Sabrina: "The green team wins. I don't understand what's going on". Their food was simple, easy and delicious. Plus they did not spend time bickering the other teams.
Facts! I have really come to like Line. Recently I found out after her time on MC, she lost one of her daughters to addiction and now she is fighting breast cancer. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I'm rooting for her once again. ❤
It's sad to find out about her daughter's addiction. Life is so tough for Line but I respect her for her tenacity and drive. I hope Line's health has improved significantly.
Truly, you can never underestimate someone who failed once. You never know if that person already learned what she's supposed to learn and start succeeding from there on.
19:38 Sabrina’s face and everyone else is priceless like Line is not a perfect person either but I was glad Line won and the ppl saying that they wouldn’t save themselves if they were team captains had to eat their words and be in the pressure test 🫢
Idk if you noticed, but from watching the part when the chefs have announced the winning team, I have noticed that Kwasi is the only person in that specific field spot who showed sportsmanship and how much of a kind person he is for the green team's victory despite of the high disappointment and unfairness reflecting at the faces of his fellow Blue teammates and the Red Team. It's just sad that his MC journey had ended at this episode.
Kwasi seems to be an incredible person. He might not be good enough for this competition, but he is certainly the person I'd love to meet the most. Hope he's doing great.

Sabrina was like the Kaila of this season - she might not have been popular, but she was recognized by the judges for putting good dishes together, and she did earn her way into the top 3. With that said, the dynamic between Jennifer and Sabrina could have roasted some raw steaks to charcoal briquettes...
You really think David is that kinda guy? Man never spoked badly about any of the other contestants even when the judges did the whole “who do you think is going home today?” Thing.
Kwazi and Christopher should've been sent up to the balcony to be saved. They're the only 2 who showed good sportsmanship being happy for Lin and the others winning
Line's Definitely The Kaila this Season!😂 Being doubted many times and literally an underdog this season but always proves her worth and kicks everyone's @sses😹
I'm rewatching the series and hadn't seen a lot previously. Unfortunately I misjudged Line because of what I had seen. And the way she looked, made me put her in the same category as those people from the "Real Housewives"-shows. But with all that I've seen now she comes off as something miles above that. I never found out her military background back then for example.
I’m so glad Line’s team won!! The satisfaction I got from the other teams being absolutely mind blown that they lost lmao I like how the green team proved them wrong 🤭 some of the contestants really out here giving mean girl energy like it’s hs.
There's a possibility that a lot of those students were migrants and most people can't eat Beef or Bacon due to religious or cultural reasons. Chicken is the only choice for many and that also helped green team
I didn’t like how Sabrina called line a sneak just for saving herself that one time. Yes morally it’s right to stay in and save somebody else but at the same time it’s a competition, you want to get ahead and win, that’s the whole point/reason why your there. Never liked Sabrina, she always seem so stuck up
ITS A BIT LATE BUT I AGREE, like girl from what i can see from both david and sabrina the one they save is one of the weakest competitor there so saving them is much easier to win in the later game
Alvin crushed David’s feelings with the ham and cheese filling comment haha. Also Sabrina really does act like a high school mean girl haha. Over the season she acted like a brat. One last thing, someone please get Cody a muzzle.
The butter chicken Poutine looks so delicious 🤤... I didn't knew that butter chicken can compliment amazingly with fries🍟 Also the sportsmanship from Kwasi is so motivational... Unfortunately his MasterChef Canada journey came to the end this early
So glad to see Sabrina's ego get absolutely smashed. Her poutine was too simple and it wasn't innovative. David and Line had good ideas, and it was innovative. David's downfall for his poutine was it had too many components on it, so it took way too long to put it all together.
And another thing, Sabrina sat there and said "It's like a two man race." Girl, the green team sold so many plates they had to make MORE butter chicken. I didn't see anyone else make more of their protein because they were selling so much.
This is by far my most favourite episode in masterchef history. No idea how many times I have watched this poutine challenge… even though Line was not my favourite contestant, in this episode I felt for her..everyone else underestimated their team and finally the underdogs won. It was so satisfying seeing the green team cheering when they announced the winner and the startled look on everyone else’s face😜 So satisfying and forever my favourite episode❤
for beef poutine, I love the flank steak idea, but I would have went with a mole' sauce and cotija cheese with some pickled jalapeno and cilantro for topping
That butter chicken poutine deserved to win. It looks so delicious. That's the one I would have gone back for second and third helpings of if I had been there on the day. I love the fact they sold so much of it they had to prep another batch to keep up with the demand. :) Also prepping an order and then showing it to the crowd before things got started was a wise move. Would get their mouths watering and drive them towards the green stand.
Jennifer honestly helped build a very successful dish. I don't understand what's the problem with her "talking and talking" when she is actually planning every detail of the menu.
In this episode, contestants cook at the University of Guelph, famous for its potatoes, leading to a thrilling and unpredictable show. Most intriguing was the narrative of the underdog green team, led by "Line", who despite earlier failures and odds, seized a second chance to lead. The red team's captain, "David", strategically chose the proteins and team members, giving the green team chicken, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise for Line. While the red team showcased effective communication, the blue team, led by "Sabrina", showed less desirable dynamics for me especially because of Jon & Sabrina, The cooking phase was exciting, with each team hustling to create Poutine, and humorous moments like Jennifer's roasting of the blue team. The episode's turning point came when the green team's steady line outperformed the initially longer lines of the others. This highlighted that service speed and quality outmatch quantity, leading the green team to victory despite internal disagreements. The students' critiques of the dishes were insightful, calling out the blue team's basic dish and the red team's missing bacon. The pleasure of seeing the other teams' smugness disappear, particularly at timestamp 17:27 - 17:30, was pure pleasure The unexpected win by the green team underscored the lessons of humility, teamwork, and perseverance, and the idea that positions and titles are temporary, but how we treat people will be remembered. It was an emotional rollercoaster, offering insights into professional cooking, team dynamics, and resilience. I eagerly anticipate the lessons the contestants take from this and how they apply them in future challenges. Im not the biggest fan of Line's Team but I like how this episode turned out
"I was a cool kid in highschool, never got picked last, cant start now." There is something about Michaël that i hate. maybe its his huge ego and unapologetic arrogance.
Between saving yourself and fighting other homecooks who used to be your teammates, I don't think either option is better, and ofcourse, why bother doing things in a hard way when you can make it easier for yourself? It's clearly not the time to "prove yourself" if that means digging your own grave
I don't know why the other teams are looking down on line for choosing to save herself. She's here to win the competition, not to look like a saint and be a "hero".
The Blue Team went back to campus and immedietly turned back into the "cool" kids that think of the school days as the best time of their lives. Sabrina became a bully and John and Kwazi became the Jock Football players.
