This is my review of the Lone Rider ADV Tent. I've tested it in all sorts of conditions and for the past few months, it has become my favourite home away from home on the road. It's spacious, it's lightweight and durable. It's everything that I need in a motorcycle tent for travelling around the world.

Tent looks good, like the map, the zips for your cable's, but I really like you don't have to roll up the doors, very roomy but packs small.

I don't know if you mentioned, does it have vents at the top on the rain fly, so there's no indoor rainstorms from condensation buildup? (if that makes sense)

Hi, thank you for posting this video. Although it has been more than a year ago I have a question. I use a MSR tent but the poles broke after a few weeks. How are the poles of your tent holding? I really need a tent with poles which can last last a long time. Keep up posting u'r great videos and safe traveling.

Great helpful vid, I am looking at adventure type boots, ie ones I can ride and walk up hills ie round interesting sights on the way! Yours look good. Have you type manu of your boots?
I love your ADV tent but just have one question re: the S.O.S. groundsheet, why did they make the SOS printing so small? It only covers about 1/6th of the groundsheet area, I would have thought they'd want it as big as possible so as to be easily seem from aircraft flying high overhead?
Good review. But why a tent, where you pitch up the inner non waterproof first? For travelling in hot conditions it´s maybe good choice, but in central Europe? Or where it could be rain even in summer? Besides an interesseting tent.

What blow up mat do you use and how wide is it? Do you use a mummy bag or a quilt?
I like the tent & when I saw the price I did think it was expensive until I looked at other similar products. A traveller such as Kinga, where the tent is used every day, needs a quality product. Someone who goes for the occasional weekend trip will probably be able to get away with a cheaper, lower quality tent. At 349 Euro it's not cheap but compared to the 700,800,AUD$900 stuff out there & a tent specifically tailored to the needs of a motorcycle traveller it seems well priced. However it's not tortoise 😀proof...

Went to order the ADV tent and the coupon is invalid. It is almost two years old though. Missed out on the Black Friday sale so I'll wait until another sale comes by. I have a Marmot Limelight 3p and Go-Lite tipi that works well but to be honest the ADV tent is everything I've been looking for. Stay safe Kinga!

It’s a good tent but I prefer my tent to have an external pole system with the fly being kept attached to the tent allowing it to be set up in the rain and still staying dry inside.. just my preference
Supertrucker207 Have a look at the LoneRider MotoTent, it might be what you want. The inner tent is already attached when packed, so it is bone dry inside when you set up in heavy rain.
