  • How good it is Lone Rider Motorcycle Tent?
    Finally, my new tent arrived and of course, I cannot wait to test it. It looks like a really quality product and the room inside is more than I need. The specifications are exactly what I need and after I test it and am more than happy to take it with me on my journey around North Europe.

    At the beginning I thought beacouse of all the angles, the tent looks very tricky to make, but the fact that the poles are attached all together made me change my mind.
    Thanks palvin! Good and compete review 👏

    Pavlin, I think this is a great tent for long term travelling like you do. For shorter trips I couldn't justify the price and like a tent that goes up quickly so went for the slumit cub 2....goes up in 30 seconds and is only €90. Be interested to hear your long term review of this though. Keep up the great videos 👍🇬🇧

    Wow..would not have imagined such a big 2 person tent opened up from such a small compact pack. Love the openings of those...1 on each side and nice and wide. Build quality i trust Pavlin knows when he sees it. Love you Pavlin. Great video.
    Definetly expensive, but i guess any real good quality product does assume that the customer actually uses repetitively and for many years. If you take that into factor...you will easily get your money's worth.

    I think that 350 Euros are not cheap, but that's not so unbeatably highpriced like the (not even better!) quality of Hilleberg, Wolfskin,Fjällräven & co! For your LR-tent you pay the quality and not only the name... It will be a pleasure for me to watch your longterm-review!!

  • @laszlobauer5274

    As you always say, there is a place and time for camping. I understand that for most of us, having a tent for 350 euros and all the stuff you need to camp is just not worth it. Probably in Finland, Norway and Denmark, it's worth it, because the accommodation prices there are crazy high, especially if you have to pay it all alone. I don't need a tent, I just watched because I watch all your videos. :D

    In my opinion, €350.- for a regular tent sounds ridiculous. Personally I can recommend the €40.- (2 person) Decathlon tent for people who want to save €310.-.

      @swiftx1989 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Actually, €350 is ok for a high quality tent. But I agree that the Decathlon is a nice budget option. I’ve used it in difficult conditions and it hasn’t failed yet. It’s easier to setup than this tent and lighter too, but not as roomy. Consider how much you will pay for a hotel room if your tent fails :)

  • @40spokes99

    Decent video, but if you look at the lone rider set up video, the two cross poles for the entrances should be on top of the main pole.

  • @JC-PifPaf
    @JC-PifPaf 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Good review. You could give some more numeric info about weight and dims, unfolded sizes, length of poles. But ... do you really need to take a measuring tape with you?
    Looking at other comments - durability and performance of the tent will be defending themselves in Scandinavia. Why don't you make a second approach to this tent from the North, Pavlin?
    Don't even try to compare cheaper lightweight tents to the one presented. Clear, 350€ is a lot but quality costs.

    Hi Pavlin great wideo and review like always, I have enjoined your bout books really useful information and I thank you for sharing it, the tent what you reviewing is wery nice but(always but) is far to expensive for what it is, I am a big camping fan and I have a bessport 2 person tent and is almost the same and cost only 70€, I spent 1 day and night in hawie rain and inside was all nice and dry

  • @sunnymas2656
    @sunnymas2656 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    In addition to say:
    Two entrances = doors. Gives better ventilation.
    And better for two-person-use. Everyone can enter or leave the tent, without disturbing the other one.
    Large vestibules. And TWO of it.
    ie to store your gear, or cooking. So you have more space inside the tent.
    And with rain protection.
    Good idea: With a ground sheet included.
    Congratulation, that you have got this tent.
    And you can use it, on all your next trips.
    This tent looks like Made in China. It can be good quality too.
    But I cannot understand this high price for it.

    I'd never review a tent until I'd put it up in the rain and the wind and spent a night of bad weather in it so so can see for myself how it copes with that. Had too many that look the part and then leak, or fold or tear in the wind and rain.

      Now it´s summer = less rain.
      And when you got a product, the company expects the video about it.
      So, using this way is also ok. To present the product, but to keep it.

    How can you do a thorough review without having tested this tent in various weather conditions? If you haven't slept in it through days of rain, had it subjected to high winds, and rough terrain, what good is this "review" for people who want to know how it'll hold up short term, and long term, in various types of conditions? This isn't a review, it is an advertisement.
