Kaegan giving up control of the team during the restaurant challenge was a perfect display of one of the most important and difficult leadership lessons to learn: understanding in a pressure situation that you are not the most qualified person to get the job done and recognizing that a subordinate is better suited for the task. Hopefully he learned from it, that's the second most difficult thing to do when it comes to leadership.
I didn’t see this series, but just from this compilation and as a major foodie, I’m so impressed with her in every way. Naturally talented, great palate, calm under pressure, but also willing to lay down the demands when someone needs a rocket up them.
It does my heart good to see these guys actually help out their competitors at the end of the challenge; their excessive kindness is something I so admire in my beautiful and kind northern neighbors!
I love her attitude so much. So sweet and encouraging, but also a competitor in her own sweet and confident way. She is definitely one of my favorites to watch and I'm so glad she was able to bring home that trophy. Very deserving.
Yeah, he had to go through almost every kind of humiliation possible in masterchef : got eliminated, had to give up captaincy, had to obey a 19-year old girl twice, had to work with the 1 contestant he had a beef with, made a cake without sugar (how can you forget sugar in a cake in masterchef!) and so on.

Kaegan is the man for hanging in there. As a Chef, I look for that trait in my Cooks more than anything else. And Eugene's dish is just one of the most brilliant ideas I've ever seen.
The biggest moment for me was Kaegan giving up the leadership to the same person he fired shots at when he got eliminated the first time. Which to me shows that for once someone was able to change his mind about a person in a positive way rather than a negative.
funny thing is beccy’s construction background probably plays a large portion into the demeanor that none of these professional seem to understand..pressure on jobsites is miles above pressure in a kitchen..there’s no life and death in a kitchen
@@xxoxEMxoxx agreed improper work in the kitchen can kill someone and as someone who watches Gordon ramsay i remember a specific video where they were serving dead and contaminated live lobsters and one of the customers had to go to the hospital. Both construction and chef jobs have dangers

Saying either one has more pressure than the other simply isn’t true. First off, I HIGHLY doubt you’ve worked in both to know, and even if you have, there are different scenarios. Different kitchens and different construction sites. Some kitchens will put some construction sites to shame in pressure, and vice versa.
15:09 I remember when this episode aired, I was yelling at the TV, because none of the chefs thought of one crucial aspect that would have likely given them a HUGE advantage! Dogs can't eat chocolate, and most can't eat pork (bacon) and whenever a dog owner has a donut or other treat, their dog expects to get at least a small bit of it. So, had any of them made a dog-friendly donut, they would have swept the win for sure.
OMG I thought the same thing! Like imagine you make a donut for humans, and a donut hole for a dog, using all dog safe ingredients! I'd so vote for that
That's not a face of someone who's arrogant he's just too overconfident there, the example of arrogant face is when Dale serve a raw porterhouse in season 1
