Cristina won't come. Maybe for a series finale, but Sandra Oh has moved past it. Katherine Heigl (Izzie) won't either. Shonda dislikes her and even though Shonda is no longer the show runner, it is her show and she's made her feelings on Heigl quite clear. As for Sara (Callie) a possibility for guest star, but I have feeling she left with some negative feelings towards Grey's (not sure where it's directed, but not towards the cast. At least not all the cast). As for Sarah Drew, she was devastated when she was fired/let go and was interviewed later and said no, at least she at that moment she didn't want to go back. That it can change, but not right now.

The fact that two incredible caracters leave the show AGAIN remind me how i miss the old Grey’s. If two people should have been endgame (except merder) it’s Jackson and April. Nothing lasts in Greys and it’s becoming really exhausting. For a great show like it, it would have been better to say STOP sometimes

However, I do not believe that her and Jackson were meant to be together. They were not each other's ideal partner, by any means, but that made her story (the marriage and divorce) even more interesting.
As much as I miss her. I’m happy she got an ending. I’m happy that April is happy because as this show progresses they ruin characters (see Bayley and Jackson for example). At least April is safe lol
