Line's and Tammy's friendship wasn't talked about enough. From the auditions till Tammy left, they were wonderful friends, always having each other's backs.. It was beautiful to watch
David will always be my favorite homecook, he doesn't get overly confident but is always proud of the dish he's presenting. He always seems inspire and ready to fight, you can see he's under pressure and worrying but none of that is dragging him down to reach his goal.
David just gives me a good guy vibes. He looks kind and there is a softness and kindness in his face and eyes. He looked so smiley and happy when he was talking to chef Elliott. My fav so far. He got a lot praises from chefs. Must be good!
“there’s a beer in your basket” “yeah i wanted to drink it” and “you have 150 sticks of butter” “i’m french” are the two best lines in all of mc canada
I gotta say I love Masterchef Canada for the Judges being so... relatable? They critic on a nice level and very rarely get angry - and then there is the US version, where there is just screams, food thrown away and gordon Ramsy.
Joe is so delusional and I hate how the American version always try to make as much drama as possible to the point of eliminating better cooks for attention seeking contestants that can't cook properly. I think it got better overtime but still early seasons were bad.
My ex-wife (now deceased for two years this Thanksgiving upcoming) and I spent many hours consuming this and several other cooking shows. It's rather poignant to watch this and be unable to pick up the phone and say, "You gotta watch this," or, "I just left the store and I'm headed to your house to replicate this challenge," etc. Thanks for the memories! ❤️
Yeah. If someone somehow hasn't seen what a lovely person Tammy is until now, the reaction of the other competitors really tells you all you need to know.
He had someone else's basket though...😅 The result could have been different if he had his original one.... Besides it's not an underestimation. David just stated that Christopher is usually known for dessert skills so seafood might not be in his alley.. Never mind though. I love both David and Christopher
David might have chosen the conch because he thought Christopher would have struggled with it. I think David knows Christopher's potential. David did say he wanted to take the strong homecooks out.
Yes they are! Especially Michael, this also reminded me of the time when the judges in Masterchef Australia literally cried along-with when one of the contestants became emotional on being eliminated. MC Canada and MC Australia are the best shows.
I love the Canadian judges. They can be tough but still respectful and show they care about the contestants. I would choose them over that guy who kept throwing dishes in the dumpster.
I love the Canadian judges. They can be tough but still respectful and show they care about the contestants. I would choose them over that guy who kept throwing dishes in the dumpster.
I actually snorted with laughter at around the 19:30 mark. Hearing someone go "I hate you" as they book it under David on the balcony was honestly hilarious XD
Sabrina was hilarious in her reasoning.. Why would you parboil the conch then shock it in ice water? 😂😂😂what was the point of parboiling? Are they eggs? 😂😂
It's actually fair play that these are basically scheduled for 6pm UK time every wednesday, can catch up on the series properly, especially as so used to have watching the entire 7 seasons in clips. Plus 2 videos of Masterchef Canada in 1 day is some going.
I’m so amazed by what these home cooks can make from scratch especially with that challenging twist. They should be chef by now or at least opened their own restaurants.
I’m glad to see her go…she lacked confidence and was whiny because she could never handle their critiques 😣😭…Go cook for your 6 kids, where you’ll never get a complaint🙄
i love Christopher explaining his dish paella. sometimes you need to relay on your sense and ur intuition. If you believe it is delicious and you will make a delicious dish.❤
David looks like such a nice genuine guy. ❤ N chris's such an impressive young cook .😊 N michael super talented n funny guy 😅 N lastly so heartbreaking to see super talented strong woman like Tammy go away 💔
If David was to win the mystery box challenge, he should have been called in the top three not in the fourth position. All this seems fixed do that David can be the winner.
It’s probably because people don’t expect people who work with hard materials like stone or cement or other to have such a gentle handle or the amount of creativity they have.
I'm pretty sure he just said 'unfortunately, I don't think that...' which is so funny to think about why they could have censored it. Possibly just a production error, because it's not like they censored his mouth.
I scrolled down as soon as I heard it to find answers. I can’t imagine Claudio would just randomly say ‘unfortunately shitty fish varieties to make this a very authentic stew’.
Love how the judges also acknowledged that Michael's grocery choice is what led Christopher to successfully make that incredible looking paella. Having to cook with a competitor's choice of ingredients is definitely a very difficult twist
The minute I saw some of them tossing out the good ingredients that some of the other chefs picked I knew things were gonna go down hill fast. Micheal practically gift wrapped that win with a good mix of ingredients that any wise chef would know how to use for solid results. That is what helped another to pick up a win he would have gotten if he had that basket.
Came here to find out the same thing😂. Felt weird because what he said was so quick and I don’t think they bleep the swearing in these youtube full episodes.
wait, we had joe bastianic in season 1 of masterchef canada who is a judge in US version, now in season 2 it was Graham Elliot who is also a judge in US version.. is it gonna be gordon or aaron sanchez in season 3 or 4????
Compare this with the S1 episode with Joe, Joe spent his time critiquing the home cooks and acting all intimidating when he didnt have an ounce of culinary talent while Graham was warm and complimentary with everyone even if he was a judge
David's humble, quite but a strong competitor. I knew he will be on top and searching in google who the winner was in this season feel good watching up to the whole episode now. Watching from the Philippines.
Hi there! I'm from Argentina and I do not follow the show, just happened to be watching it today. I didn't get quite well the first challenge selection mechanism. The judges didn't try the dishes from the participants that weren't called. ¿Were they just choosing on the looks? ¿What's the point of cooking if nobody is going to try your food? =( On the other hand I really like the humble attitude of the judges and the cooks are so skilled. Congrats!
Tammy was one of the best contenders this season. Hoped to see her in the F5. What a horrible way to go. Line and Tammy were definitely my F2. Hope to see Tammy back for another season 😭💔
Graham elliot is more fitting to be in MasterChef canada, hes more forgiving. Also, Gordon can stay and Joe can go work in one of his restaurants instead

I agree, him and John just really gives off that wholesome feel
In Master Chef Canada, yes its David.

Love Graham, very mild mannered and encouraging to the home cooks. The most personable judge
I gotta say I love Masterchef Canada for the Judges being so... relatable? They critic on a nice level and very rarely get angry - and then there is the US version, where there is just screams, food thrown away and gordon Ramsy.
You forgot Joe.
Ramsay is harsh and comforting. Tbh I love chef Michael but Ramsay reminds me of my mom, wo whom I'd not be where im standing rn.
It's not just the judges. The contestants seem to have mutual respect for each other even if they are at odds and that to me is healthy competition.
Joe is so delusional and I hate how the American version always try to make as much drama as possible to the point of eliminating better cooks for attention seeking contestants that can't cook properly. I think it got better overtime but still early seasons were bad.

One of the saddest elimination in Canada MC, everybody loves tammy. No one expect her to eliminate this early
