    Very nice water. Is there a way to slow down Suzanne in the "under water" with any effectors to simulate the water resistance? I am new to blender and flip fluids, but I know they do not interact with rigid bodies. Thank you

    • @aliamir85
      @aliamir85  ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately that water resistance you are asking is not included in flip fluid simulation by itself, you should create it manually using force fields.

    Great tutorial man, thanks! Only problem I don't have Whitewater foam and bubbles material, only Water Ocean Volumetric. Maybe because Im using Demo version?

    • @aliamir85
      @aliamir85  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you. Yes may be because you are using the demo version. Actually I do not consider it as a tutorial, I just recorded the workflow and published it without explaining some details, becaude I am very busy for the next upcoming months. In the near future I hope I can make some nice tutorials with more details.

    Have the Paid version of the Flip Fluids addon but the bubbles and foam are not appearing or showing up :/ Followed the complete video though. What could be the problem ?

    • @aliamir85
      @aliamir85  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First you have to activate white water simulation in the options, second, the bubbles and foam will appear at the end of rendering each frame. I think there is an option that make it appear in real time viewport rendering.

    • @aliamir85

      This project was done with the premium version of flip fluid, not the demo one.

    Hi, thanks for the great tutorial! I found that when simulating fluid using Blender's Mantaflow, the number of particles changes every frame. Not sure why. I need constant number of fluid particles in my animation. Will the FLIP Fluids addon help to solve this problem? Thanks!

    • @aliamir85
      @aliamir85  ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually I have a little background on how mantaflow works but I think in flipfluid the number of particles will not change.

    Hi, I've been troubled by a problem for a long time and have searched for many videos that don't match the effect I'm talking about, so I'd like to ask you for advice. Do you know how to use Blender to simulate the effect of an object falling into and surfacing from the water? Looking forward to your answer!

    • @aliamir85
      @aliamir85  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think you mean how to make an object float on water surface. Actually I think blender cannot simulate this effect by its water simulation physics. I remember I watched a video with a floating object on water surface but the motion of the floating object is made by blender physics, not related to the water itself.

    • @bonanzachiang143
      @bonanzachiang143 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ali Amir Oh,well, it would be a bit of a shame if Blender couldn't emulate it, but thanks for the reply!

      May be you should bake the simulation first, try to delete all bakes first and rebake your simulation. I think if you follow the exact steps you will get the fluid effect.

    • @aliamir85
      @aliamir85  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, blender is a free 3d software, which include modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging, animation and other features. As I said it is a free software, but here in this video, I used a paid addon for fluid simulation called "flip fluid". Inside blender you can create fluid simulations for free using another tool called "mantaflow".
