a part of it!
It's truly amazing how better a building is when its designed with quality building materials and artistic features in mind. I couldn't imagine that building, it's design, the layout it serves and so forth being engineered any better today than this one was in the 1930's. Surely the pride in craftsmanship wouldn't exist today by any means.
Your grandfather & dad are part of this achievement in your life. Your experience & things that you have also learned along the way have put you on a high pedestal with your viewers. Your wife is now part of your success & your are very lucky to have her in your life. Bravo mate. Rom Australia 🇦🇺
Congratulations to you Adam. I grew up in Cleveland and have always said Cincinnati is the second best city in Ohio. They took pride in the work they did. Many machine tools have come from there.
Okay I'm an Aussie and I am very happy about that.. but I gotta say, You guys of The USA should be, and deserve to be so proud of yourselves. This video shows magnificent American architecture in the style of American Art Deco in all it's grandeur. A museum of good old American know how.. Pride in American made that is always of the highest standard. The American people who built the machines that built the machines that built America. I am proud of you Americans for creating the country you have.. You excel in every field of achievement in the modern world.. The United States Of America is a beacon of what is good and right and we Australians and the rest of the world appreciate it.
I "grew up" in Cincinnati. I came here around 4th grade and went through The nature museum side. I came back as an adult for meetings of the Miles Greenwood Society and the Omni Max.. it's amazing the number of manufacturers in and around Cincy. Just about anything you can imagine was made hear. I still live in Clermont County just East of here.
Can`t fool me that easy, that`s The Hall of Justice. Seriously though, what a fantastic museum. Adam, congratulations on the videos entries in the museum. This is a fantastic video. So glad you are willing to spend the time and effort to teach us machining. Your videos and work are always appreciated. Thanks brother.
Big congrate's and thankss for the great tour.We old Texans lifed in Ohio 13 years but never knew this Museum existed. If I ever go back to visit, we be on my bucket list for sure. Bear
Hey Abom, please put the links to those 3 videos so people can find them exactly. That is so awesome that your video's are going to teach many people not just on TH-cam. I think they should have a tiny addition that can be a "want to learn more?" and bring people to your channel.
This episode made me so happy. The pride your bride has for you is an inspiration as is the hard work and care you put into to the videos and machining you do. Huge kudos
Now that is cool! That's gotta feel pretty great to see your content at a Museum. Good of them to actually ask for your permission to use your content.. A lot of people these days wouldn't even bother, lol. Thanks for taking us along Adam !
Heya Adam, I’m the lead the designer for the Made in Cincinnati exhibit! Your video just about brought a tear to my eye. I’m really glad to see you guys seeing and enjoying the exhibit. It makes my job extremely rewarding. Cheers to you!

Plus one, so true. Nothing more to say other than you'd be the neighbours anybody wants.
I second that!

congratulations Adam! A well deserved honor.
Adom, you killed it on this video.!!!! Made me feel very patriotic...Oh and never change the intro song....
Wow....! Who would have thought, a guy from Pensacola, a third generation machinist, who made some videos in this shop and at work... would have those videos displayed in a museum. Thanks for the virtual tour of the town I grew up in. Brings back a lot of memories of my family and friends back home.
Thanks, brings back so many memories. My Dad worked there as an electrician in the 50's and 60's, and to me it was like a second home as I grew up.
the 'Heavy Metal Machining' video was the first one of yours I saw. I was hooked!
congratulations on being featured - you deserve it as you're keeping generations of craftsmanship alive
Your wife's reaction to your video being in the museum, brought a tear to my eye. Dang it I'm trying to be manly about this but I'm proud of you too.
Always a honour to leave behind a testament to what you have done....Dad and Granddad are proud to be sure.
What a well deserved honor! I know the train station very well. In the 50's and 60's, I rode the "L&N Hummingbird" from Cincinnati to Montgomery and back many times. Both of you are wonderful folks, congratulations Adam and Abby for a well-deserved recognition and tribute to your skills.
Heck, bud, didn't think you were old enough to be in a museum yet. I'm super proud of you, sir.
I’m just grinning ear to ear with you and Abby. I’ve been watching from the very beginning and am so proud for you.

Just gets a big wow. CONGRATULATIONS ADAM , ABOM in a museum in exhibit. For his machining videos. That's being recognized for your abilities.
Congratulations Adam. The work that you do shows your dedication to perfection. What a proud moment this must be.
Well it only makes sense. First you’re gonna want to show the actual operation of machines that are pertinent to what us being shown. You’re going to want video with top shelf production and editing. Congratulations on all of your achievements, I have followed you for years and really enjoy your video's and content.
The renovations of the station and upgrades have taken place over the past several years. The results show. Congratulations on being included.

I have missed Abby’s excitement on here. Especially when she is more excited about a machine than you get, that is nice.
Congratulations Adam that is soooo cool. Very proud of you
Thanks for taking us along with you Adam & Abby.

Wow, what a beautiful museum! Congrats on being part of the exhibit!!!
Adam, you should be proud. Not only are you a top notch machinist, you are quite the talented filmmaker. Congrats!

Hey Abom, please put the links to those 3 videos so people can find them exactly. That is so awesome that your video's are going to teach many people not just on TH-cam. I think they should have a tiny addition that can be a "want to learn more?" and bring people to your channel.
Art Deco is just the best.
